Thinking about taking b12 in addition to folic acid as i am on keto right now and they are both needed for adrenaline production. @Helen can keto deplete b12?

What i dont get @Helen why do you recommend low fat high protein medium carb diet for slow oxidizers (ARL/TE also do this)? Because keto would eventually speed you up by fixing adrenaline receptors because it increases the demand for adrenaline (and cortisol?) or does the fat slow down metabolism more?

Slow oxidizers usually have problems either with glutahtione, or with the oxygen delivery.

If glutathione is down and they cant get to cysteine, their thyroid does not work. Or if they have hemoglbin problems then oxygen does not get delivered

Keto is just a stil to feel less lactic acid, I dont think it is good for slow oxidizers, since it slow oxidation even more. but takes care of some problems like lactic acid. and some feel better

the idea for a slow oxidizer is to increase oxygen delivery and you feel better, this is why you run which increases breathing and you increase oxygen delivery .

I think you should try to follow what me and Matty came up with for you.

And you will need to eat carbs, and when carbs make you feel good and stonger, then we will know that your oxygen delivery is going well.

@Helen question about pot. My older brother smoked a lot of pot when he was in his teens and now 10 years later still has panic attacks and paranoid thoughts which started when he started smoking pot. Any idea how to help him?

Upperbody day was hard AF. Feel very depleted but still got a pump (sodium?) without carbs. Was a good workout but had to decrease weight on most exercises. 30 mins of interval training on treadmill went OK, didnt get tired at all, could run forever but couldn’t speed up much (which was to be expected on keto). All in all, good workout

Cigarettes and weed is full of cadmium which will cause the panic attacks. Get him to fast, or arl/tei with near infrared saunas for detox. Cadmium appeared on my hair test which was sampled from my waterfast, before the fast my cadmium was zero.

@Nina

Are you using plain Folic acid?
There are so many methylation-forums with CFS people, so I dont know if I would choose Folic acid in your case.

Yeah just the normal one, non active form

Went to gym, couldn’t get heart rate up over 120-130bpm during cardio lol. Was sweating a lot but heart rate didnt go up at all.

After seeing @HS hairtest after using hydrogen water, im starting to doubt keto diet. Also seeing @bruschi11 having issues after hydrogen it becomes even more clear that keto might not be the way to go. Not sure what im gonna do

It is for the one who can afford it metabolically. If one can do heavy habits then its healthy enough to afford it. Have you seen someone with bad health to do this consciously, no cause they are not that stupid, but you have seen some with good health allow himself do it on occasions. The logic is perfect. We dont talk about junkies or the one that do whatever the f they do.

I think unhealthy people sometimes use drugs/alcohol aswell to feel better
