Hi hackers,

since I have recently read that Andreas Moritz actually recommends a kidney cleanse after about four liver cleanses I've wondered how many people here have done this?
It's basically just a tea mix which has to be consumed over a period of a month.
I think my health problems are more related to the kidney than to liver so I've ordered the tea mix and will try it.

Would be nice to hear some experiences.
Does it interfere with daily activities?

Keep your chin up and keep your head )))

Kidneys is also my issue also, I make kidney stones very rapidly sometimes. And I had symptoms of uti pretty much since childhood. Even though the tests for that always come back negative.

A few weeks ago, I baught a kidney cleanse tea. It's this one,
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076M3W6GN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_xS89CbWME092V

I used it twice and I actually noticed some improvements like improved flaccid hang for a couple of days and my mood was so much better too! But it's also had its negatives since some of these herbs are very high in Oxalates. This is basically an Oxalate tea, and it caused more kidney stones. So I have to be careful how I use this tea.

I've been using Chanca Piedra for months now (Andrea Mortiz likes it) and it does a pretty good job of breaking down the stones, but it doesn't solve the problem.

Yesterday I got a liquid herb called Solidago, it's too early to tell what it does, but some people swear by it for kidney issues.

Which tea are you using? Let us know how it goes

I've heard a lot of people say that if you have kidney problems, then you should look for problems in the GI tract. It's believed that GI problems can cause kidney issues.

I believe that the reason my body is absorbing so much oxalates is because I'm unable to properly digest and metabolise fats. I have fatty stools most of the time,

When fat is not absorbed is just hangs around and binds with calcium in the GI. That calcium was supposed to bind with oxalates in the GI and make them insoluble so they leave in you poop. But instead calcium binds with undigested fats and thus allowing the oxalates to get absorbed.

I think that's my main problem.

Hey @manu very good topic, I've been interested in detoxifying & cleansing as well...

high blood pressure is really bad for the kidneys, so keep tabs on that...

Andreas Moritz is dead... so any new recommendations from him I'd research LOL (Nono he's really gone but I'm just joking with ya)

Cranberries do have an enzyme that opens up the capillaries in the kidney that helps keep things moving... @Blugrass I'm sure it's been suggested but it's a good thing to add

fasting will help a fatty liver... but you gotta go long to get autophagy

let us know how the kidney recipe goes!

I will follow the Andreas Moritz recipe tea: Kidney Tea by Andreas Moritz
Looks very different from the one you are using...

Have you done Liver Flushes also? Looks like the two go together. If you have problems with digesting fats -> liver!

Yes I tried two Liver flushes, nothing came out and I felt way worse.
I'm torn about these types of flushes, I mean I get the concept, but eating fat is what causes problems for me.
I just don't understand how drinking a lot of Olive oil is going to help this.

I feel like my issue with fat metabolism is deeper than that.
I would like to try Carnitine or ALCAR for a few weeks and see what happens.

Yes could be your body chemistry.
If your NADPH is severely low you can't produce bile and you have to take malic acid for long time before. Maybe even a month... To build up bile reserves which you then flush out.
I'm just guessing...
