Hello and thank you for this great forum. I am male 30 yo, and I recently got the results for my hair analysis.

I am confused because my Potassium and Sodium are high, yet they listed my metabolic type as "Slow 4". Shouldn't this indicate a fast oxidization rate?

Please take a look and let me know what you think. and do you agree with their dietary advice at the end?

I tested my Ceruloplasmin twice, first time it was 20.0. Second time it was 17.3 (16 - 31)
I also tested my serum copper once not long ago, and it was 77 (72 - 166)

You could be in a transitional oxidation state. Focus on bringing your aluminum down because it is extremely high and could wreak havoc in your body. Follow the detox protocol and use the sauna weekly. Post your story as well.

Thanks so much for the answer. I will switch to an Aluminum free deodorant asap, and I like the Sauna idea.

What do you think about my low copper? all the these results tell me that I should be supplementing with it but I am worried that I have a lot of it already

- My main symptoms that I had my whole life really
Anxiety, depression, brain fog, Hard Flaccid, ED, Premature Ejaculation (extreme), heartburn, dental cavities, bloating

- I did take Finasteride for a short period about 8 years a go (I don't believe this caused my issues)
- I also tested positive for H pylori blood anti bodies (did the triple therapy, not sure if it helped)
- I do smoke cigarettes and very little Marijuana (trying to switch to the E cig, and quit pot) but again I had issues before this.
- Vit D and A, and total Cholesterol are always on the lower side

I have done a bunch of tests, feel free to ask about a specific one, I may have it.

Wow that aluminum.

Besides, what are your problems & symptoms ?
Are you PFS ?

Could it be the Deodorant?

I did take Finasteride for about a month years ago. I did experience worsening of sexual symptoms while on it and afterwards. but I also had some of these issues long before II took the drug.

Please see above post for symptoms

No problem, definitelty cut out the aluminum deodarant, drop the cigarettes and weed. Start detoxing, start doing sauna sessions, follow the Trace Element mineral balancing program, and post your tests. Your aluminum is dangerously high and you need to eliminate this from your body. It sounds like you had health issues before you even took fin. Check out the log from @bruschi11
and take notes on all the detox steps he implemented.

Sorry for posting too much on my first day. I feel like it is important that I share this BLOOD mineral test results that I did a month ago with genova diagnostics.

Cadmium is high (Must be the Pot) but does that mean it is being stored in tissues? could be from recent exposure to it from pot.
Potassium RBC is also high (does this indicate Acidosis or Alkalosis?)

Thanks man, will do.
Do you guys think that Hydrogen water might be helpful in my case?

This has been a tough battle and it only recently that I started relying on tobacco, pot, and PORN (forgot to mention this one) to relieve some of my depression.
the shrunk penis symptom is the worst. its gets so small with bulging veins on the sides and my testicles hang very low at the same time.

I am very optimistic that I will beat this tho.

I am not familiar with hydrogen water but it could be worth a shot once you start the basic detox steps. Cut the porn too dude. Tackle this with all your strength and keep a positive attitude. You will beat this and everyone will:cool:

Blugrass is this from your armpit hair?

No this collected is from the sides of my head over a period of three weeks.

I typically shave my head every other day. So to get a good sample, I let my hair grow for 7 days and then used a clipper to cut it. I did this three times.

"My hair analysis results. am I fast or slow?"

You seems to be fast and slow. As TEI say you are slow with high ca/p with fast thyroid and adrenals.

Cerulo and serum copper pair not from same day test ? It might be still relevant if there is no huge swings in those values. It looks like lil over 20 and lil over 30 % for those cerulo values with same serum copper levels, range 5-20%
Maybe you've accessed thyroid markers so far: tsh, ft3, ft4, reverse t3 ? and iron studies: serum, tibc, transferrin, ferritin ?

My CA/P is high? it looks in range to me.
I am trying to figure out which of these ratios these used to determine that I am slow?

Thanks for the response

You see on the ratios graph, its 2.7 which is over the 'ideal' 2.6 (but extremely close to ideal)

Basically their computer is making you slow 4 because of this. They made my 1st test slow 4 too, second test they called me fast 1 cos my ca went down and p raised.

You're not really slow imo, looks like a pretty standard fast oxidiser hair test. Arl would say you are fast. Because its so close to ideal i woildnt worry about it. What does this mean? Youre a fast. Eat a bit less carbs and a bit more fats. I think maybe 40% fat, 35% protein and 25% carbs. You can play with it a bit, just keep fats highest. Depends on your protein needs. I need a lot, my gf doesnt seem to need much. What ratio do you think you were eating before the test?

Thank you so much for explaining this. Everywhere I read it says high K and Na means fast oxidization, that's what confused me.

My diet before this test is always mainly carbs. so about 50% carbs 25% fat 25% protein. I am currently researching Keto diet because it sounds like that is what I need?

I also think I will avoid supplementing with minerals even though my copper is low in every test But I am worried it may be hidden. I think its better to allow the body to balance its own minerals.

Do you have experience with Hydrogen Water? It sounds to me like I should be avoiding it right? because I am fast?

A slow oxi which receives a program and say need to avoid fats and eat high protein, but also looking like a fast oxi and supposedly that should include more fats in diet with less carbs and moderate protein. Those two labs completely messed up everything. Someone needs to call those and tell them they suck.

@Blugrass
You've said you did a blood donation after the jan. labs, did you do only one ? It looks some of the markers dropped significantly in apr. labs.
What your albumin, T. protein, BUN and Co2 look like ?

Funny thing is I always had better erections when I add a few teaspoons of olive oil to my food, but it makes me bloated AF so I would stop. I think I should stick with it for a few weeks and see what happens.

But then again, shouldn't Ceruloplasmin be high for a fast Oxidizer? Maybe things just changed for me between those tests.

I did the blood donation because my Iron Saturation was on the higher side and I thought my issue could be Iron Overload. I did only one donation and I felt worse afterwards.

I don't have recent results for the tests you mentioned but in Sep/2017 they were

I will say that in 2016 my BUN/Creatinine ration was below reference range

Thank you Sir

My plan for now

1- Stop using Aluminum antiperspirant, I just received my Aluminum free Deodorant in the mail today

2- Use a free form Amino Acid Supplement. I feel terrible every time I supplement with Multi Vitamins or Multi Minerals. However, I have been using Platinum Plus Amino Acid for the last week and my mental abilities have improved during this week. The only problem with that is my knees have felt weaker and they make a cracking noise on stairs. I suspect its the Molybdenum that is added to the supplement. so another $50 down the drain lol . I bought a new Amino Acid formula that I am excited about.

3- Switch to the E cig, currently trying to find one that works for me

4- Cut back on my already reduced pot consumption and use Carbon (Charcoal) filters because they trap Cadmium (Other filters don't)

5- Swap porn for exercise lol and find a gym that has a good Sauna room.

Any suggestions welcome
