Nice man, are you still on ARL as well?
Yep, still chuggin along with the program. Definitely still some ups and downs but trending positive. I'm actually gonna send in another hair test in the next couple days to see if my levels have changed much. I'm just too impatient to wait the whole 4 months to retest lol. Plus seeing how much your levels changed in just 1 month got me even more curious.

sweet lol, I haven't tried alcohol yet. How did you feel after drinking alcohol prior to ARL?

I hadn't actually tried alcohol since my last big crash, but before my last crash when I just had "mild" PFS, I drank regularly and often to excess. There were a couple of occasions back then when I'd have prolonged hangover symptoms, like fatigue, headache, and faintness for a couple of days after drinking, but nothing that set me back any longer than that.

I've actually felt an upswing all around since having a few glasses of wine that night last weekend - not sure what to think of it yet. It may also just be because I got a lot of sun, socialized with a lot of strangers, and even performed at the wedding. I always seem to have some relief in symptoms when I push myself out of my comfort zone a bit or have novel experiences.

Learned today that not all beets are created equal. I'd been using industrially farmed beets in my smoothies until switching to locally grown organic today, and the difference in NO effects is night and day. It's significant enough that I'm totally willing to continue paying a premium.

Do you take baby beets, the small red ones or the small candy striped ones which are still red but white inside.

New hair analysis is in! I'm already out of four lows, so I'm pretty stoked about that. Still a lot of balancing to do, clearly, but glad to be out of the "tunnel of death", as Dr. Wilson calls it, lol.

Here's what I got:

Endo A-C is the only new supp for me, otherwise just dosages have changed. But I'm taking a break from everything until I can start all supps just as outlined.

What's really weird, though, is that usually people come out of four lows into slow oxidation, but I came out as a fast oxidizer. So even though I was taking a shit-ton of magnesium and calcium every day, my sodium and potassium shot up while my magnesium and calcium dropped a bit more... I really don't get it. But my sodium was super low on my last test, and I'm happy about making improvement there.

Nice dude. Your second "cycle" should be much better now once you start it since your body will be more dialed in. Also, if you feel like shit some of the days, go the gym and hit the dry sauna for like 15-20 minutes after. I feel 20x better if I ever get a day where I feel like shit for some reason (metals, die off etc)

Nice one Niles! How was your sleeping pre doing the ARL program to what it is right now, have you noticed any improvements in this space?

Actually what all round improvements have you made?

This sounds really positive for you buddy.

Me too @TubZy . Sauna w/ cold showers. I use some eucalyptus, peppermint, and Texas cedarwood scents in water and splash it on the walls or heater.

It legit allows me to become a functional human being again.

I’m not doing ARL/TEI right now but affects can be similar on detox protocol having done both now. This is day 10 I believe and I’m “herxing” in bed like crazy this morning.

Will need to hit sauna before work if I want to get anything done lol.

I still need to make a sauna arrangement, but the closest gym to me that has one is a bit out of my way. I may just bite the bullet and start making the drive a couple times a week. In the meantime, I've found that 2 back-to-back coffee enemas really help relieve healing reactions.

Onwards and upwards!

Before ARL, it would often take me hours to fall asleep, I'd wake up 5 or 6 times in the night, and my sleep felt very light. I still wake up tired most days, but the important thing is that my sleep feels a lot deeper, I can fall asleep fast, and I only wake up one or two times at night. I also still experience intermittent fatigue throughout the day, but the difference now is that I can actually take a nap to alleviate it. Before I'd be fatigued and lay down, but my heart rate would remain high and racing thoughts would keep me from drifting off. Also kinda weird that my sleep has gotten better when my oxidation rate is higher - go figure.

Sleep is the biggest consistent improvement. All around improvements come and go in waves, though. I've had my first few spontaneous erections since I can remember just in the past couple of weeks, I get periods of having a deeper and stronger voice, I get hints of libido here and there (having sex 4-5 times a week, sometimes with cialis sometimes not), and brain fog and personality improvements are there too. Nothing miraculous, but promising things are definitely happening.

I should mention some worsening symptoms, because It's not all sunshine and rainbows lol:

Muscle wastage and fat loss. No surprise there, really, since I've switched to only eating carbs with one meal a day and I stopped rigorous workouts (due to adrenal burnout). I've dropped another 5lbs since starting ARL. But I'm gonna start incorporating more light exercise throughout the week and up my daily calories by a lot, snacking low-carb between meals. My digestion has been consistently shit since December, so once that starts to improve I know It'll be even easier to get my weight and strength back up.

Thanks man, one of my improvements that seems to have stuck is my ability to stay positive lol. I'm definitely far better now than I was In January when I couldn't even go into work without having a panic attack, and I often remind myself of that. Progress is progress, even if it's too slow to feel in real time. I'm super optimistic about this next round of ARL now that I'm out of 4-lows - just started with all the supps today!

Wow, you are so fast to snap out of 4 lows. I guess you were just in lactic acidosis. Now we are looking at your realy body chemistry. I guess copper time now.))

Thanks man! Absolutely - that's why learning to love the process has been critical for me, since I'm gonna be stuck with it for awhile lol. Might as well enjoy the ride and take the opportunity to improve all aspects of life.

I know, I was not expecting these kinds of results at all. I had really tempered my expectations since I read it can take upwards of a year to get out of four lows, so this was a pleasant surprise. It'll be even more interesting to see where I am in another couple months now that I've got something to work with.

Hey @Niles , how long had you been doing ARL to begin with? Is this your second round of supplements, or where there more before that even?

Another development:

Frequent urination, pain in urethra after peeing (feels like there's still urine in there) and mild kidney pain. Has anyone else experienced this?

I occasionally get that urine stuck in the urethra symptom. Seems to be when my penis is at its most rubbery state.
