And especially for you,

Its not about hate, its about love, if you know ODB he actually was inspired by Rick James, Teddy Pendergrass, Marvin Gaye

nno man he was sure they all wanted more money but he wasnt super selfish. he had a lot of mental health and addiction issues. but rza tho i love him, he didn't necessarily to a lot of people's view help everyone out, but ghostface, rza, etc had great solo careers. method man too. not all of them were business minded. and rza was busy he cant control 8 other people's whole financial life. yeah i mean, yes sure for more money but also to expand artist's catalogue. besides he didn't write all his own stuff, unlike GZA, rza, ghostface, raekwon, inspectah deck, masta killah, etc. Ugod sucked - he was a crybaby still blames rza at like 50 years old.

i meant as a producer and the mind behind it, listen to the first 3 albums and also gza's, rae's, meth's debut albums. he has sick verses. pencil, the gza pro tools. he's off beat but still better than all of todays midget mini skirt wearing rappers. Rza and Gza and possibly rae or meth wrote most of ODB's rhymes anyways. Not hating, just facts.

Didn't realize you were a fan of Tricot. Are you into any other math rock?

Here's the opening track track from a math rock EP I've been listening to on repeat for weeks now:

Cool song for sure. The mixing sounds crisp.

Not a fan of Tricot or math rock but I used to play guitar and bass guitar in bands when I was a teenager with this type of music so I can appreciate it.

Bulshit, i give it a go, waiting some tune, some melody to kicks in, nothing, just noises.

Its strangely how prodigy back then named their work music for the jilted generation while the music was good and on point, here there is nothing and that description fits perfectly.

I assume thats what the kids are listening these days, no wonder health is not on the rise as the art that comes from them is so low.

Haha, I understand if it's not your cup of tea (my gf had to tag along to a few live shows before she started getting into it), but I think you're missing the point of this kind of music if all you hear is " just noises". The focus of math rock is complex rhythms and time signatures, and usually some technical guitar-driven melodies and harmonies. I guess it's more geared towards people who have either some music theory background or experience playing instruments. It's kind of like jazz, in that it can just sound like noise if you don't hear the theory behind it. For that reason, it's definitely not what most of the kids these days are listening to.

Also, keep in mind that was just the opening track, and even though it does have a melody, this song is more about harmony and rhythm, while other tracks on the EP have stronger melodies.
God, I hope I don't sound like some pretentious music snob lol. I'm really not trying to :)
