Hairloss

Just saw this youtube-video, and it calmed me the f*** down about the whole hair shedding Im going through, I have since like 9 months when I started doing random protocols from here and also water fasting (while being in 4 lows.. lol yeah). I've lost about 60 percent of all my hair (from all over my head) even the temples of the hairline has started receding, after always have had a perfect hairline and really thick hair. This guy explains the difference between shedding and MPB. I am curious how many of you have the shedding type of hair loss? (losing all over) vs more of the horseshoe type of hairloss? Has anyone ever seen anyone who reversed the horseshoe type? What is your hairloss experience? I never thought I'd go through this...I have so much empathy for the guys I see now having lost their hair LOL...its scary as hell.. especially since there is no way to get it artificially, transplants are expensive AF and most of them look like shit... you'd think they should've gotten it right by now.

Fast oxidizers tend to have diffuse hair loss - aka shedding from all over. It’s been 10 years of that for me and still is a thing. Most people can’t tell but my hair has thinned our big time.

There are several hair loss threads so search for those!

same, im a fast oxd as well. My hair has diffused thinned on the top of the last 8-9 years or so but not many ppl can really notice since the way my hair is I just can't spike it or do that crazy hair styles anymore since it is not as dense so keep it shorter.

I talked about @Helen with this before everything I tried that slowed me down helped thicken my hair back up (castor oil for example) but made me feel like shit except for mineral balancing but it just takes longer. That is why I think I was always a fast oxd and when I took fin it slowed me down which thicken my hair back up.

How’s it these days? I see some regrowth around temples but still losing ground on density. I have my dads hair so it’s genetic for me. Fin didn’t even slow down my loss.

I think I had a bad diet and lifestyle for a fast oxidizer and this caused my hair loss. Which makes sense since I felt like shit on finasteride from day 1. Never felt good on it or more balanced.

I also had shedding from AAS, especially dianabol. I took these drugs in PFS though.

Then I shaved it to zero and said fuck hair. But I started to do salt scrubs in that time just to try it really rough on my crown where I had the hairloss. I did this for around two months. I also did the onion juice in this time for around 1-2 months.

And now my hair is longer again and it seems like I never had MPB. I don't know if it regrew or that the shedding I had on AAS was not "androgenic alopecia" but something else.

It was definitely thinner for a while after using the AAS. I think it all regrew. If this is due to the salt scrubs, onion juice, me still dealing with PFS or other factor I don't know.

Male pattern baldness is caused by masturbation. For some like me even having sexual thoughts or looking at photos of sexy women can trigger the scalp itching and follicles dying. Practicing celibacy or becoming a eunuch is one way for a man without perfect genes to keep his hair. Sex at the very least heterosexual sex helps prevent and maybe even reverse hairloss but not if you lose semen too often. However even daily ejaculation from sex does not result in hairloss to the degree that masturbation does because the heat is dissipated and does not travel to the head. If you are a masturbator you can lessen the effect by wearing an icepack on your head during and for about 20 minutes after the act.

Taking Finasteride made me lose all my hair because it shut off my scalp and growth while it also made my penis so weak that I had nocturnal emissions every morning usually at 4-5am during the body's morning dht/test surge. Sometimes I would have 2 or 3 wet dreams if I went back to sleep. And every single ejaculation resulted in brain fog, depression and rapid shedding and receding. I think Fin also shut off the vascular system in my face and cheeks which might be related to why my scalp feels completely dead unless I massage it roughly. I also support the idea that tight muscles result in the horseshoe pattern, but like in your back or leg muscles don't get tight because they are healthy but rather from lack of bloodflow from lack of use.

I think masturbation is not good for hair no.

You have to see that sex is meant to make children. Not to use as an instrument of endless pleasure. Of course in the most animalistic of the human psyche pleasure would mean it is behaviour that is promoted. And in a sense "pleasure" is not evil - it is good for humans otherwise it would not give pleasure.

But I think if you have a child your brain also changes as the father. But because people have sex and there is no child born from the sex they have (or masturbation) they are never satisfied.

Useless pleasure is a dead end and will make you weak. Just like white sugar. It does not fulfil the human nature and thus you will do it until eternity until your body gives out.

