@IHateFin @BeLikeWater @joekool @Boris @Niles @bruschi11 as we know by the latest FIn studies, fin overmethylates the histone and DNA of the n termninal of the AR, and GR.
With anavar studies we know that anavar does not block cortisol receptor. But it kills cortisol signaling,( on transcriptional level) . SO it could be effecting those methylation parts of the receptor. NOT the BINDING PART. mainly cortisol.
Also we know that anavar is 17 alpha alkylated steroid. which is detoxed with UDP glucuronyl transferase, SO it puts pressure on that enzyme, possibly upregulating it. and downregulating beta glucuronidase. ( which we know that 3a-agiol G levels is low in PFS, so it could be good)
We had 10 trials of anavar now.@Ihatefin ,@Boris @talkingant( long trial) . Tubzy did 3 weeks, and then 2d cycle. Ihate fin did 2 weeks, and now second cycle. talkingant did 2 weeks cycle( PSSD) . @BeLikeWater also did a cycle.( I dont remember how long) 2 weeks I think
@Chapman He did 2 week anavar cycle. Says it improved his stress tolerance.
@Jack17 , @brix , and several other people. Short cycles 5 days, 3 days. Jack17 had a dirty trial since he started progesterone right after var.
I am not sure if we consider these trial results.
Also I had about 5 guys on the russian forums try it. they cycled it for 1.5 month( major improvements on cycle) some of it stuck.( not major)
Also @gaivs tried anavar for 2 weeks. I wonder what happened to him. I think he got the improvement, I wonder if any of them stuck
As far as improvements on var.
@Boris felt amazing on var. on the first cycle. did not want even to quit. I was in touch with him daily, we also tested all the bloods on var. You could see in Tubzy anavar thread. @BeLikeWater you can see his cortisol there. after 3 weeks of var.
Then he went on var for the second cycle. Which he did not feel that good anymore on. When he tested the hairtest ,his oxidation rate went down a lot. and this could be the reason he did not feel that great on that second cycle.
As far as improvements, it did not solve his problems. I would say pretty much to square one. Correct me if I am wrong.
@IHateFin had the biggest improvements, Although he felt exactly the same on the cycle as Tubzy. But he never tested blood or hair, so we don't know what body chemistry he was in. It looks like the slower the oxidation of the person, the worse they feel on var.
But he takes all kinds of stuff after var. like potassium b vitamins, etc. histidine ( please see this post https://hackstasis.com/threads/epig...nd-explanation-of-demethylating-enzymes.1402/)
So the part of him taking epigenetic stuff after var could help him more than others.
@talkingant Felt a little bit better while on var. back to square one after var. with pretty much zero improvement. He has all the tests, and he is an extremely slow oxidizer. ( PSSD)
@Dillongs94( discord) cycled Var for more than 2 weeks. Did not feel anything on the cycle(PSSD)
@BeLikeWater Did his cycle, ( 2 weeks) I think got some mental improvement. But it is very hard to judge his improvement or lack of them. Says he can handle stress better.
He has no tests, and thus we dont really know what oxidation he is in, but he reacted totally different from Tubzy or Ihatefin to cortisol blocking.
As far as I could tell did not do anything for his sexual functioning.
@Chapman Same results as Belikewater. ( he is a slow oxidizer on the test , so the results match out previous slow oxidizer people)
As Tubzy and Ihatefin loved cortisol blocking, and experience increased libido and everything else on it. Belikewater was the opposite, he felt not that good on the cycle, with zero libido.
@gaivs Please respond with an update what var did and did not do to you. Since you have been off of it now for a while.
Guys who try this route, I understand that you get excited when you feel great on var on cycle( for some people) but please we need to understand if this works or not OFF cycle. And so far we have very confusing data.
If according to the recent studies AR and GR overmethylated, it is understandable that some people will feel good on var, since it does something to the transcriptional part of the AR and GR.( blocks that part) But our goal is to see if this doing something sticks.
Some fast oxidizers lower their oxidation rate with var, and feel better. since it is less work for cortisol progesterone etc. But we need to understand if anavar cures or not, not just improves some things.
Another possibility may be people need much longer Var cycles like 6 months( like those used in protein wasting disorders) always use testosterone with it. or HCG since var will suppress you.
A note of caution also. VAR is 17alkylated steroid. After 1 cycle Tubzy already had high liver enzymes since in PFS people have major problems with the liver
So for those who try it keep the dosages LOW.
