The B complex I'm taking contains:

B1 (thiamine HCl) - 22mg
B2 (riboflavin-5-phosphate) - 28mg
B3 (niacinamide) - 80mg
B5 (calcium-d-pantothenate) - 60mg
B6 (pyridoxal-5-phosphate) - 14mg
Folate (5-MTHF glucosamine salt, quatrefolic) - 400mcg
B12 (50% methylcobalamine, 50% adenosylcobalamine) - 250mcg
Biotin - 200mcg
Choline bitartrate - 100mg
Inositol - 50mg
PABA - 20mg

So from all these B2, B6, B12 and folate are in their active forms. Not sure if that's good or bad.

The dosages are much lower than what for example @Orion is taking. Office of Dietary Supplements - Riboflavin here it says your body won't absorb much beyond 27mg b2 from a single dose, so are high doses really necessary/useful?

What are you currently taking @IHateFin ? (And do you feel it made a difference?)

right now I am keeping it simple; bcomplex and 50mg nonactivated b6

when I get constipated ill take 1.2g of potassium and when I get sniffely ill take 300mg of histidine. other than that im just watching more n more unfold after var

the b's make a big diff in energy and the potassium and histidine immediately reverse what I need them for (constipation and allergy like symptoms)

Does the bcomplex has the same quantities as Barbaar is mentioning?

I don't have any of the studies to link, so anecdotal from what I have read and seen posted across forums. B1 and B2 need to be heavily saturated in the body to get out of deficiency, and it takes a long time for both. Over a gram of each, and especially after accutane.

I'll just run this for at least a month and if nothing happens I will up the B1 and B2

-1. Despite the sections like RAOBJ, REDDIT is super sketchy so don't go there.
-2. Read this tho, and ignore the rest on there, but this foolio is mostly right I think. I skimmed it... but it's a bs site, Your Brain on Porn is a Decent book vis a vis nofap.
-3. Also various books on that thread I uploaded a list of mental health books (I've read all of them).

Awwww yeah that was fast. Got my B2 and cortisol tests. Cortisol looks ok but b2 (riboflavin) looks to be super low @Helen

cortisolb2-edited.png

I later realized I may have messed up the cortisol tests by having a cup of coffee around 9am that morning, but I'm not sure how much that would affect the result.

Usually , slow oxidizer has low cortisol .

Yeah, 1.3 is very low for b2. Almost non existant, just like in talkingant case. Interesting.

Should I get cortisol tested again, at a different time in the day? Although neither my saliva or blood cortisol is out of range. Maybe cortisol isn't a big problem for me?

Maybe I shifted to a different oxidation state, my ARL hairtest is quite old already.

My new TEI hairtest should be here within a few weeks.

Well your cortisol is on the low side anyway. If you did not drink coffee would have been even lower probably.

I think , this has to do with bile clearance. probably. no b2 , body does not clear estrogenic side, and this causes calcium absorption , when it is not needed.

And thus progesterone goes up to retain extra potassium. Since calcium blocks it.

You see your body is dumping sodium like crazy, and holding on to potassium a lot. if you look at your urine.

@barbaar Also it is dumping calcium also. Makes sense.

also it could be that your reverse t3 is high. Have you tested this?

I think something is up with my bile for sure. Light colored stools, not the best digestion, etc.

So.. liver flushes? It's like I'm evolving towards the electrolyte protocol :)

LOL, everyone will evolve into it. Especially the PFS part of it.

It is just people are lazy and dont have the discipline to take stuff.

they would rather take some drug or steroid, then to feed themselves what they really need.

Interesting topic and I wonder what you think about this Helen. I would echo @barbaar that I tend to have some digestive issues - usually pretty light colored stools. Also seem to have pain in the liver area that is only relieved once I have had a bowel movement. However, for the last week I have started eating spinach salads with chicken and notice it is almost like a vibration then relief feel in my liver area. Also, coffee is not negatively impacting me as much as it has in the past (too jittery, etc.), other than the fact it makes me pass a large size bowel movement. I was trying to figure out what was going on, then stumbled upon this article.

Here’s why coffee makes you poop

What I found curious was this paragraph.

"It's possible that the acidity of coffee is the key: Coffee has a compound called chlorogenic acid that triggers higher stomach acid levels and also higher production of gastric acid. It could be that the overall acidity bump makes the stomach dump its contents out more quickly than usual. Something in coffee may also trigger the release of hormones that aid digestion, which would speed up bowel movements. But it's not clear which of the hundreds of chemicals found in a cup of coffee are responsible for that boost."

Alright, I'm going to start a little experiment with sodium loading, since I'm losing it in my urine like crazy. I will be keeping an eye on my blood pressure too since it is high already. Would be funny to see it go down with higher sodium intake though, because apparently there is a J-curve relationship between sodium intake and blood pressure.

Today my blood pressure is: 160/96 (wtf even higher than last time)
I'll start by drinking 5g of NaCL (kitchen salt) dissolved in clean tap water. I will raise this over time if blood pressure doesn't increase to dangerous levels.

@Helen ))