This is why homosexual sex is garbage. It is the same as masturbation. Also sterile sex is not good because this is also masturbation. It has no goal. It is just wasting energy.

But now people have OCD tendencies with masturbation and they masturbate 4-5 times a day or even more. That's fucking insane haha. I know because I did when I was a teen.

@BC2018 What you describe after orgasm is POIS. And excessive masturbation can cause POIS by imbalance of zinc/copper/manganese from what I read. And I think a lot of guys with POIS also have hair loss. Or at least a lot of people with MPB have POIS.

Also a lot of guys on finasteride develop POIS.

Helen is actually expert on this lol.

I also had bad POIS on finasteride but even before using finasteride. I would only start feeling good after 4-5 days of no ejaculation (NoFap). Before that I would feel brainfoggy, depressed and socially anxious. That was pre-fin.

So it is not just genetically. Of course if you were born weak you are more likely to develop this crap. But there are ways to fix it obviously. But for most people they will stop watching porn and masturbation by doing NoFap but never fix the underlying imbalance they created.

This is what I did. I stopped porn/masturbation and felt better but my hairloss started. I thought it was from bad diet but I also had a past of excessive masturbation to pornography in my teenage years. NoFap fixed a lot but it took a long time, probably a year or so on it. And even then I still had POIS symptoms plus hairloss. And thus never fixed the imbalance I created from all the masturbation I did for years. Plus the wrong diet (little zinc).

If you want to help your hair grow lower stress and don't worry or think about serious things. I had a really bad habit of that and I'm bald as a result of that and taking Fin. In this overdeveloped civilization of ours intelligence is dysgenic to today's women. Morons with the iq level of a door knob get laid easily and somehow always find a place to live and keep their hair even when they're in prison or homeless despite eating fast food all their life, smart guys with high concern for others get wrinkles and dried up skin and gray hairs or lose their hair by their mid-twenties despite eating organic salads when ideally a man should still have a flawless baby face. To rid of built up stress and heat in your head massage your scalp with your knuckles, especially the center somewhere between your forehead and the top pole of the head. What works best for me is to massage side to side, this causes some wrinkles on my pfs'ed forehead but massaging vertically doesn't cause any pain so there is no release. You can venture off to the back of the head right above the occipital bump if you have one, or the sides of the scalp too, or other tension areas like the side of your face next to the eyes. You will know you hit a sweet spot when after 30 seconds of painful massaging your face will feel really fresh and you will notice your forehead and eyes are more relaxed.

I've been looking at forums with the focus of hair loss for a few days and the bottom line seems to be :

increase androgens = feel good, strong libido/confidence/motivation = shed hair.

Decrease androgens (taking progesterone ect.) = weak erections, harder to orgasm and less satisfying, nicer skin, hair looks better and stops shedding.

If we have to choose bewteen libido and hair, I dont know what to choose, I never had libido and always had nice hair, now im losing it maybe becuase of a stress response OR maybe im on the track towards feel good, strong libido/confidence/motivation... Damn I wish I had a nicely shaped head so I could be bald and still good looking.

I think it’s fair to say many of us have had both simultaneously. If I had to choose I’d go with libido. Now that I have my libido and erections back 95%, all I want is my hair back. Trying to be smart about it. No external hormones or weird supplements ever again. Focus on de-stressing my lifestyle and eating a diet geared towards my oxidation rate.

Mine pretty much halted on TEI and cold showers however my motivation and energy are low with some other odd sides so it's not ideal and not cured by any means and not balanced. Also this past cycle feel a bit bloated. If I take a hot shower my scalp it returns slightly but still better than not taking TEI.

You get hair growth from hot showers? I doubt it, hot water ruins hair and skin moisture, I wish I could stand cold showers to improve my dry skin and ugly hair but my body temperature is low and the shock of the cold water causes my stress to spike. My head is red hot a lot of the time when I do something I'm not supposed to like eat gluten or stay up past 11 and that's causing my head to bald not to grow more.

No. He said hot showers worsen his condition. Cold showers are what helped.

