Hard to say, but many of the published studies showed health benefits after 8-12 weeks of 1 liter a day.after how long should you see any improvements if any?

Looks like a french press. How do you even use that thing? Sounds like a good idea though @Niles.
Actually looks like a vaporizer.
Thanks man, I'm feeling really good about recovery now. Not gonna let every setback make me question the process, just gonna keep going and try to have some fun along the way. Just think, if we can knock out some life goals while in PFS, then we'll be absolutely unstoppable once we recover.Nice update bro! Very well written also.
Since you had some of your best recovery days on ARL, and also the fluctuation I'm sure you're moving to a new level of recovery. That's awesome man.
May as well have money, credentials, a business, or new creative talents to show for all this time. I agree 1000%.
Been awhile since my last update because I've been on ARL, and things have been... weird, to put it lightly. In the past three weeks, I've probably had 1 or 2 of my top 5 BEST PFS days, and 1 or 2 of my top 5 WORST PFS days. I expected that I'd get some not-so-comfortable healing reactions, but in a PFS state that can mean worsened shrinkage, loss of EQ, gyno, joint pain, weight loss, dry skin, dry joints, insomnia, and more. All of which I have experienced since my last update. BUT, this means that things are happening, and even if I only get a handful of days that indicate that things are moving in the right direction these next few months, that's enough for me. I've had to do some soul-searching to get through the rough patches, and I've come to realize that I'm not going to gain any sort of traction until I'm out of 4 lows. I've dabbled in hormonal protocols and some heavy supplementation, but my body just doesn't have the fuel to sustain any improvements without first establishing a solid foundation. This means sticking to ARL supplementation, strict diet, and a healthy lifestyle WITHOUT FAIL:
No gluten
No dairy
No refined sugar
No alcohol or recreational drugs (obviously)
Carbs only at dinner (sweet potato)
Meditate daily
Cold showers daily
Coffee enemas daily
Walks outside daily
ARL supps daily
Exercise daily (never to exhaustion, until resting energy level is more consistent, indicating healthy thyroid and adrenals)
See friends and family as often as possible
I've found that the tough thing about this kind of routine is keeping up with it without isolating yourself from friends and family. If what we're trying to do here is give the body everything it needs to put things in place, then surely the body needs consistent social interaction, as humans have evolved to be social creatures. I find that my PFS state is much better during a particularly social week versus a week when I'm holed up like a hermit. I've got a new mantra that I try to live by every day:
What kind of person do you hope to be once you've recovered? Strive to be that person TODAY (without putting your health at risk).
This means making new plans, doing new things, exploring, meeting new people, and generally enjoying life. Even if it seems like a chore at times to force yourself outside of your comfort zone when you're feeling depressed or drained, it will be absolutely worth the effort. None of us are getting this time back once we're recovered, so we might as well make the most of it.
I feel like I'm turning a corner mentally, and that I'm getting closer to the mindset necessary for recovery. First and foremost, believe in recovery 100%, every day. Then, live your life as you would normally, as best you can. Don't ruminate, don't catastrophize, and keep your health routines/supplementation simple and consistent. No cheating. If you cheat even once, then following the routine will become a choice the next day, rather than a given. What we want is for it to become automatic to the point where we don't have to use up a bit of will power every time we're confronted with a piece of the routine.
Haha, I would be stoked to recover in 3 months. But I'm not setting a timeline for anything, so right now progress is my only goal. This is as good an opportunity as any to transform myself into the person I've always wanted to be. Before PFS I was complacent, lazy, and indulgent as fuck... And now I'm not. So if I can stick with this, anyone can. And I know a lot of people say that sort of thing, but seriously, you'd be hard-pressed to find a weaker-willed person than me pre-fin lol. I know it sucks adjusting to ARL, but trust me, you will have some days in the next few weeks when you realize why it'll all be worth it. With plenty of shitty days in-between lol.I wouldn’t be shocked if you recover in 3 months from now based on your mindset.
I’m really glad we all have a guy on this board to look at and say “what would Niles be doing right now?” when something like the choice of popcorn or some hummus and celery comes up. Or the choice of working out or going out comes up. Or the choice of slacking at work, giving yourself the excuse to take it easy because you are “recovering” comes up.
I mean we’ve all done this kind of stuff haven’t we? Your making the right choices and it’s something I hope I (and the rest of us) can emulate.
Today was my first “balancing” day using supps and I felt so weird. Like the coffee enema feeling I get in my brain but that times like 20. Whatever’s going on is potent. Will say I had the deadest dick all day (but it hasn’t been good since zinc crash Tuesday), but at the gym tonight the combination of lifting and an amino acid drink gave me a quick burst of solid libido. I wonder what it was exactly, but I got semi-hard looking at two below average looking women with working out haha.
I’m preparing for the worst for a bit. It makes sense. I mean we are making our bodies release so much crap from our livers essentially with what we are doing.
My hair isn't great right now. Dry, lifeless, with dandruff and itchy scalp. Hard to say if it's DHT itch or what. And yours?
Yep, minus prostacine (because of the saw p.)My shedding went down a bit, but similar to yours my hair seems a bit dry as well at least for now.
Are you also taking the full protocol, every supplement ARL told you?
I was recommended renamide and prostacine, but I'm only taking the renamide because prostacine has Saw P. Have you been experiencing any negative effects from the glandulars? Gbol recommended we take them because they also have necessary amino acids/vitamins.@Niles @TubZy are you guys taking glandulars? I've been taking 1 with each meal but ARL asked for 2. I'm considering getting rid of them completely next week and going without. I know @Raincoast did.

Went to a wedding last night and had a few glasses of wine for the first time since January. And I'm still alive! The buzz wasn't as nice as it would have been pre-fin, but it did give me some libido and better hang. And my voice is deeper this morning than it's been in months! Could be a coincidence, who knows. But I'm back to abstaining from alcohol now, just good to know that a few drinks on a special occasion doesn't seem to set me back.
