It's interesting you mention the difference between CSF and blood plasma because I have been wondering why we don't all try and test our CSF neurosterid levels. Is it possible to do so with a lumbar puncture?

Would someone explain the idea behind high dose progesterone? Got the theory with Ru & prog but not too sure about the aim of this approach.

I think the idea is that we have high progesterone and low progesterone receptor density. Ru is a progesterone antagonist so it blocks/clears progesterone around the receptor. This is hopefully going to resensitise the progesterone receptors and possibly increase their density. However, once...
