so it's definitely not good to take HCL + enzymes daily for like 18mo straight? 1-2mo not bad?
And similarly like milk of magnesia, it's alright to take like a few days to a few weeks and it's ok but everyday it's bad, correct?

Well its more about quantity vs how long.. but like I was mentioning to @bruschi11 a good liver produces all the enzymes you need.. so I would focus on that goal.

So I try 1 enzyme pill and 2 hcl a day but it turns out to be 2 and 4 at times. sometimes a bit more. I eat once a day usually. I think like 600-1200mg HCl. Probably a lot in this brand (Biogest).

Yea, 4 is a lot of that size, just my opinion.

Maybe update the OP? And thanks so much for your ideas and help!

Sorry I missed this.. I prefer bimuno (GOS)
but people do fine with (fos)
Why you prefer that it comes from the dairy type, galacto?
we use psyllium powder and not the husk.. that can be harsh
I just checked…. and I bought the fiber! And I am fiber sensitive, I eat none of it since last year. So I really want to use the powder, as I prefer the RS than the irritation!

Oh for sure, cabbage juice will speed it up but just backing off will do it, and of course keep feeding your microbiome with the drink.. that's why we use psyllium powder and not the husk.. that can be harsh
I am going to give it back to the shop and look for the powder now… I am not constipated even while eating no fiber!

focused on the gut drink, and some liver support .. been good ever since
What liver support did you use?

BTW all my liver and pancreatic enzymes are good in blood test, is it enough to say that everything is ok there? My right side is globally congested and it does not seem the gall bladder. I eat lots of proteins in my carnivore diet, and TEI still tells me to eat more proteins and to take betain HCl, as my Phosphorus stays low!

I cycle Tudca, it work great at keeping the liver opened up..

doesn't tei come with a digestive aid? On arl we get gb3 which has black radish, ox bile and pancretin, the dosages are small, 100mg each, I'm not saying hci etc isn't important, I'm just saying it's easy to overdo it

I was prescribed only betaine HCl and then adrenal support and some minerals. Ma Cu.

My liver issue is prebirth from alcohols/chemicals, and then ...time! Slow détox, both 1 and 2 pathways. I know I have to start with solving the 2nd.

I did not know Tudca, now yes thanks! TUDCA Benefits: Linked to Bile, Liver, and Gut Health - Microbe Formulas™
looks great… what is the rythm you cycle it? Does it comes from bear bile?

Have you studied chinese medicine, you mention it as if you knew quite well how to interprete the tongue!

I'll just do a month or so and then back off for a month..

As for a TCM, I'm just a ham and egger. Never studied formally.. but I've done several hundred acupuncture treatments and learned some from asking a million questions. Lol

I always was associating SIBO with increased lower part of stomach, bloated look alike, but i guess it depends if there is methane gas presented already in the equation or not which gives that bloated look. Probably depends on the intensity of the SIBO how will look from outside and what symptoms will consist of.

I guess a person doesnt have to look bloated to have some form or to present SIBO to some degree, which should means way wider % of people should benefit and need to incorporate proper SIBO techniques to address their disbalances cause they might have SIBO w/o knowing it.

The white tongue coating should fall into that description as well i assume, either SIBO or form of candida overgrowth, esp if is present almost constantly and not necessarily being a lot and not even on whole tongue but only on the inner part of it.

In my experience if I stop eating gluten/grains like bread, pastry etc then the white tongue is gone within 3-4 days. If I re-start eating bread for example, then it comes back quickly.

Currently the only grains I eat is white rice which seems to cause no issues with white tongue

i keep the coating including with carnivore diet… There has to be different coatings. Mine is the color of what I eat! Blueberries give a better effect than coffee!

If i stop eating breath, rice, potatoes, pasta i start losing weight, plus idk why if i skip a day or two w/o breath my GI activity goes down, but i think the coating stays same no matter mentioned food, it just goes very noticeable when i add dairy: milk-yogurt and cheese. I eat mixed diet: everything, but not much green vegetables. Im not sure if there is an option of having zero coating. If i scrape it, stays clean for a day or two. When its cleaned, there are seen few longer taste receptors probably like tentacles, which are covered usually and need to pop up to work i guess. Thats back inner part of the tongue only. If i eat cherries for ex. it diminishes to zero and clears up changing color. I scrape it usually with a straw, but the far part of the tongue still holds coating and is never reached, cause start to gag, its too close to the throat.

I still have to solve something… because this link goes to HUSK poweder!
And no product is super clear about getting the 2, even those:
husk: Frontier Co-op Psyllium Husk Powder, Organic 1 lb - Frontier Co-op
and seed, but does it have the husk!
Frontier Co-op Psyllium Seed Powder, Organic 1 lb - Frontier Co-op
do we need the husk, or is the mucilage enough, from the seed?

@Ocguy I wrote and the answer was that they sell either the seed alone or the bran alone.

I have not seen ANY product that sell the whole stuff!
When they write "whole" it means it looks like bran, versus powder....

Am I right the powderr is going to be less harsh? Did you look at what they say about the mucilage from the seed? Have you used it?

I'm using the powder and it's great. I think it will be less harsh... how delicate is it digestive system? Maybe you will be ok

I've always used the powder.. husk powder is the powder... it's husk grinded up.
It is less harsh, and gives the microbes 2x more food per serving.. not sure about the seed

What about doing the protocol while fasting?

Most definitely, you get all the benefits of fasting without the negatives of your microbiome not getting fed. Your gut won't miss a beat when you're ready to eat.. lol

Sorry if I missed this anywhere @Ocguy, but is any sort of healing reaction expected on this in the beginning? I’ve been on it a few days alongside TEI now, was just curious what to be on the lookout for.

Nah, just some good farts for the first week or so. You are eliminating bad bugs but it's happening by removal not killing.. later when your microbiome is blooming you'll just fee better and better
