How to treat osteoporosis?

So I now have pretty bad osteoporosis in my spine, I need to take D3 and K2, but these tend to be risky in PFS.

Is there any way to fix this sort of thing naturally? Bisphosphonates are a huge no-no.

It’s all Calcium absorption as I have said to you prior. The fluoride says that too. In your Oligo
Yeah, my dexas have improved so my calcium is starting to be absorbed. I’ve got the cause fixed, but I just want to build on what I’ve got.

Have you checked your blood PH and or CO2 level to see if you are in alkalosis?
I talked to chatGPT on that topic today. (I am in alkalosis + suspected osteoporosis)
Here is the conclusion:

Osteoporosis & Alkalosis – Why K2 Doesn't Always Help

Vitamin K2 helps shuttle calcium from the blood into the bones – but only if your metabolism is in the right state.
In metabolic alkalosis (elevated blood pH), this mechanism can backfire:

Potential Problem:

  • K2 lowers free calcium levels in the blood
  • The kidneys interpret this as calcium loss → they retain more bicarbonate
  • This keeps the blood pH too alkaline, which inhibits bone formation
  • Calcium may be deposited in soft tissue instead of bone

Key Requirements for Proper Bone Mineralization:

  • Sufficient magnesium (for osteocalcin activation)
  • A slightly acidic pH (osteoblasts function best below pH 7.45)
  • Balanced CO2 and redox state
  • Stable parathyroid hormone (PTH) and vitamin D3 levels

Conclusion:

If you’re dealing with both osteoporosis and alkalosis, K2 supplementation may be counterproductive at first.
Your body cannot properly use calcium in this state.

First normalize pH and CO2,
Then introduce K2, D3, and magnesium to support real bone regeneration.

@merebalacy we need some for sure. I sprinkle calcium citrate on my meals like 600mg total per day. I would take good source of silica as well. I use Geosilica 300ml bottle with 200mg of silica in 10mg per day..

Ok thanks bro, i use silica already, mag and I plan on adding calcium soon. Do we need anything else?

@merebalacy well in normal scenario calcium, magnesium, boron, silica, D3/K2, protein/collagen is good stack.
But like @freyadog already said there could be some major imbalance outside of just deficiecny of micronutrients... Also slow oxidizers have to be careful with calcium/D3. So it doesn't lower metabolism even more..

I am a slow one according to my last hair test, but is lowering metabolism really much of a problem when you need supps for your bones?

If I did 1000IU a day, would it make much of a change in metabolism?

@merebalacy I think best thing you can do is test vit D in the blood and see if you need to take it.. If it's low I would take it. I will test vit D as well now before winter. So I know if I should take some or not..
