For clarification, I did a 7 days RU trial. The first day was 100mg followed by 6 days of 50mg. Starting feeling positive effects around the end of day 2 and continued through day 7.

While on RU, the positive effects were great and it is not like a drug or stimulating type feeling (compared to something like 5a-dhp or androsterone), I just felt normal and clear headed again, brain fog gone, personality back 100%, super high libido and a super strong brain to dick connection again, multiple random super strong erections all day long. The only downside while on was my metabolism was definitely slower which was expected.

I'm about wrapping up with day 3 off being off of RU. Things have been fluctuating like crazy, like on and off headaches (which is assume is related to cortisol), slowed metabolism, definitely high prolactin as my libido is still high but not as much the urge and refractory time is long. A few times I seriously considered adding in a anti prolactin or perhaps thought about adding in RU EOD because of the headaches but I'm still going to wait it out (Gbol said 2-3 weeks before adding in anti prolactin).

I wanted to talk to Gbol about that, I think the headaches is from low cortisol or cortisol still being blocked because the half life on RU is super long and it still slowly leaving my body. While using RU you are running pretty much on adrenaline the entire time since cortisol is being blocked.

But, I have to say RU is the by far the best thing I have ever tried, and like Gbol says it addresses the underlying issue and the positive effects show that at least for me, so definitely looking forward over the next week or so about what happens.
What is RU? Thx

Any updates to your protocol?
How are you feeling/responding lately?

Good still, same protocol still but just dropped mag chloride, feel better when I did that (more energy) and reduce betaine HCL down to one pill per meal. I think I'm getting plenty of mag now anyways from spinach, been eating a lot raw in my shakes. I just keep it simple with this protocol, I don't add in minerals or anything excess like zinc, copper, boron etc just try to eat good foods (spinach, egg protein shakes, egg whites, whey protein, kale, soups etc)

I sent in my hair test last week, trying not to do anything drastic until I get that back so I don't screw anything up, then I plan to go from there. I have naltrexone and a few other things but want to wait first.

How are your symptoms Tubzy?

Pretty OK overall I would say, but I definitely fit the description of the fast oxidizer they described in the analysis for sure. My libido is pretty high as well, morning wood etc. just still feel a little "go go go" mentality and less calmer, i.e. harder to wind down at the end of the day.

Oh yeah, and here is what they suggested in terms of supplements/diet. Their diet stuff though is spot on for me though.

For the fast and fast-mixed oxidizer, general dietary principles to follow are:

Many fast oxidizers can tolerate and flourish with an increase in their intake of fats and oils. Fats and oils are a
source of high-energy nourishment for the fast oxidizer and are absorbed slowly, providing sustained energy
which helps moderate fast oxidation. Fats and oils also provide acetates and fat-soluble vitamins, both of which
are needed by the fast oxidizer.
Most fast oxidizers may include one of the following fat-containing foods with each meal:
Nuts, seeds and nut butters
Dairy fats: butter, cream, sour cream, or cheese
Meats: lamb, duck, goose, beef
Vegetable oils, mayonnaise, salad dressing C Avocado, coconut Note: Certain cardiovascular conditions may require the modification of fat intake.
Moderate amounts of protein, which includes the above meats, all dairy and the high-purine proteins: organ meats (liver, heart, etc.), salmon, tuna, mackerel, herrings and sardines.
Shellfish and legumes are of moderate purine content.
Reduce carbohydrates (starches and sugars, including fruit sugars) to a minimum. Also reduce whole wheat, rye and oats, unless they are sprouted. These grains are high in phytates which interfere with calcium, magnesium and zinc absorption.

Fast oxidizers, therefore, have a strong tendency to be ‘allergic’ to these grains.

Eat plenty of vegetables with at least two of your meals per day.

Stress Pak is specifically formulated to reduce an excessive rate of metabolism or oxidation rate. The Stress Pak contains a specific group of nutrients designed to slow the central nervous system, and to reduce excessive thyroid and adrenal gland function. These nutrients include calcium, vitamin A, vitamin B12, choline, pantothenic acid, methionine, bioflavonoids, zinc, iodine and copper.

