I've only been doing once a day and it's working for me. I do feel mildly bloated at certain times, but nothing too bad

On this for 2 or so weeks now, stools much better, less gas and feeling a bit more confident after hitting some anxious lows earlier in this year, still a long way to go but a very promising start. No change in sexual symptoms or anhedonia but I didn't expect any from this

Interesting reading I was doing earlier on malnutrition symptoms from SIBO and such.

Signs and symptoms of undernutrition include:

lack of appetite or interest in food or drink
tiredness and irritability
inability to concentrate
always feeling cold
loss of fat, muscle mass, and body tissue
higher risk of getting sick and taking longer to heal
longer healing time for wounds
higher risk of complications after surgery
depression
reduced sex drive and problems with fertility

more severe cases:
breathing becomes difficult
skin may become thin, dry, inelastic, pale, and cold
the cheeks appear hollow and the eyes sunken, as fat disappears from the face
hair becomes dry and sparse, falling out easily

I had every damn one of those during my run with PFS., and I mean every single one (and plus some, of course). May be old news here - but that was shocking.

I can check every box as well, especially the severe cases.

Is this gut protocol sufficient to treat SIBO or do you need anti biotics?

Surely doing a 30 day water fast or whatever you would expect to get all these symptoms too though?

I've read doing the 'elemental diet' (pretty much powdered or bottled supplements that are extremely easy to digest and contain all your essential nutrients) has an 84% success rate at eradicating SIBO after 2 weeks. Not sure if I've read of anyone with PFS/PSSD/PAS/CFS trying this, but it would be interesting to know.

One would think, but most people reported getting higher libido and such when fasting in PFS state. I can state the same when I did my juice fast three years ago.

Per the thread it seems this would rid of SIBO. But I got rid of my PFS without treating SIBO (or at least meaning or intending to) so I don’t know if we can say 1=1 there. I don’t know if I even have SIBO or not, I was just researching it. I, like you, was very shocked the similarity in unexplained symptoms I had during PFS.

U don't need antibiotics, just keep going guys. You haven't even seen the full benefits yet. 2 months minimum

I ordered everything and will hop on this shortly as soon as everything arrives, I've been trying to fix my gut for years for acne and food allergies. So i'm excited to see if this helps :)

Copper is antimicrobial and antifungal as well. NB practitioners say once your body starts releasing it a lot of the bacteria and fungus issues go away.

it would be interesting to see how you do after this cycle.

zinc is antiviral antifungal, copper is antibacterial, profungal pro viral. iron is probacterial pro fungal. So to give iron, usually need zinc, then copper, then iron.

SO I guess in some people the order is zinc, then copper, then iron, then magnesium.potassium.( these could be first also)

testosterone for instance increases iron= profungal probacterial. then people take antibiotic thinking they can kill bacteria)))

iron raises dopamine, and all neurotrasmitters, if those were inhibited it can cause a lot of jittery stuff and anger.

until the body starts breaking them down, with MAO, A MAO B COMT etc

Hopefully after this cycle you will be better.

I assume this is why some people feel extremely jittery on tribulus or DHT. Tribulus is antiviral antibacterial, and I am not sure about fungus.

I wonder if body is binding testosterone hard with SHBG not to put iron into blood.

Yea I had the jittery stuff for a while. Music sounded really good. Addictive behaviour and unable to stop doing them.

The anger is still there especially in the morning (after I took the iron at night) like you want to attack people. Or get irritated when people talk too long, stuff like that.

Now it is toned down and had a few downswings in the meanwhile. I also notice the white tongue on this cycle. Maybe iron is increasing the fungals at the moment.

Minerals are very interesting though. The longer I do this stuff the more I see what type of effects certain minerals have and I understand your stuff better.

Doing better so far on day three of just wheatgrass, for what it’s worth. Still having “healing reactions” of sorts for what it’s worth. But I think that’s from the cleansing of the bad guys.

yeah, I am pretty sure you were reacting to those greens that chelate. but watch it and see how you do , some people dont do good on probios at all.

@Ocguy what is the exact mechanism of the wheatgrass in this protocol

this protocol does not have wheatgrass, it has green powder thing. which is liver detox. things to . make more bile.

like brocolli ,spinach, etc.quercetin. plus enzymes.

but also has chelating agents. and heavy iron content. and tetrapyrolles. so could be hard for some people. but overall heavy chelating combo.

Yeah, I'm assuming so. I have NEVER reacted well to Spirulina. CD always suggested it in his protocol, I could never tolerate it. S. Boullardi always gave me some iffy feelings as well when I ran it on CD's protocol at English's suggestion.

Here's my question though, and forgive me if you've answered this elsewhere - given your last statement, if TEI is working well for me for what I want it to, overall health and slaying PTSD, wouldn't I eventually get the same result as this protocol by just staying the course on TEI? I'm also running TUDCA and Bile Acids to make sure the bile flow is working with my lack of GB.

Only reason I ask, is that if I don't have to feel like ass from the probiotics, I'd prefer not to. It's hard to push through at work sometimes when you feel like your body is a warzone, lol.

remember I told you , TEI would help , but I am not sure how it can balance you overall without GB

IMO you need to find some protocol which gets rid of sibo and supports digestion or you will just relapse over and over again.

same as all these SIBO peopel.

I have never seen one person cure SIBO just by killing shit in their gut. or running probiotics. they relapse like in 90% cases. since most of them had problems that lead to SIBO

Some did get cured, which got in trouble from running antibiotics, recently. but those sick cases. they run xifaxan over and over and over , then make up different stories why it does not work.

some run xifaxan , but have actually fungal infection, then get worse after xifaxan, go on heavy probiotics, and cure fungus, and claim xifaxan cured them althought they felt like total shit on xifaxan and off.

tons of different people.
