I have to agree with this. I don’t understand how balancing minerals is going to reverse ssri induced damage. There are lots of people with mineral imbalances that don’t have our symptoms.
Also, a drug permanently put us in this state. What’s to say another Med couldn’t put us in a better permanent state. My situation has been so extreme that I highly doubt mineral balancing is going to have a profound effect. If anyone cares to know more about what I’ve been trying (insulin) I just posted a thread on it.
You underestimate minerals and overestimate "medication". Medication is not special/magic. It is often a chemical based on a natural compound/structure. For example bio-identical hormones (natural compound) and Finasteride (medication).
You see what happens when you use medication. You fix one thing and create another problem because you are not changing/influencing the big picture. Often you are feeding something at the end of the chain. You are focussing on a small part of the picture with medication.
Minerals (& vitamins) influence all the processes including hormones, enzymes, etc.
There is more than 1 way to Rome as you can see. Some people get better from hormones others don't get better from that at all.
Do whatever you want but you do not understand how and why mineral balancing can work. If you never tried it you should not bash it. TRY IT and then come back to the forums and tell us how it went. Then people can get closer to what works and what not.
For this topic people can try the steroids that you lose with PFS which is a new approach.
Anyways let's go back to the topic.
