This means more than I can express. Thank you so much. I am trying to conserve energy right now, spending most of the time in bed but I will try to get this arranged as soon as possible and of course when is right for you.

I have tested a lot.
Colonoscopie is sometimes showing nothing. Have you had a comprehensive stool test? This shows a lot.
Have you tested your gluthathione level?
Have you done a MRN of the pudendal nerve?
These are the additional tests showing a lot...best

Relief is a feeling, and you have to be alive for feeling it.
Keep that in mind.
Dont quit, keep trying like everyone else here.

Stay positive man, you still have many options. I remember you saying you had glutathione issues, good that are you starting hydrogen water. Sulforaphane is an easy and cheap option to try too, so you should give that a shot.

Logging here the daily gauntlet of how my symptoms present and how they progress throughout the day

Mornings

- Wake between 6.00 am - 7.30 am. Immediately upon waking my brain will feel relatively clear. However, once I've got out of bed, gone for a pee etc there is a pressure which stems from the back of the brain and extends to around the sides of the temples. Body feels weak, low motivation.

First Meal Of The Day

- Doesn't seem to matter what combo of carbs, fats or proteins I eat, almost always the same result. As I'm eating, the pressure/swelling feeling in my brain increases dramatically. I also get a very strong clouded feeling where my spatial abilities and cognition are severely impacted.

The Hour(s) Which Follows The First Meal - What I Call "The Danger Zone"

- As I finish the last bite of the meal, I just sit, sometimes with my eyes closed, and give ten minutes for digestion. During this period I have learned to avoid reading (and even listening to podcasts/radio if the pressure is really bad). The reason for avoiding these activities, is they can quite literally crash my brain. The very first time this happened was three days post cessation of taking propecia at 0.25mg for four days. It was the first time I thought something was seriously wrong from taking the drug. Prior to this, nothing like this had happened to me in 32 years of life. So, the first time it happened, I was sat eating porridge and scrolling through Twitter on my desktop computer when a feeling like my brain was being pulled out of my head happened. I couldn't read the words on the screen and I literally stood up away from the table to try to gather my bearings. Felt traumatised afterwards.

- This happened to that severity again on Monday this week (28 May). Not during eating but about ten minutes after. I stupidly was reading on my phone whilst listening to the radio. Suddenly, a VERY intense pressure swelled in my brain, I dropped my phone on the table, very nearly blacked out, screamed out "ARRRRGHH" loudly, little white specks were in my vision briefly. Scrambled to turn the radio off (was only a man talking, no music, still felt insanely stressful in that moment to hear any noise). Nearly called an ambulance. I will refer these from now on as "brain zaps", for shorthand.

- Those are the two most severe instances of post eating brain zaps. Usually, when in "The Danger Zone", it is an intensification of the symptoms listed in "The First Meal Of The Day" segment. I am at the point now where I am trying to avoid activity of any sort in the hour or two after first eating. Of course, this is severely debilitating and detrimental to my quality of life.

Mid-Morning to Early Afternoon

- As the hours pass after eating, I go on with the head pressure and startled type feeling (the longer the pfs is going on for me, the more traumatised I feel). Mercifully, I can start to read again and perhaps listen to the radio without fearing a proper brain zap. If I feel one approaching, I just close my eyes for a minute or so and maybe turn the audio down.

- In general, my brain feels mashed up. Approximately described, it feels like a severe hangover when dehydrated type feeling though this isn't really accurate. It also is what I'd imagine the brain would feel like after a physical head injury.

Late Afternoon - Early Evening

- Generally a little bit clearer, not as much head pressure. This period can be a time where the bleak, shocking depression comes in, depression unlike anything I had experienced before pfs. It is as though these is no pleasure center in my brain at all. Each minute to the next has no frame of reference, it's as though I am losing who I am, where I am. Have to take deep breaths through the nose to calm the anxiety.

- Eating in this period is better, doesn't produce as much danger as the first meal of the day does.

Late Evening

- Generally my best period of the day, generally feel the least stressed in this period. The window between around 9.00 pm - 10.00 pm I may try to play a gentle video game, though it is still difficult, head still spinning while playing and some motion sickness. Difficulty concentrating.

- Will get incredibly fatigued around 10.00 pm - 11.00 pm. This is good in that I will fall asleep within five to ten minutes. This is the opposite of before pfs, when my whole adult life, I generally found it difficult to fall asleep but would then sleep deeply once I did.

- Wake up throughout the night most nights. Sometimes only once then shortly fall back to sleep but at its worst, will wake several times and spend periods of time lying awake.

General Symptoms Which Aren't Time Of Day Specific

- Freezing cold hands and/or feet throughout most of the day.

- Nose and area around eyes feels squishy, soft.

- Tinnitus

- Vertigo to varying degrees when out and about walking. Worse in the first half of the day.

- Flaccid penis feels like rubber most of the day, glans sometimes pale yellowy or greenish colour. Can still get an erection from mental/visual arousal however, erection is same size as pre-pfs, glans sometimes feels slightly less filled with blood.

- Very sensitive to loud noises or even quiet ones which are unexpected.

- Increased light sensitivity.

- Weight loss from eating severely reduced calories again.

- Urine sometimes stuck in urethra, needs extra time to squeeze out.

- General feeling of physical weakness.

- Very low tolerance to anything remotely stressful.

- Brain that feels like it's been smashed apart then taped back together again.

- General fragility.

