We can keep it private for now, however even the short time that it was public, I have gotten many PM's on other sites of people changing their mind about Gbol's theories as well as other people's theories here. Meaning it demonstrates credibility that this is more than just talk or discussions here and these concepts are being put into the real world with results. And I'm talking people that I never thought would even consider changing their mind so it does have a positive impact just by simply displaying the logs.
So for now, they will be private, however this COULD change.

one thing with the recent site change is that I can't seem to look back at peoples older posts... latest posts only.
I missed a couples days reading so didn't get to see what some people i follow have said 3 days ago or so.
is there a way to see a users personal archive?
what about copying swole source format? seems a lot of sites use that exact same forum template...
ray peats is very very good but seems hard to replicate.

Why make it private?If anybody would really want our information,they could just as easy join this forum,or contact some of current members.All the while it will be harder for people with problems similar to others get started here.
Just really dont see any reason to do it,propecia help is terribly moderated,solvepfs still didnt confirm my registration in 3 weeks.Honeslty just starting right away here was easy and made me feel better.

Hey @stupidfreak There's some backstory here that might help you see our choice. As Tubzy said, we're aiming for more real world use cases with actual results. We're working to be different and, as you saw, your membership here was quick and easy (fyi, you also had to be confirmed here but we certainly have enough staff so it wasn't anywhere near 3 weeks)
Still, the difference between private and being able to join and read is somewhat negligible... whereas joining & posting is an additional step...
The short version of the backstory was that we came from another forum where we were essentially kicked out and 1000+ pages of data and knowledge were deleted on us. This was manly due to Gbolduev's alternative theories & our use of pharmaceuticals like RU... we also surmised since we weren't promoting the 1st party supplements, they weren't making any money. NO one would've kicked us out if they were making loot...
But I think some are public now anyhow... so this might be moot... but you're experience here matters so it's noted amongst us

Joe is right. Unfortunately there are a few people that are trying to sabotage this community because it doesn't fit their agenda and we have to keep some things private due to people like them. Sadly to say some people just don't get it and don't want to get better. I guess they are jealous or something? It is beyond me why people would want to do something that.
The funny thing is the same people hating are the same people here under different usernames asking questions and wanting advice, which I have caught numerous times.
Solve PFS is a joke dude, that place is horrible especially if you are in a bad mental state already. It is maybe like a half a step up from PH.

Low i.q. coupled with "miserable people love miserable company" so they can commiserate. Some there are pretty smart I think, but too logical given our illogical condition, so there's no use. Nothing wrong with support, but if everyone is not even trying and believes no one gets better, and that infects our minds,
then yeah we'd all be screwed. This is a much better environment for sure. Jealousy too, if you ever have quit drinking (for example) around your hard drinking friends, you'll quickly realize who your real friends are and who was there just to party. Some people don't like others that better themselves, because they feel "left behind." (re: PH and Solvepfs).
-Dogma/Agenda also..... re: raypeat. I only posted on one of those. One of them was super scary.

Hey guys, I just joined recently so I have no idea about these old forums and the trouble you encountered there, also I know atleast a bit about all of you that you are all good people so I know you ll all take the right decisions.
Now I dont know what you mean by going private ( I am assuming it means that guests cannot view posts/threads), but I know if I hadn't found this forum back in December end I would be in much much much much more despair than I am right now, and I am heavily depressed right now. There might be other people like me who are also searching for any rope to hang to, so please consider making the posts visible.
We also have to consider the fact that this forum isn't like others. Many (most?) of us here are experiencing life on the lowest side of the spectrum, obviously people here will be desperate for any help. ( like me haha), so you experienced guys will have to be patient even though you aren't obliged to.
If this is something else entirely please forgive me lol I have no idea about these old forums and the politics there.

No more private than now, and what went "for members only" are logs, as they are places where you can write personal things. Thus we know who is reading.
The rest is public and was never thought to be kept closed.
How do you find the balance between help and privacy? Does it seems ok like this if you have a log?

We were referring to "private" as some sections not being available unless you are a member registered on the forum. Although, we also did consider making the entire forum private before as suggested by a few members, but for now I decided against it.
Glad you found it though and are improving though! I'm surprised you found it so easily, this site is barely has been "marketed" (I haven't done really anything to promote, maybe a little here and there) so many members found out via "word of mouth" basically.
