Chemical castration and pfs are incredibly similar, and reversible

I think hypogonadal, secondary or otherwise, means low hormones. So in this case if your hormone levels are normal but you have hypogonadal symptoms it's probably something to do with receptors, NO, or some other systemic dysregulation.

Like in my case, with T in the upper 400s, I'm not technically hypogonadal, yet I suffer from shrinkage. Upper 400s isn't an optimal level, but in a normal person it wouldn't make their dick shrink.

Yep, and I believe it's affecting ALL our receptors
For example, On a dry blood analysis Ive shown hypothyroid markers basically every time (for years now) despite keeping my t4 and free t3 levels in the perfect lab range.

that is because thyroid wont work without potassium.

On my hair test, potassium is at the Top of the chart.. along with sodium. Does that hold any significance in terms of having too much or too little? Blood potassium levels are fine btw.

can you post your hairtest? fast clean oxidizer you are?

Yeah after doing more research on this thing I'm surprised more haven't trialed it. Theres obviously risk with guys like us (esp when you consider trip is literally a castration drug) but it seems like it could really get things going for us. @health, if you wanna run a trial together I'd be up for it. I'm in a good place to do one now. 100mcg seems to be the rec, but we might want to start even smaller because of our already preexisting HPta issues. Anyone else down for an experiment? Obviously do your research and be healthy enough.

are you taking a thyroid medication?

Yes 50mcg t4 daily and occasionally some t3

I keep ft4 at 1.22 and ft3 at 3.2.

Which according to Dr Rinds thyroid scale is the sweet spot.. he ran thyroid on 100 high level athletes with zero thyroid issues and that was their avg

I run thyroid labs often along with cbc, but again every time I do a blood analysis the microsopists says my thyroid is low.. this leads me to believe it's a receptor issue, the same issue we believe is happening with our T. And dht for that matter, and who the hell knows what else.. probably neurotransmitters etc.

Maybe all those studies that show an excess of androgen receptors is the body's way of trying to counter some sort of receptor malignment the drug has caused @Helen

Did you do a hairtest before thyroid supplements?

According to your hairtest now you are running in fast oxidation as of now. All your t4 is going straight into reverse t3. Why would you be sensitive to the thyroid supplement.

I dont quite understand why you take this thyroid hormone supplement?

In fast oxidation, permeability of the cell is high and thus thyroid hormones enter the cell much easier. thus their levels tend to be or could be even lower than the mean.

You are trying to get balanced on ARL program , taking thyroid?

When I don't take my tsh goes to about 6 and t3 falls to 2.6 to 2.7.

I'll run an rt3 test this week and check

TSH is always high in fast oxidation since the body is trying to produce more reverse t3 out of t4, thus increases TSH to produce more t4.

Before feeding thyroid supplements you always have to look at reverse t3 without the supplements. If reverse t3 is high. and TSH is high.

And hairtest shows high oxidation, body is trying to slow down the thyroid.

If TSH high , reverse T3 is high , but you see slow oxidation on the hairtest. That means you got leptin problems, and you could benefit from t3 only fora while to flush reverse t3 and then quit .

I hope you understand that balancing with ARL or TEI , taking thyroid is just not only a waste of money but dangerous. Since they are simply feeding you the opposite stuff.

When you say "high" tsh you mean a low number right.. like 1.0 or .5?

Because high tsh , 5+ is hypo = low t3

No, I mean TSH high , 4-5 , TSH shows the need for t4 hormone.
It could go up in fast or slow oxidation.

High TSH showing as HYPO is not correct. It depends as I outlined to you in the post above.

To be honest I feel no different on or off.. I will run a comprehensive thyroid panel this time vs the basic and see where it's all at

When I first started to find my range, I did too much t4 and tsh was .1 (signaling to stop t4 production ) rt3 was high as well (another signal to slow or reverse t3)

This is why I'm not following why you say a high tsh is not a signal for low t4

High TSH is a signal from the Pituitary to produce more t4. at least that's how the medical establishment interprets it.

HIgh TSH is a signal for the need for for t4. In fast oxidation, that t4 is needed not to make t3 but to make extra reverse t3.

thus I wrote to you the above. that TSH can be high in fast or slow oxidation. and it depends on many cases.

thus just looking at TSH does not give you a picture of thyroid speed at the cellular level
