I have started hydrogen water yesterday, i'm experimwnting with everything i found in this forum, nothing has worked yet, i feel so close to suicide

Your issues always sound like severely compromised gut health. Have you tried stuff like making your own sauerkraut and kefir? This, along with some sort of resistant starch which you can tolerate could help a lot.

Thanks dude. Metals have shown up on my ARL hair test already, here:

View attachment 496

At the moment, it's hard to do much in the way of protocols as I cannot eat again without severe brain pressure/swelling feeling. I've eaten one bowl of egg lemon soup today, no rice, with spinach and got a head in a vice like feeling. So not eaten since. Pressure reduces and things become easier but vertigo symptoms remain. As I'm not eating, I'm not passing stools.

Will try some Breuss juice tonight to see if that can be tolerated at all better.
THX for the results. I dont know the normal range, but I think no metals should be visible in a hair test. The mix Mercury and Alu is a bit dangerous. And Arsen is not good either.
My suggestion: test your gluthathione level asap (dont waste anytime). Make a provoking test for heavy metals with dmps (urine testing). Report back and follow a detox protocol.
My guess is you have low gluth levels, body cannot detox properly but must! Gut can be affected by metals/toxins this way. It is known that gut issues (intoxification) can cause severe mental sides.
Suggestion 2: eating only once a day. Best is in the evening. I did it for months cause eating three times a day was impossible. I felt shit, head exploded and I gained weight. Do this intermittend fasting AS it is detoxing your body! It is getting easier every day and you have much more power. Best

What are your sides exactely?
Have you
done a longer period of intermittend fasting?
tested gluth.level?
done a stool test?
tested your Mineral and amino levels?
done a provoking test with DMPS?
done Gluth./aminos/minerals infusions?
chelated with NA EDTA with building up IVs like gluth/vit.c 15gr/vit.bBs/aminos...?
done oxygentherapie before chelation?
done several progesterone cycles while intermittend fasting?

Dude, I even could not stand for longer than 5 minutes in a train without getting inconscious, it was getting dark, needed to sit down immed.
I even could hardly take the steps to the third floor.

AS bruschi said, before going on prog/ru protocol, you need to analyse AS compreh.AS possible. Then you treat those issues first. See my comprehensive and systemic approach to cure in my posts. Best

Good news in that I've got an appointment with a gastroenterologist for 14th June.

Thanks for the information. How did you test your glutathione? It seems like you have to draw the blood at a certain time of day then quickly get it to the lab within a few hours? If the test did show I had low levels of it, would the action be the same anyway, i.e detox?

It might be a coincidence but the day that eating started to become a real problem again for me (after becoming semi-functional again), I had been for my longest sauna at that point. Probably only around my fifth ever sauna. Did the full 20 minutes, half on the upper shelf. I do think I stressed my body too quickly in coming back from recovery in general but obviously the eating causing brain pressure problem is the major problem in me getting better.

Testung gluth.via blood is not a problem. But just do it. And do the provoking test. A hair test does not show you your metal intox. Just do the test!
When you have the results, show us.
Do the stool test. A colonoscopie does not say anything. Do even a metal test of your stool if possible. Do not mention pfs at all.

There are two different ways of detox.
Check gbol s way and mine.
Sauna can make the situation even worse as I know. So, do the analysis, come back and let you help finding the right path. Good luck.

Could betaine hcl be reason why myself and some other did so well after fast? Maybe gut needs a major increase in stomach acid for those that are in alkalosis?

I don’t know. For me I was getting better and better in all areas 12 weeejs after fast then I had my injury. After injury I stopped betaine hcl, Did 3 weeks of ru/prog, then started arl two weeejs later and did it for 2 weeks.

Post betaine hcl my gut wasn’t the same. Finally adding it back in with h2 water these past 3 weeks my gut has gotten a bit closer to where it was in those 12 weeks post fast.

I have tried to lower HCl intake as well, but it seems for now I do better with more than less, I can take a lot and not get any burning sensations/heartburn. Might take alot longer for some of us to get stomach acid back to normal levels with no supps. Another thumbs up for bile acids, this stuff works along with it really well.

Latest blood test results are in. They are SHOCKING btw (might be that bad because I had been eating sub 1000 calories a day for a few days when the sample was taken).

05-06-18 Hormone Results.PNG

For reference, here's what my hormones looked like last December before I'd ever touched finasteride:

December Blood Test Results.PNG

What's strange is that in April, a week into my re-feed after a ten day water fast, my total testosterone levels were reasonable though I still had ridiculously high E2 and SHBG:

April Blood Test Results.PNG
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thankfully, I've managed to start eating again a bit more. Sticking to white rice, eggs, chicken and spinach. Brain isn't melting down from eating like it was when I was hospitalised.

Brain swelling/pressure eased the last few days prior to today. I actually managed to play some online PUBG and Halo. This is quite significant for me so far (don't laugh!). Previously, it felt like my brain couldn't handle the information on the screen and I couldn't concentrate on it. I've been playing in the mornings mostly, before I eat my first meal of the day.

Today brain pressure has returned to a moderate degree. Got worse after eating, had to stop my mum talking to me, mid-sentence, as it felt as though my brain was about to explode again. It's subsided a bit now though.

Sleep has been pretty poor this week. Couple nights there where I was waking up every hour or two. Exhausting. Bit better last night.

Haven't fapped in 17 days, penis is practically numb while flaccid, haven't had any waking erections of note and nocturnal ones have been mostly 60%. Haven't tested with porn to see if full erection is possible, honestly, my neurological sides are that bad where I haven't got the energy to worry too much about my dick at the moment. Saying that, when washing in the shower currently, it feels like the structure within my penis is disintegrating? My shaft skin is bunching up like a coiled, creased sleeve over my dick, almost like when you see a formerly obese person who shed the weight but now has loose skin.

