WORDS mean dif things dep on intent. OLDER (Cute) ladies and women that called me sweetie were nice. SOME whore patronizing you at a club, calling you sweetie is different. SOME girl you're fingering while tweeting, drunk out of your mind, calling you sweetie also has a different connotation. I do agree, words hurt.
