@Shadow Hmm I should find a doc like that. I'll ask around.

Just don't go to a GP/Family doc. They are the worst. Go see an internist or an internist with a sub-specialty like endocrinology.

Do you need a referral from your GP to do that in Canada?

Typically, yes. That is the only thing I use my GP for. Just politely tell them you would like a referral and provide the reason, and if they push back and get aggressive just tell them you're not leaving until you get one. If that doesn't work, go see another GP.

Sometimes you can directly contact an internist and get an appointment with them, but for sub-specialties you almost always need a referral.

Bit disappointing to see the results did not stick. Makes me wonder if your prog levels would be up (again)?
Maybe it needs more time. Any plans of trying it again in the future?

Yeah, I hoped so much this would be the magic fix. Anyways, I read the @gbolduev deleted pfs thread and found he said the snapback could take up to two months. I can't find the exact quote though, so I'm not 100% sure. Maybe it needs more time.

I also went in completely blind, I don't even know what was going on with my progresterone, or anything else for that matter. I'm going to see if I can get some blood and hair tests done to get a better picture.

Hey man you're on the right track. I believe lowering prog and increasing estrogen and DHT are key since fin and sawP will bind to progesterone receptors n lower estrogen and DHT so I feel doing the exact inverse is what's needed to train our bodies to keep DHT the raining champ.

You could always try a 5 to 10mg ru486 dose. No one has tried this on Thur forum yet, but according to the literature is more than enough to plumit prog.

So which protocol will you start now the ACE has arrived? Think we shouldnt forget how ella/RU helped people but often did not stick. Still seems like a promissing route

I'm currently taking inositol, I started two days ago and want to go at least a week before I jump on my second cycle of Ella. I also plan to combine Ella with licorice root this time.

Im actually planning to do the same (minus Licorice root). If it doesnt stick i might recycle but with cofactors plus licorice root

You ever had windows with other stuff?

Not really. I was seeing some very very slow improvements with crocus sativus extract which I took everyday for like half a year, mostly in the depersonalization department. I was a total zombie, completely disconnected from everything that was "me". I'm really glad that's mostly behind me now. Hardly any improvements libido wise though, that's my main problem now. That and sensitivity.

It's hard to say for sure but I think I've been slowly improving ever since my first round of Ella. Maybe my alkalosis got reduced or fixed and my body has started to retain the minerals it needs to fix itself again?

Nice that you are seeing improvements!! pete took several months to recover after he started to feel improvements, I like to use him as a reference because his recovery was like turning something on and the body did the rest to full recover.

Yeah i have the feeling im improving slowely too. Emotions are coming back, energy is still low and so is libido. But the big change is i recognise my pre-pssd irritations again, which were gone for 2 years...

Right?! I'm starting to regain my ability to be annoyed too :D

Too bad my anxiety seems to be returning bit by bit too. I even got a few days where my thoughts were constantly super negative again. That would be a total bitch. Fix pssd, slip back into depression. I really hope that's not the case, but I think Ghost noticed something like this too (in other people who got fixed iirc).

Yeah i have a bit of anxiety too, not always on moments i expect. Like it comes up too slow and goes down too slow. Its not super bad, but i couldnt get nervous at all before, now i can be a bit.

Return of anxiety usually happens when function is better. It's sad, but I'm just fighting one battle at a time. If I can figure out PSSD, then I'm on to the next battle: Mental Health.

Likewise, if I treat mental health, I think I have a better chance of fighting PSSD.

Thanks man, that's pretty amazing stuff. I wonder how different my case would be, considering an SNRI (Pristiq) caused my issues.

I believe thats it is very simular to effexor right? Effecor acts as an ssri on low dosage and snri on higher dosage, making it plausible to have the same issues as pssd