Digestion is still bad. This is a new symptom as of around three weeks ago. I've never had digestive issues in my life and didn't even have them for the first two months of pfs. Now, it feels like I have a stomach cramp, like I've done four hundred crunches in the gym, for around an hour after eating. Sometimes the feeling is there without eating at all.

Still got the vertigo/unsteady at sea feeling variously throughout the day.

Currently focused on building my daily caloric intake back up as much as I can and waiting for the gastroenterologist appointment in a couple days.

You can't expect good testosterone level when your body's in starvation mode.. Common sense tells me that anabolic hormones will be low and stress hormones high in this situation.. Testing testosterone all the time is useless. You should test some more useful markers like ceruloplasmin, thyroid, iron panel, calcium metabolism etc.. Btw gastroenterologist and doctors like this are also useless.. I would stay away from regular doctors as much as possible..

@Concerned the "waiting for appointments" is the wasted time periods with going after your ailments. Your wasting your time. What are they going to tell you? You have IBS? You should see the doctors and see what they have to say and see results of testing. But waiting and not acting RIGHT NOW is what is holding you back.

You need to start a plan now and go after this. You can't just sit here and hope these doctors are going to find something wrong with you and they're going to fix you. Maybe they will, maybe they won't, but lets start treating yourself immediately.

If they find a pathogen that would be great, but lets just automatically assume you have one because lets be real here- you're under major distress. I don't see PFS along with your toxicities causing your issues to degree you have them. Calcium looks like its an issue but you fasted before this test so it might be elevated to the extent it is due to your fast.

In my hair test both calcium and magnesium were high- I think its possible calcium was high from fast and magnesium high from Epsom salt baths I do. Correct me if I'm wrong (anyone), but fairly certain that fasting decalcifies people.

You're under stress though, no doubt about it with sodium, potassium that low. Your sympathetic nervous system is weak and overworked. Magnesium low- start doing Epsom salt baths- you need magnesium to relax and balance calcium. Get a lot of salt in your diet too, good salt.

Heck, jump on the whole detox protocol for dummies. ARL would be stupid for you. You gotta do something now. But start slow, first start with H2. Good things may happen immediately with h2 water. Its happening to some of us here now experimenting.

When we spoke originally you mentioned time being a factor and wasting time in your life. Well you're wasting time waiting for doctors when you can start doing things now. So jump on something here and I'd do the detox for dummies. If you wanna talk pm me.

Agreed that the low test levels are exacerbated by the lack of calories. These blood tests are free on the national health service plus my GP wants me to do them. They're useful in seeing what has happened to my hormone ratios. My estrogen levels have increased by a crazy amount and my sky high SHBG is absorbing too much.

Guy on Swole Source said he found some stuff whilst having a colonoscopy. I was referred to the gastroenterologist by the hospital and again, any procedure they carry out will be done at no charge to me so I might as well explore this avenue in case.

I get where you're coming from man. It's not so much a case of me sitting on my hands waiting for this appointment as it has been me getting over the shock of the second crash I had in the last few weeks. Difficult to start any protocol when the brain pressure is so intense you'd rather not eat in hopes of avoiding it. I have started eating again and it's a huge relief. Ate sweet potato, chicken and spinach for tea tonight, it was delicious. Quite a treat really.

I think salt makes my brain pressure and the unsteady motion symptoms worse btw. I got both Himalayan pink salt and mineral sea salt. On a web page that advises people with menieres disease (my symptoms match with this), it states that salt intake should be kept low. Low salt seems to work for me but I understand my hair test shows it's too low in relation to the other stuff.

Things have worsened significantly the last few days. Since the first week of my initial crash I’ve had that feeling of falling through the couch when sitting down, sea sickness and whirring in my head. That has now developed into affecting how my brain is perceiving the world around me.

Everything is now tilted on its side to the right. There’s a near constant feeling of lurching or being pulled to the right in my body/brain. When I go bed at night, as soon as I close my eyes my brain doesn’t know I’m lying straight and stable and I have to quickly open them again to assure my brain that I’m at least not vertical or upside down.

I don’t know what can help me with this. I saw a BPPV specialist on Wednesday and she thinks I may have Ménière’s disease. I can find no case of finasteride causing this online (I’ve seen posts from people who have had it start from taking ecstasy or a shot of Botox though). Again though, when I google menieres and room tilt, not much comes up.

I’m not posting this expecting anyone here to have an answer to this. I just wanted to document it. I don’t know how much longer my mind will last, this is all involuntary, I know my surroundings are flat but my brain is perceiving them as sloped. I’m very scared for what will happen next. It’s so crazy because my thoughts are relatively clear but my brain is progressively degenerating.

@Concerned have you tried meditation? If you look for 'guided mediation' or 'mindfulness meditation' on youtube there are some really good videos. Takes time to get to be able to do it properly, but once you've got it, its clearly a powerful tool for recovery. Sounds like you're probably overthinking everything which just makes things worse, so if you can get into the habit of clearing your mind completely and meditating you might be able to make a step forward. This has helped me through bad times in the past.

Unfortunately it’s involuntary, I’m basically losing control of my senses. Has nothing to do with anxiety or overthinking. Other than doctors appointments I haven’t left my house for a week. My brain is losing touch with reality and isn’t processing my environment correctly.

I reckon either way, meditation is something to give a go.

This is probably worth thinking about though - I would add on the bile acids test too (I've done this test, but forgot to add on the bile acids). You'll be able to come up with a plan of attack then. I wouldn't be surprised if all your main beneficial bacteria species were wiped out

Dude make an appointment with a therapist counselor immediately if you have not or are not in with someone already. This is not a suggestion
