Many of the celebs look like starved dogs tho. Sarcopenia or at least muscle wasting a bit. Fat loss and muscle loss. IDK about all the mineral stuff but yeah it is a bad way to go for most ppl.
America is a "throwaway nation", people are too fat, disgusting, and lazy to take any responsibility and run, lift, and diet.

I'm not hating on the women in your personal life, I'm just saying... just bc Oprah or Rosie O Donnel or whoever, finally got it together to lose 50-200lbs after 80yrs or something, I mean that is not that impressive. I lose 80lbs at 16. And shifted 84lbs after being vegetative with PFS, and a decade before that 30lbs, after Effexor XR and seroquel etc(which was after losing 70-80lbs, going from 38in waist to 34 and eventually 32 and even 31in waist).

If it helps some ppl drop 600lbs and live then fine. But for the average 25-35year old, "no". It is fine for some women sure. Just like chantix or wellbutrin is for quitting smoking. Or vaping (harm reduction tool).

But in general, yeah you're going to see people that don't need it, on it. It could be a lot worse, but nothing beats strength training and fasting for combatting insulin resistance and for enhancing caloric restriction.

Gotta lose some now, but carnivore will help that and joint pain and then that. I am sick though, throat pain and other stuff, Lifting again. I am sure I will drop 5-10lbs in a week or so, just not having dairy. 20lbs weeks later, o/w I am adding the main gym stat. Perhaps, sleeping in day and being awake at night is hurting me a lot, but I am fixing that too. I also have done that before and remained thin/lean.

So true. Most of the people who are on Ozempic look like shite. Similar to fasting if your body lacks nutrients it will be hungry and if you don't give it what it needs you just create bigger deficiencies. This is why for most people fasting is also not good. It's the same. Starvation.

Now sometimes fasting can be good I imagine for example if you are oversaturated with nutrients, minerals, etc. Or you overeaten and fucked your metabolism up. Or you ate the wrong foods for your body chemistry. Maybe if you are already healthy and good levels of nutrients/minerals/vitamins then it can be very good. So it depends.

For example when I first fasted I felt great and felt like my metabolism got fixed somewhat. Then after I could not last long any time and always felt like my metabolism just shut down incl. healing/detoxification. But this is my own experiecne. And no it wasn't because of lack of willpower.

Ozempic just seems like forced starvation to me for people with no willpower. Their body is screaming for nutrients and they lower their hunger signals with a drug. They go full on against their body! Long term death sentence.
