You are trying dut? Did you ever get bloods post RU yet?

Lol I don’t think he’s tried it yet.

Don’t touch it anytime soon @jinstewart - wait at least a couple months and let this experiment run it’s course. Move to health based treatments now. Exercise, diet, and maybe do some juicing to get some extra nutrients.

Hi all! Nonono, not ordering up a lifetime supply of dut just yet. Want to see how the weaning off goes over the coming months or years even. Just curious.

Currently still on my RU plan fwiw. Waiting and, well, waiting! :) I'll update that thread when DHT results get in but improvements holding for now, rash completely fully gone.

Update:
I’ve been on avodart 1 drop ( 12drops in caplet) for a while now. I would say I feel 95-100% normal in every respect. This is a huge relief!! I don’t really feel like trying to go off this. I’m actually paranoid to stop. I’d hate to go back to pfs state. I may change my mind but wanted to mention this bc I think some guys might be waiting for me to report back after I go off. I know some say it’s a stilt but if avodart/ fin caused an epigenetic change in your system) , maybe for some guys it’s the only way to be normal again ( for now until we know more).
Anyway, I wanted to make it clear that I think this protocol can work. I developed pfs around Jan 2017, and in dec 2017 I tried avodart like two small doses ( felt a little better) then I was so freaked out about it, worried I even touched to caplets, that I stopped. The point is, I didn’t know it could work and I wasted another year and half. So I’m just putting it out there that this protocol could work for some. But we all know there’s risk and it can potentially ( I guess) make you worse so be careful if you are considering it!

Nice dude. I don't think it is a bad option for some at all. If you function well and willing to keep taking it, do it.

Jack17, could you do us a favor and test all your hormones now.

like progesterone, estrogen, DHT test, prolactin, etc. , SHBG

cortisol, CBG

Also active vitamin D - 1.25D , ceruloplamin and copper in blood.

Of course if this is not expensive where you are.

that would be very helpful.

Congrats if you can stay on this without changes. I am happy for you. Your experiment gave us a lot of info.

Good to hear. Technically that is how fin/dut are supposed to "work" in a sense to balance your hormones to get your hair back. (without sides).

How is your hair now? and it seems your sides are pretty much gone which is how fin/dut is supposed to work in theory but is way overdosed....

yeah, as we spoke with you from the start, it is way overdosed. and people dont get tested. then suffer.

I hope it lasts for him and does not move.

Hair is good. So even at this very small dose, it has a good effect on hair.

I started this in January with low dose fin then changed to avodart in February. I started feeling better right away. Changing dosing I would feel not as good if I dosed too early or too late. Been feeling 90%+ better past three months and close to 100% past 2 months.

Nice, What are the remaining symptoms that is blocking you from saying 100% better at this point?

couple things...I still get a slight drop off if I don't dose correctly but it's not as significant as a couple months ago. What I mean is previously I might dose too closely and then be a little suppressed for 2 days. I can feel a little drop off after 3 days and I've been dosing about every 3-4 days. I think as more time pass ( and I realize the long half life shouldn't make a difference but it does. There might be some sort of steady state dosing that that we don't understand. Another example.: I was dosing 2 drops every 9-10 days and now 1 drop every 3-4 seems smoother and I notice less fluctuation.) I know it's been said that you might have to keep increasing dose to get effect but it doesn't seem like that. I am still taking such a small dose and I have increased frequency but really the difference is so small. It's still less capsule a month. And prior to PFS I had super high libido 24x7. Now I have good libido but not as big a deal if not having sex every night with my wife and previously I would get irritable if not, if you know what I mean. And this whole damn thing has caused a change in our marriage. My wife really didn't understand it and felt rejected from it. ( personal stuff sorry!) But I am extremely happy to have followed this protocol. I've been here with you guys since like May 2017. I've tried everything. EVERYTHING!! I've spent so much money on supplements and 100's of hours on message boards looking for answers.
Couple more items. I think high DHT level might be the reason I responded, idk. So if someone has a lower DHT I would be careful considering this. The couple times I checked DHT level ( PFS level 85 ) around 60's seems to make me feel normal. I take Vitamin D3 gummy vit's every couple days just because. I started this with SAM e and not sure if that helped. I think Avodart might be a better option than fin for this protocol. Regarding dosing, I would take one drop ( I put in a gel caps bought on Amazon) and dose every 2 weeks and then slowly and carefully decrease the duration of frequency. This protocol is different than guys trying something to change some sort of switch and stop and you are cured. Like I said before, I think this stuff (fin/ avodart) changed me ( us) and with out micro dosing of Avodart ( at least for me) androgen receptors or whatever NOS doesn't work. I remember from the study results they did describe an epigenetic change that occurs. You are different from the drug. So you can wait for this change to go back to normal with time or supplements and it dose for some or take a risk. I am not telling anyone they should do this and your risk profile has to be balanced with how bad/ life changing this has made you to consider it (IMO)

Hate to say it, but as a last resort, I will try... I'm months out of being off what I'm doing now and I've made such progress but still, things are missing here & there...

but this makes the most sense out of all...