Thym-Adren contains thymus and adrenal gland nucleoprotein together with a special formula of synergetic nutrients. Thym-Adren is specifically formulated to normalize adrenal gland activity. Excessive adrenal activity is a characteristic of the fast metabolizer and of fast-mixed oxidation types. The adrenal glandular substance in Thym-Adren supports the adrenal glands, while the thymus nucleoprotein has an antagonistic effect which tends to slow the rate of adrenal secretion. In this way, Thym-Adren acts to regulate, rather than stimulate adrenal function.

Endo A-C contains vitamin A, vitamin C and bioflavonoids. Endo A-C is given to support immune system activity and to provide a source of vitamin C, without causing a rise in sodium levels, which might occur if vitamin C were given alone.

GB-3 is a formula containing bile acids and synergistic factors. GB-3 acts to enhance biliary output, assisting removal of toxic metals (specifically copper) from the liver. Bile acids also have a laxative effect.

Paramin is formulated to provide the necessary balance of calcium and magnesium. Paramin provides these essential elements in a very well absorbed form including calcium and magnesium citrate and chelate. This product also contains the supportive nutrient boron to further enhance the absorption and utilization of these essential minerals.

Zinc is necessary for the synthesis and release of insulin and also to protect against the deleterious affects of prolonged stress. Zinc is necessary for the production and release of adrenal glucocorticoid hormones. Increased production of these hormones results in improved retention of potassium in the body.

Woww! That's pretty crazy. Man how bad are you kicking yourself now @TubZy for not getting this done back in Sept/Oct?

After getting mine back a few weeks ago, I've been razzled why I didn't do this a long time ago. You just learn so much from this thing. The ratios are great and teach me a lot about my symptoms.

Are we sure that if we balance what is claimed to be imbalanced by hair test, we will feel good with great libido, great functioning penis etc?
I mean @TubZy claims to feel great libido and erections already even being imbalanced, I am a bit sceptical.
It seems to me that hair tests look like blood test, with a range to be in, but you can feel better or worse between the entire range.
Just my 2 cents

@wuf we are all imbalanced. Even those that get balanced are a bit off.

I don’t feel great but I’m a wayyy better than I was and I’m extremely imbalanced. Fix one thing, go get the next. Imagine what balance can do.

I think what you need to realize in terms of this is that tubzy may not be balanced but he also may have gotten rid of prior issues with his lifestyle the last several years now.

The dude has been living very healthily for what 3 years now(?) since he got pfs. So that within itself has likely probably allowed himself to eliminate pathogens, toxins, heavy metals. He’s also done quite a bit to work on that “pfs imbalance” we have which is a seperate imbalance than ARL balancing.

You have to look at ARL, mineral balancing as a piece of the puzzle but it can be a major piece at that. It’s possible just balancing allows your “pfs” imbalance to fade away pretty much the better you get at doing so.

When you balance, your energy increases- body starts working far more appropriately. Organs start working better, adrenals, thyroid. Too many benefits not to do it.

Will be interesting to watch now as it appears many of us are beginning to go down this “balance” walkway.

You can have libido and erections and still be imbalanced, look at the reason why you took fin in the first place. Your hair is falling out but have a super high libido yet you are still imbalanced. Your skin breaks out in acne (i.e accutane), but you have libido and erections, does that mean you are still balanced?

My libido is great actually, but I'm still not 100% fully recovered, fluctuating at time, I mentioned this many times before.

Also, the symptoms that they suggested due to my mineral test are in line to what I mentioned in the past (allergies (food/chemical sensitivity), immune system (mono), liver (high liver enzymes), and of course adrenal hyperactivity:

Interesting , almost 4 highs.

Id recommend magnesium and calcium. Mg brings down na, ca brings down k. Mg/ca bring up cu, mg brings up zn.

stopping it, waiting for @gbolduev to review first

Yeah, if the PFS symptoms are gone and your metabolism is running high that probably accounts for the sky-high Na/K. As you take in more K, your body has to balance it by taking in more Na as well.

I imagine once you go off the protocol your body will slowly return to a more balanced state. The goal is to return to a state where you don't take anything anyway, and you're probably pretty close to that point. I don't think you should do anything to try and re-balance. I think your body will balance on it's own over time.

Your phosphate still isn't super high, so that means ATP synthesis isn't super high and metabolism isn't high in the truest sense. You could always add in some phosphate rich food just in case there is a bit of deficiency there. And then go off the electrolyte protocol and maybe fast a bit or exercise a lot to get Na/K down.