The question is : is it possible to reverse PFS (or in my case from saw palmetto/progesterone at 16 years old with no hairloss in sight) with TEI without losing all your hair? Or will we end up bald like the ones who used CDnuts protocol.

I'm thinking this will fix my symotoms but might also show my "true" hair state. I Always thought i got lucky and got hair genes from my dad who has perfect hairline at 51 years of age. But maybe i got my grandfathers hairgenes who started to bald at like 25 years and, I just never knew about it because I took those supplements at such an early age. And the saw palmetto/progesterone "saved" me from losing my hair years ago....just a theory.

Others will weigh in and some of them have a different opinion, but I do not believe that TEI, or anything supplement wise, will stop or reverse hairloss. People have been trying natural remedies, supplements and the like for quite a while. It has not produced the desired results. Sadly, the reason we are all here is because one of the only things that works for hairloss, caught up with us.

I have moments with high motivation, high libido and no shedding. But this is not every day yet. This shows me though that the correlation between a healthy libido and hairloss is not 100%. I feel androgenic on those days as well. Confidence, oily skin, high sense of smell, motivation. Women flirting more with you. It is the high testosterone feeling.

I hope this stablises and if I still don't have shedding I would say TEI + a healthy lifestyle is a way how at least fast oxidizers can fix their hairloss.

So we will see. But my lifestyle is completely changed. I have not had sex for 6 months since starting TEI since I wanted to focus on that and get better. Cut out all the bullshit from my life. I don't masturbate. Sometimes I have a wet dream. I don't have much POIS either anymore after a wet dream. I think I am going to only have sex with women I like instead of random hoes like I did before. The energy you get from abstaining is incredible and it is not worth it to waste it every week on a different girl who does not give anything back.

A lot of these girls act like vampires for real! They want a piece of your energy. But this energy is meant to create a child. Or you use the energy to create something in the world.

Before finasteride and while on finasteride I had hardcore POIS symptoms. In PFS as well. But now it is much better - maybe a bit more tired than normal.

I think TEI can fix a lot but it is not the magic bullet. I do think it can be a great support system to fix your issues. But also eat good food. No junkfoods ever. Period. Just eat meats, fish, some carbohydrates, some vegetables + dairy if you are fast oxidizer to support your stressful life.

There can be other stressors in your life. I think especially the fast oxidizers are prone to high stress and just pushing themselves in overdrive all the time from the lack of animal fats, magnesium and calcium in the diet. Psychological and physical stress probably act the same way, they burn through calcium and magnesium.

The slow oxidizer I don't know. Maybe toxic metals, copper toxicity, other crap. Slow oxidizers tend to fix their problems slower as well I think than fast oxidizers. This is what Helen said I think some time ago.

Where is your hair at? You got a horseshoe or just some receeding at the tempels and shedding all over like me?

I got mostly shedding from the crown area. My dad has the same. He has a good hairline but his crown is thin. I did have some shedding in the temples before I took finasteride. But I was using a lot of stimulants and creatine for workout. I think I regrew that.

I don't have hairloss at this point. I do get sheds from time to time which last 1 day but this does not influence how my hair looks. No one knows I am dealing with hair loss although at one point it was much worse from the anabolic steroids. I think people probably saw it then. Not sure. No one ever said something about it back then.

The only thing that is not stable is that I don't feel androgenic everyday. I sometimes have days where I feel worse than normal. Although it seems these periods last shorter now.

If that is stabilised I can claim I fixed hairloss (and PFS for that matter) with the TEI and lifestyle. Otherwise it is half assed. Like some guys they can stop hairloss but they feel bad. That is not stopping hairloss the way you want it. I would always choose mood over hair. Although yes when you fix the mood you want the hair. That is natural. But still never compromise your mood for hair. Never. Shave it off if you have to. It is better than feeling like shit with hair.

On finasteride I became a subhuman. Completely different human. The way I thought and stuff. It is insane and it is a dangerous drug. For me it made me very weak minded and more like a woman. It is really disturbing when I think back about that time and I would never recommend it to anyone.

I want to know how I feel off all supplements. Maybe then I get hair loss. if not and I feel good I would say TEI + lifestyle fixed hairloss.
