Anyone tried this?

I had high blood test results for prolactin (32 when normal upper range is 15)

.25 mg of cabergoline last saturday, tuesday, and today and I want to say numbness symptoms are 99% COMPLETELY cured after I have done this

They were at least 50-75% cured previously from other things but this cabergoline really fixed the rest of the lingering numbness and eradicated it completely

Some PSSD guys have been cured from pramipexole and cabergoline. Powerful drugs though. Have these benefits lasted @buffkin14?

i have tried this. back in the day (2 years ago) has some amazing temp sucess with it when my bloods showed i had prolactin at 29ng. it made me horny and shed hair, but i got sick and stupidly took antibiotics and all the magic was gone.

I keep taking it every tuesday and saturday

this week I upped to .50 mg and it is even better

the only downside is it makes you tired but I feel like my PSSD numbness is completely cured and libido is much higher

it has a half-life of like 70 hrs which is why you dont take it every day

over the weekend I felt like it was starting to fade slowly. still better than pre-cabergoline baseline but not as cured as it was

today though I am feeling better again, sort of in between

numbness stil gone, libido still higher than pre-cabergoline but not as high as the first couple weeks

over the weekend I feel like I was having trouble staying asleep after 3-4 hours

I think I have mild restless leg syndrome and I had no idea this is what it was called but it reminds me of when I first started getting PSSD symptoms. I believe I didn't know at the time but when I first got PSSD symptoms about a year ago, the first few months my earliest symptoms now can only be described as a sort of mild restless leg syndrome where i would wake up hours before i needed to and lay there trying to fall asleep and rubbing/moving my legs around restlessly

for this reason I am continuing the cabergoline because it seems to be helping but I also ordered some pramipexole so if it stops working i will switch to that

only thing that worried me was like 4 days ago my nipples were kinda sort, mostly the right one, which shouldnt happen if im on cabergoline that LOWERS prolactin right? but it hasnt been a problem much maybe it was just my shirt that i ran at the gym with irritated them with the sweat

Please keep us updated i am following this thread, i might try it in near future at 0.25 mg/week dose. cause my Prolactin levels were i think 13-14 on the higher end.
may be it is causing my penile numbness.
please tell me what do you mean by numbness? i mean when you touch your penis there is no/little feeling of touch or numbness as in absent brain-penis connection.
i have both kind of numbness.

numbness like there used to be less feeling of touch and like no sensitivity to temperature

st johns wort cured it about 50% months ago

but cabergoline cured it to like 95-99% first two weeks

it's fallen off a little but. those first two weeks i had incredible libido and great blood flow to penis with nocturnal/morning and random erections. these have sort of gone away again but not entirely. im still better off than i was pre-cabergoline

i believe it is hormone related though as I had at least twice the normal amount of prolactin. im not sure what happened these recent 2 weeks compared to the first 2 weeks that made the first 2 weeks seemingly cure me so much more than now

Sadly thats the case with multiple stuff; helps at first but effects wear off. Not sure why

Caber can be dangerous though - I'd only run it for about 3 weeks, then switch to Prami or Requip.
Don't wanna' run the risk of heart issues.
Caber, for me at least, gave me a weird side-effect, visual field issues and glare when looking into my periphery.
Very strange - never experienced anything like it before! My guess is the serotonin-properties cause the visual distortions. :)

isn't heart issues for higher doses like 1-2+ mg of cabergoline?
No it can happen simply with sustained usage...that's why I say limit it to a few weeks. I've never developed any heart problems (knock on wood) but to air on the side of caution - but I've never used for more than 3 weeks in a row!

Something to take into account: This is another example where there are huge gains, but only for 1-2 weeks. After that it is basically back to base level.
This happens during taking the substance (caber, SJW, whatever).
Not sure if this is also typical for PFS, but definately for PSSD. Maybe it helps somehow understanding what PSSD is.

SJW doesn't really do much for Prolactin though. At least not as immediately as Caber...there aren't a whole 'lot of studies on its endocrine effects.

True, my comment was more about temporalily effects in general with pssd.

SJW did not provide me the same cured feeling as Cabergoline, merely helped some with symptoms at first

Only other thing that gave me that feeling was when I first started histidine/cysteine but it only lasted a few days whereas Cabergoline lasted at least 2 weeks. And the histidine/cysteine did not feel as good as the Cabergoline

Cabergoline 2 week window gave me the best feeling I have had in over a year since I got PSSD

so are you back to square one, or holding a better baseline?

better baseline in terms of numbness/feeling

seemingly back to square one in terms of libido, semen volume, orgasm quality, morning/nocturnal wood, etc
