yeah man the libido stayed for the entire 8 months so even when i was just on test only. It sounds like you have low testosterone. Now that im off steroids i feel like **** too like you described but i abused them and am gonna take like 8-12 months to recover from.

If i were you I would run 500mg Testosterone Enanthate ( 2x 1ml shots per week) for 6 weeks. Then come off and you wont even really need PCT

wait so you had normal/good libido for 8 months post accutane???!!

So to confirm, there are 3 people online who have had low libido (sexual problems) from taking accutane who recovered sexually using FInasteride????

Additionally are there any reasons for any of these people to be lying? or exaggerating? (I can't see why they would, unless its to try and sell Dr. Pezzis book?).

And the major theory surrounding why FIN would work, is related to its progestin activity? Are there any other reasons? Could FIN be doing anything else in the body?

Any updates from people trying FIN. Any other PAS people considering trying it? Spoke to one of the guys who recovered from it, he's convinced it helped a lot with sexual sides etc.

I'll give you an update, i just got 90 caps of dutasteride 0.15mg (specifically dosed for hairloss) from a hairloss clinic. I have an appointment next week with a urologist for a second opinion, but i'm planning to take the dutasteride unless the urologist gives me a red flag. I'll update next week whether i have started the treatment or not.

Yes i am, sexual sides started in the third week and never subsided. No other persisting sides though

Dasjes, out of interest. Have you noticed any other significant sides with sexual sides such as:

1. Anhedonia (inability to experience pleasure from normally pleasurable things)
2. social isolation / avoidance of social things / social anxiety
3. Depression
4. loss of motivation / drive

It's just useful to get a confirmation of any of these if any, as helps to get more information about sexual sides.

Lastly, I would strongly advise you try Finasteride rather than Dustasteride. I say this because given Dustasterides ability to affect more types of 5 alpha reductase enzymes than FIN, it will increase your chance of side effects. Also all recovery cases have involved in Finasteride and not dustasteride.

Good luck brother. Please keep us updated, whether results are positive or negative.

within 4 days of taking Test Enanthate 250mg and Superdrol 20mg everyday my libido was roaring

The funny thing is that my first cycle was superdrol 20mg back when I was 18 and that is what gave me hyperandro symptoms like my DHT was through roof and insane libido which led to hair loss which lead to taking fin. I did a superdrol only cycle however, no test. It seems like test causes low potassium according to @gbolduev

No news from Namelk. Is there anyone else who is trying Finasteride as a treatment? Or considering it?

Sorry for not saying anything these days, I was tight on the service, so I decided to take finasteride for longer, I'm taking I think it's already about 35 days, I'm keeping 5 mg, I'm thinking if I'm going to take 2 months or 3, and then go down for a few days and stop, I'm trying to take more time now, let's see if something happens

Careful, man dutasteride has a halflife of 6 weeks as opposed to finasteride which is merely 8 hours.

Although I have read 1 persons blog once whom cured their PFS from dutasteride so hey it may work better

Half life shouldnt even matter,i think. It still, dies, right? But leaves all enzymes bad(potentially).Whats more scary is that it inhibits up to 98% of dht, compared to 60% with fin.

Are you talking about justquitdut? You think it matter what we have took?

Well I would assume halflife matter since it will affect how long it takes to feel better. 2 weeks after dropping fin you feel better right away until you crash so who knows how that works with something that stays in the system for weeks slowly eliminating instead of rapidly.

I honestly have no clue what the guys name was haha
It was on a random blog site n he took dutasteride and some antibiotic together that he claimed cured him

Even if half-life did not matter, duta blocks 5ar-1 and 5ar-2 which I'm sure you've read up on. Seems crazy dangerous to those with PFS. Post-accutane? I don't know.
Not to sound negative, I'm just saying @Dasjes please be careful. Can you get fin instead or have you already tried that?

@SF I don't think that was JQD... he claimed many recoveries, and I think he was legit (despite his eccentric and erratic posting). It's just he was propped up pharmacologically (TRT, thyroid meds, etc).