This is horrible man.
And eerily similar to my crash (while on and after more severe).
I know it's little solace, but hang on. You are with people and they believe you which is a HUGE deal.
I wasn't really with anyone until later and they thought I was crazy or exxagerating. Obviously most can never fully comprehend this, but them not "getting" what Effexor did to me as a kid, and then later something equally/even worse... And being smart enough to realize I wouldn't be able to explain, made the whole situation excruciatingly stark.
I honestly can't understand how I got thru all that. In the end, people were there for me. But this is a terrible event that shouldn't befall anyone. I was basically trying to treat some other incurable disease right before trying to treat the hair.
Treating side effects with other dangerous drugs, in an already delicate brain and body chemistry. Anyways neither of us should think about that. I hope you get the help you need and stay strong. Call me if need be, I'll get back if I don't answer. Never give up, life isn't worth ending over this fuckery. I had suicidal thought 18 and maybe younger. But they're just thoughts, and they aren't worth it. Since I was 20 I just wanted to replace bad memories and misery with a good life and good memories. Just do whatever it takes to make a brighter future.

@Concerned tell me something.

Do you feel something weird with you nerves near the stomach(Anxiety like sensation)?
Are you tinnitus 24/7? If you put pressure on your temples with you hands(on any trigeminal termination) do you feel the tinnitus changing/increasing?

I don’t really. Before pfs crashing, I would experience psychologically induced anxiety as a butterfly in the stomach feeling. I haven’t had that much since crashing, has happened a few times.

The tinnitus is always noticeable when it’s silent/quiet. Temple pressure seemingly has no effect.

I am more or less back to my pre-10 day fast state with regards to eating and head pressure if the last week is anything to go by.

Yesterday my brain heaviness/fog/pressure was bad after every meal. It basically lasted all day (couldn't leave the house again) with a milder phase around 6-8 in the evening. Was grateful for that.

However, for my dinner, I had spinach/kale, chicken and prawns (I haven't eaten carbs for days, hasn't made any difference). I took a betaine hcl cap with this meal. The head pressure which followed this meal was probably the strongest of the day. It has to be realised that when this pressure is there, even looking at words or movement feels like my brain will explode and a seizure will come on.

Waited around 20-30 mins after finishing that meal and tried to treat myself (lol) to watching a new netflix documentary with my mum. I literally lasted less than 30 seconds before the pressure swelled so intensely in my brain that it felt like a brain zap or seizure would come on. I stopped the TV and just turned over and lay on my front. My head felt as though an anvil was strapped around my neck, weighing it down. I am not exaggerating.

This is so hard for me because after my ten day water fast and re-feed, I was a semi-functional human being again. I had been back to the gym, been to the beach, the zoo, was able to converse properly. I still had vertigo when out walking and I still would get brain fog but nothing to the extent of the last week again. I speculate that there must be something in my gut which was starved to a large extent by the fast but which is now attacking full force again but I do not know.

I'm not daring to eat again today until mid-day. Need some hours free of the brain pressure (though my brain still feels inflamed). I'm losing weight badly again. Not being able to eat makes all other aspects of recovery protocols incredibly difficult to follow as you have no energy, complete bodily weakness. I'm so thin already that another water fast may be dangerous for me, my organs etc. I'm considering a Breuss fast, at least will take in nutrients with that method.

Undoubtedly you have an illness living in your body beyond pfs. The fast put it down for a bit but it came back.

Don’t be freaked out. It’s as easy as 2+2 as to what happened to you and why.

Just gotta figure a way now in putting illness to sleep for good. I’d try h2 water and full detox for dummies. Betaine hcl/ aminos, electrolytes.

ARL is too potent for someone sick like you. When you’re in a much better place you can move to that.

I dont eat for at least 3 or more hours after waking up. The body is just not ready for that. Your system is still waking up. Especially with PFS i think. First thing i do upon waking up is drink some water. Some water, but not a super heavy amount of water either. This gets the body rehydrated from the period when you were sleeping and going all those hours without hydration. Most likely the water will flush your bowels out in the morning, cleaning you out, and you wont be feeling as "weighed down". You will be emptied out. And thats good. I used to try to shovel down 8 eggs, or high amounts of protein, first thing upon waking, and i could barely finish my food, and it would just slow me down, and make me feel like crap. i did this for years too. Problem solved. Dont overstress your digestive system. (which is very easy to do early in the day, simply because your system is still waking up). It will slow you down. My opinion. We are all affected differently, but this is what works for me personally.

Hey bro here's that link
Fasting Video: The Science of Fasting.

Helped motivate me to continue.
They mention that at some hospitals in Europe they have entire floors dedicated to it. And I think it was in Germany, they combine water and 2 soups a day.

When I was in your state last yr I had whey till it ran out and then BCAAs (only), I was desperate and my heart goes out to all of you, because its brutal.

Anyways, bremain positive and I'm certain things will improve.

Geneva comprehensive parasitology?
I dont know this one, but a comprehensive Geneva is very good.
Test on dysbiosis, ph level, calprotectin etc. and even heavy metals if possible.
Test your gluthathione level, too.
Then you know more and can start a detox treatment like bruschi mentioned.

Thanks dude. Metals have shown up on my ARL hair test already, here:

Toxins.PNG

At the moment, it's hard to do much in the way of protocols as I cannot eat again without severe brain pressure/swelling feeling. I've eaten one bowl of egg lemon soup today, no rice, with spinach and got a head in a vice like feeling. So not eaten since. Pressure reduces and things become easier but vertigo symptoms remain. As I'm not eating, I'm not passing stools.

Will try some Breuss juice tonight to see if that can be tolerated at all better.
