Decided to start keto again. Been feeling extremely lethargic and unmotivated on carbs. Currently 20 hours into a water fast, aiming for 5 days to make sure im back in ketosis.

I'm with you. CFS from EBV. High carb always makes me turn for the worse. I'll do keto for about 14 days, after 14 days of hiking and whatever else I can do, I'll start thinking "man, I need some carbs". I eat rice or fruit or something for a few days and be completely useless/no energy. Keto is the only thing keeping my ebv at bay. Hopefully TEI can break the cycle and get my immune system back online.

Yeah, same. Just feel tired all day, chugging coffee and its not even helping anymore lol

Have you had any luck long term with keto and a high physical workload? It seems after a couple weeks I start to feel strange, like somethings off. I'm planning to try some dextrose after exertion, or before bed. See if I can get the viral load benefits of keto with the muscle benefits of glucose. Probably wont work ha

Yes and i still feel good on keto no matter how much i have to do. Only thing i miss is power when strength training and my speed goes down but those are all the downsides really. Maybe the fact that its hard when eating out but i definitely have a lot more energy on keto and i can actually keep up with life when im eating a keto diet without crashing and wanting to sleep 24/7

@Helen you know what causes excessive sweating? Magnesium fixes this for me tho but what causes it?

1.
Makes sense dex and especially adderall increase sweating... (NE increased dramatically with Adderall) for me... coffee, nicotine too...
-AND CERTAINLY: --> Effexor, an SNRI.
Adrenaline, I had* the same problem. Magnesium kills adrenaline response.

I ate Mg and powders all the time... off now to wait for TEI* supps, probably they will email or call me tomorrow for confirmation of payment (I will call, if no call early tmro).

Mg slows us down?

Magnesium Inhibits Norepinephrine Release by Blocking N-Type Calcium Channels at Peripheral Sympathetic Nerve Endings

Abstract

"Although Mg2+ contributes to blood pressure regulation partly in terms of vasodilator action, its sympatholytic effect may also play an important role to control blood pressure. Thus, in the present study, we investigated the effect of Mg2+ on sympathetic tone and blood pressure. We studied its actions on the blood pressure response to hydralazine, a direct vasodilator, in conscious spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs), and to electrical stimulation in the pithed Sprague–Dawley rat; catecholamine release by peripheral sympathetic nerve endings; and the N-type Ca2+ channels of cultured neural cells. Intravenous Mg2+ infusion (MgSO4: 3×10−6 mol/kg body weight/min) induced the greater hypotensive response to hydralazine with attenuated reflex tachycardia in SHRs.

In pithed rats, Mg2+ infusion significantly attenuated the blood pressure elevation (2±2 mm Hg versus 27±6 mm Hg, P<0.01) in response to spinal electrical stimulation. In the perfused mesenteric arteries system, norepinephrine release was significantly attenuated (51±2%, P<0.01) by high Mg2+concentration solution (4.8 mmol/L) compared with normal Mg2+solution (1.2 mmol/L). When we applied the perforated whole-cell patch clamp method to nerve growth factor-treated PC12 cells, Mg2+ blocked voltage-gated Ca2+ currents in a concentration-dependent manner. The majority of the voltage-gated Ca2+currents were carried through N-type channels, followed by l-type channels. Mg2+ blocked both of these channels. These findings suggest that Mg2+ blocks mainly N-type Ca2+ channels at nerve endings, and thus inhibits norepinephrine release, which decreases blood pressure independent of its direct vasodilating action."

3. @Nina, Hyperhidrosis?

3. @Nina, Hyperhidrosis?

Makes sense. When I asked him the same question, that is what he told me. But mag for me kills adrenaline too much I feel sluggish and tired.

YEAH.... I don't love love Mg... BUT it does help... and I kind of don't want it but for me helps digestion in morning and also helps bruxism (zero coffee, etc... still clench jaw a bit). .. probably residual stim affects....

FINE I'll be smart later, and balance for now.... fuck. I'll avoid choline, coffee, and inhalers, and dex.......... until tei is notably tolerated by me (which it should be minus some headaches, digestion changes, maybe urology, maybe other pains like facial,...)... I don't think it will kill me at all mostly (TEI)... I do change mind a lot though, tbh.

Right now, I probably wouldn't take Mg except if I started clenching a lot... but it makes more sense to buy a nightguard (mouthguard).

WE do need NE somewhat -- it's huge for motivational kick... and getting shyt done. TOO much is bad obviously... none... well that's awfully lackadaisical for my taste.
Although I do have TONS of energy... just need to utilize it pareto-optimally.

Wed at 10.12pm
Just buy a myster/spray water... I'm lucky now, it's only 4 to 0 degrees, almost perfect for me. I talked to Barbaar... awesome temps there, not too cold... not too hot. I like minus 18 to +7 or so. +17 is ok too...

Freezing showers @Nina.
La Roche Posay Hydrasense. One has Zinc... not sure why.

TEI. -- exhaustion phase, slow 1.

It's weird I have many many hyperthyroid like issues but came out a slow 1... but yeah... I train a ton, and for sure have predisposition to gain weight, but never really did after 16 outside of these 2 abominations (Effexor and FIn... and seroquel too I'm sure but that was while on and probably because of Effexor (and only days to weeks)).

Magnesium makes me sluggish aswell, the sweating is really annoying though.

Been feeling really sluggish lately. I decided to completely quit caffeine and i’ve been feeling like shit ever since. Im having hot flashes and night sweats, severe headaches (almost migraine like) and am feeling very very tired sleeping most of the day. Feel like i have a fever aswell.

Might start a fast soon just to clear my system a bit.

I SWEAT LIKE A NERVOUS WHORE AT HER FIRST DUO, after EFFEXOR and likely ACCUTANE. THEN COLD AND CLAMMY LIKE AN ABUSED WHORE AFTER FIN.
NOW NORMAL WHORE MODE / end analogy.
