I use BPI-500 tinted glasses. You can get at a lot of opticians I’m sure.

Applications for Colored Lenses

I like the 500 tint. It’s like an orangish tint. 550 was too much for me that was red.

-Saw this old eye doctor. Rite after moving and Fin destruction. Didn't want to but mentioned to him vision changed after Fin. He said it was unlikely yada yada yada.
I enquired about eye surgery. Apparently my eye with great vision had the scar on it. I thought it was my other (less precise eye). I asked about laser surgery, he said it can still change. I thought he was just old and or trolling me because I asked a question, suggesting that 'God Forbid' a medication hurt me and my eyes.

I think he's the same jerkoff who asked me if I was plucking my eyelashes (I was 14 and definitely not, I did rub eyes a lot - allergies / also a habit, not now tho usually). I was like no wtf are you talking about. Seems he could have been correct about not getting surgery there. Besides, I don't want surgery anyways, and maybe it ruins appearance of eyes or something. And I'd have to confirm I can get it done in the less strong-vision-eye. --- Just do one, fine enough. I only wore one eye contact usually (it was a bitch putting them on and I was always running late anyways).

WHen I have more money to throw around I will buy some of those glasses @Bruschi.

Using night shift app on my phone helped me fall asleep after PFS gave me insomnia (never had the problem before tho)

I just took one from Helen and started throwing my phones far away. 1/2 laptops is inside a glass vase that I hid. Near a bunch of vodka, a matchlock, and some opium.
But my phone I throw away several hrs before going to bed. I check my communications 10mins early in the morning or at nite. And I stopped any trades on phone (screw it, computer is a way bigger screen). I do look at my agenda on there, but trying to use paper planner more bc the most important major things I wrote on there or notepad (writewroom, Mac).

I use blue light filter glasses, but I got these $8 ones and they work fine. I notice I am more tired and fall asleep more quickly if I wear them for the last 2 hours or so before bed. I also used blue filter apps but that isnt as good as wearing the glasses.

I actually recently downloaded an app, Twilight, on my phone that filters the blue light out. I myself don't notice much difference, but I'm a 90's baby, I grew up with this shit. At this point, blue light probably has a calming effect on me cause I've learned to live with it for so long.

Anyways, decided to do it so that if I look at it in the late night hours it doesn't effect my sleep. Who knows, won't hurt

Thanks guys. I will prob pick up a pair of glasses as I sit with multiple monitors at once during the day and even worse at night right before bed.

I’ve been using Gunnar Optiks glasses at work here the last few weeks and I can tell a huge difference. Dry eye fading away, no more eye strain headaches. World of difference.

Working in cyber, I should’ve done this years ago. Naturally now that I’m less daily tech and more strategy, I decide to give it a try....no excuse.

What shade of lens do you use, does it matter, are certain color more effective? I was thinking these
Computer Eye Strain Glasses | Aviator Glasses | Maverick - GUNNAR

I use the Amber lens, as to whether or not it matters I am not sure. I also don’t have the prescription ones either as I wear contacts daily.

There’s a good read here though: Lens Tint Options | Blue Light Blocking Lenses - GUNNAR

I have the Intercept model, no Rx, in amber.

I got the mavericks liquet, no RX and used them the entire day yesterday 8+ hours in front of multiple bright screens. It actually does work, zero eye strain, actually quite surprised, will definitely wear them all the time now. Its kind of odd when I get done off the computer it just feels like I have been looking at nothing the entire past 8 hours lol.

Not sure how I missed this, but yeah man they’re great. I use them at home at night, and sleep is much better too. My eyes seem to actually tell me when I’m tired instead of feeling like sandpaper.
