Hey man... I believe you &
@Ghost has re-triggered my interest in a more regular use of cialis , which goes with #1 so I feel everyone may benefit from the EOD dosage of 2.5mg to 5mg. Not to say 'I told ya so' lol, but I mentioned Arginine in my initial post as it a vasodilator and brings more blood in there during erection. And the bathmate is the safest vacuum therapy out there, so you can definitely see this protocol is very similar to what I suggested already ...
I believe the tissue here is definitely recoverable so you have keep us posted with your progress... it will help many in the future.
Yea and likewise your interest in it is getting me thinking about trying it again. I'm really in a low right now and not on anything except r-andro and ashwagandha, but it's not currently paying off. I've decreased masturbation to once every 3 days and don't kegel to get hard anymore. I'm also going to a PT for PF issues. I'm disappointed this isn't helping, but I'm convinced that blood flow, nerves, and muscles are enormous for us.
Great infos guys!
But would you still recommend me to buy R-Andro for the shrinkage or is there some protocol or anybody who has seen improvements.
Btw what do you think about these 4 steps of the german doctor?
Best regards
For me, andro is increasing my beard. I'm only 21 so there are areas that hadn't grown in yet. On andro those are starting to get more hair. No hair loss on the top of my head (but I don't have those genes so I'd be surprised if I lost any hair). I'm also more aggressive. This isn't usually a good thing tbh. Usually when I've had a few beers I'll get really angry at stupid shit. Two weekends ago a woman almost hit me with her car and I got in a yelling match with her. This weekend I saw someone I don't like at a bar and was fuming for quite a while. It's out of character for me, and I don't like it. I'm still fairly peaceful and in control, but when I drink I see that aggressive side come out.
Muscles are better too. I had the flu for a week so I haven't been able to lift for a while, but I was getting pretty big with much less effort. Remember that I'm only on 200mg/day. I could go up to 400mg. It's been 2 weeks for me now, so I'll probably bump it a bit before tapering back off.
@IHateFin might have some info on doses/ tips for getting off. He also has said that subsequent andro cycles get better and better.
Well the penile fibrosis experienced in peoples with PFS and PSSD is both majorly related to serotonin-induced upregulation of Rho-Kinase and the "heart pounding" and increased Anxiety Ghost describes is consistent with a serotonin-dominant state...which is why I've recommended BCAA & L-Lysine (to block 5-HT4). The 5-HT4 receptor is important in Anxiety and consistently implicated in tachycardia induced by serotonin. We know that increased oxygen demand and poor circulation together create withering of nerves and nerve function - which also translates to pelvic floor issues (eventually). Therefore, the most important recommendation is reversing parts of that.

This is good sh*t, man. Thanks for reminding me of this. I agree that increased serotonin is causing a lot of these downstream problems for us. Especially in terms of ROS production. This could lead to the mild fibrosis that I have.
In a similar light, I've heard of people with PSSD or PFS who cure it simply by fixing their pelvic floor. Getting that blood in there is essential. That's why I'm focusing so heavily on my pelvic floor recently. In order to fully immerse myself in these PT treatments, I have to give over a certain piece of my belief in PSSD in the sense that I have to at least partially believe that the pelvic floor can cure me. Posting on the HF / PF forums, these people tell me that I have HF and not PSSD. I don't know if PSSD/HF/POIS/PAS/PFS are really distinguishable as separate entities, or if they are all one big mess - with tons of crossover.

PSSD Collaborative Research • View topic - Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy- Timberline OP
A member "Timberline" said this back in early 2015:
"Now think about this for a minute. As someone with OCD or chronic anxiety, you are already clenching your pelvic floor too often - you might have low grade pain or constipation that you don't even associate with this phenomenon. Then you start taking SSRI's and you develop anorgasmia or delayed ejaculation, or erectile dysfunction. Now you are clenching every time you have sex or masturbate in order to keep an erection or get off. You do this for months or years and create a vicious cycle of more contraction and even less sensation and blood flow. Even when you get off SSRIs (regardless of the persistence of the neurohormonal imbalances), you still have reduced sensation and blood flow. Which of course worries you to no end, contributing to an ongoing cycle of clenching and dysfunction."
I found this through Goldstein inadvertently, and then some other chance events. Afterwards, I could pee like I hadn’t in years, and within a few days I had the best reversal of symptoms EVER.
I was 80-85% cured for a day or two earlier this month. It was just a few days after my PT with Goldstein. Even soft glans was better. Erections felt like they started under my anus, which doesn't happen anymore. Every symptom felt better, and only then did my fear and anxiety about PSSD start to lift. I thought I was better for good. Later, when I went to see a girl, I tensed up and got anxious. When most people get anxious, they might have other physical symptoms, but because my insecurities revolve around my dick, and I've been holding tension there for years... That's where I tensed up (unconsciously even). My boners that had been raging an hour before were now weak and numb. This was not hormonal. This was not Lexapro. This was the clenching of my pelvic floor, and by association, anxiety. Goldstein had told me that onset of PSSD and PFS usually coincides with high stress periods. That's what people on the Hard Flaccid forums said also, and Accutane people...etc...etc...
The first question: Is PF dysfunction sufficient (and note that I don't think it's the only factor in some/many/most cases) to cause (or mock) PSSD symptoms?
Yes. I believe that it is. There are people with only PF dysfunction with similar symptoms as us.
- Numbness
- ED
- Soft Glans
- Loss of Morning Wood
- Loss of Libido - this is a hard one to separate. If you lose the brain - penis connection, libido will fall a bit. Also, if you don't get hard, you won't really have full libido. Then, if you stress, you won't get full libido. This makes you depressed...again...hurting libido. It's a cycle
- Anxiety/Depression - Leading in many cases to changes in personality, mood, confidence, secondary symptoms...
Finally, check out this story from someone who took something that might hit close to home for the PFS people: Saw Palmetto
My 'recovery' and advice for those in despair...
"Long story short, I had been doing PE, one day my penis was really tingling and then I started to get pain in my perineum and penis, I looked online (genius) and self-diagnosed prostatitis so I ordered some Saw Palmetto and completely killed my dick. I was freaking out big time and almost went suicidal at one point. I had no erection and my penis was in pain, doctors just shrugged their shoulders and said I'll be fine. It was a nightmare and in hindsight I literally had a mental breakdown.
I would now like to report that I am 100% better physically and mentally. I wish I could say the symptoms were all in my head, but they weren't. I had a pudendal nerve entrapment, where basically, the muscles in my lower back, pelvic floor region compressed really tight and they push on the nerve which travels all over."
...
"I now have my libido back, am pain free and am the most flexible I have ever been in my life."
...
He noted 6 months later:
"Trigger point therapy is good, but it's not enough. YOU NEED TO FIX POSTURE AND STRETCH THE RELEVANT MUSCLES. I remember reading people say how you need to change your lifestyle and I felt so overwhelmed by the task (especially when reading it whilst suffering from anxiety and depression); but you need to do it if you want the pain to stop. Plus having tight muscles is a certain one-way ticket to premature ejaculation.
So for the most part, the stretches I do are:
Yoga squats (you should feel it stretch your groin area, brutal but great)
One game changer for me was a glute stretch, I don't know the name though. But I will try my best to describe it
Sit on a hard chair with back straight.
Take foot from right leg and rest it on top of the left leg.
Now lean forward
This stretch freed my pudendal nerve big time. I was sitting in a uni lecture doing this (had been doing it for a few weeks) and I literally felt my hip move and click and an electrical charge went all the way to my penis; but in a good way."
