I'm really intrigued by this

I follow Victor Pride, bold and determined podcast.

Dude spits so much truth and the way he's describing carnivore diet vs. not doing it reflect my limited experience with it so thinking about trying it

opinions?

I had a big salad and got crazy brainfog/laziness

but with a pure meat meal I did not lose much momentum

I think the carnivore diet is good for mid or short term use but it's not a cure. Everyone s symptoms come back as soon as they go off the diet. The only thing that will cure you is detox, tei, dating, ect...

Now I do think the carnivore diet could help with things like high cholesterol and insulin sensitivity but by it's self it's not a cure.

I tried it and did not like it. Did you know Danny Roddy also did zero carb before Ray Peat? Started losing his hair after being on it for a long time.

I am more interested in a fasting lifestyle. For example OMAD (one meal a day), 48 day hour fasts, etc. I think you can get away with more this way too (more carbohydrates, shittier foods even).

I think fasting is biggest thing that humans did. No human ate 5lbs of meat everyday. They would kill an animal, eat it completely and fast the rest of the time.

Carnivore diet = eating a shitload of meat everyday

I do eat a good amount of meat, but also eat greens (spinach) and dairy products. I eat what TEI recommends me and it is working well.

Basically what I did for 10 months+. Sometimes changed, like eliminating Kale as per my TEI recommendations and adding more carbs, less fat.

--Couldn't someone take combinations of anything, like if someone does Carnivore diet but also Intermittent Fasting, they could still eat only meat but not that much, because it's once a day? I agree, there's less nutrition as per the absence of vegetables.

What is up with these idiotic diets? Wouldn’t eating just meat lead to iron and copper overload?

Love it Rwac. So true. I like a fasting type diet too.

2 fasting days a week. One day go 18-24 hours. The other do 24-36. Push for the 36 at least once a week or every other week

Make the fasting days your cardio days. Lifting days eat more.

Hate all these diets. Incl. the videos made about them. But yea meat one of the safest foods to eat for me. A lot of manjaws (masculine women) seem attracted to the carnivore diet.

Going on strict carnivore is pretty good on paper. You eliminate all carbs, fibers and antinutrients. You consume less nuitrients but you absorb and utilise them better so it's sustainable*. Definitely way better than other trendy diets. Not sure if everyone would do good on it though. My body worked very well on carbs, but I also trained a sport that required fast explosive movements.

Yeah paleo always seemed to work better for me with being active... low carb being a slow oxidizer but still night backloading and post workout it was good. Paleo one meal a day can be done....
Keto kind of made me sick at times or I couldn't stick to it. Carnivore may be better for me than that, but paleo/okinawan may be even better. I think it depends on activity level and what foods are available, and what a person's goals are. Thanks guys.

SEEMS pretty fking good I agree w that.

Might be interesting, about HTMA. Lead in blood = anti social behavior and lower iq. For sure. Fasting keeps you awesome for sure... blood brain barrier evolved to regulate minerals in the brain.

Carnivore is extremely acidic.
It will throw the PH of the body to the acid side.
It isn't if you do it right. High protein intake is what induces metabolic acidosis, so if you eat enough fats, you're good. Bigger issue is high iron intake which might not be an issue at first, but will probably bite you in the ass sooner or later.

I hope your theory/opinion works out for you.

No point in being passively agressive.
