yeah, and if you take HCL you might feel worse , since you could be stuck in resp acidosis. YOu see I was taking about alkalosis , usually alkalosis and resp acidosis are together. SO which one is primary who knows.

this is why if you take hydrogen, you will force the body to get rid of acetylcholine. And if you take lets say bicarbonate, you will force the body to retain Co2.

Since many people have high bicarb and high Co2. in normal life. means that there is something wrong with the nervous system. Which cant get out of parasympathetic state.

Helen, this part has been bugging me. Can't manage to grasp it with the info that's out there. Reading all your posts and the info I can find, it seems like I am stuck in respiratoire acidosis as well. I also have asthma, experience breathing shocks whenever I touch hormones or hydrogen water.

I know ARL might correct this, as might hydrogen water, but is betaine HCL, which is really a cornerstone of getting balanced, safe to use in this state? It usually brings my mood and libido down, so it looks like I am not responding all that great to it, either.

Just torn on that part :)

You dont have to use HCL and it is not for everyone. the cornerstone is to figure your your problem and your acidity and fix it.

Meaning ARL-route and stuff like hydrogen water? Not sure how else I could fix resp acidosis. Internet is not giving me any answers on this.

Shocks are gone, but had another sleepless night last night. This time just a constant low level cortisol/adrenaline feeling keeping me awake.

Here too, shocks are gone(for now at least), but my sleep is completely broken.

Heh. Same here. Shocks are subsided but sleep is off now. Wake up around 3AM and again about an hour before my alarm goes off. I think hydrogen is partly to blame.

It's awful. I dont think it's the hydrogen water causing it either since it doesn't seem to give me that much energy anymore

I dont think its H2 fault too, I read some logs at SA an people seem to get if some months after ssri discontinuation, I found some things in common:

Shocks while trying to fall asleep
Anxiety and feelinf of dread
Suicidal thoughts
Insomnia(sleep broken in pieces)
Weird body sensations like numbness, pins and needles, electric feelings, hot and cold
Muscle aches

A woman with this discovered high AM cortisol, she had windows and waves of insomnia, feeling of dread, weird body sensations, despersonalization, anhedonia until all resolved.

I experience all of this! Iv been having some windows where my anhedonia felt better, I even felt that good anxiety that you have when you are waiting for something good. They are short but started to appear! It is like a switch, one time wanting to day, right before, waiting for the best and even laughing... WTF is going on?

I've been off SSRI's for like 2.5 years, it would be weird if insomnia decided to turn up to 11 just now right?

I did feel unusually hot and cold (in cycles) yesterday night... Thought I might be getting sick. But besides being tired af right now I don't feel bad necessarily.

Tardive symptoms, I dont understand how. This crap got me at 1yr off, the woman was 8 months off. I think that I developed mild akathisia, I can feel my body vibrating inside since the event...

Ughhhhh another night of laying awake until 6 in the morning. Other than that, hydrogen seems to keep me going at least. I'm definitely noticing the lack of sleep but it would have been much much worse without it.

Thinking of taking a break from hydrogen water to see if that helps me fall asleep more easily. But I don't have time to have no energy now because of exams and stuff. >_>

That sucks man. I think I'm going to try some magnesium + glycine tonight. I really need some sleep, so much to do and brain no worky.

I ordered Glycine, but I will need to wait... will see if I can buy Taurine here in a local store too. Magnesium did nothing for me.
The women that Ive mentioned got some reflief with Seriphos(dont know what it is), Melanotnin 1mg(Im afraid of using it) and Ginseng

Im feeling the effects too... If I could sleep at least 4h I would be happy

Did you try salt, with it.

Haven't tried it yet, I can add some salt if you think it would be helpful. Got some nice unprocessed pink himalaya salt I can use.

Same. I tried some OTC sleep stuff (diphenhydramine) but it didn't help at all.
