So I grew up with ADD, and was put on meds(ritalin) from like age 9-14 then I decided to quit.
I'm not sure if it has something to do with my add/adhd but caffeine only really gives me a bit of temporary focus followed by a weird sort of "wired up" feeling in my head, somewhat reminiscent of the meds I used to take(not a huge fan). I mean the two drugs are both just stimulants, except one is a prescribed medication and the other is commonly consumed in drinks haha. I don't necessarily have more energy though when I have coffee or caffeine in general, not sure why. Maybe just my neurochemistry and being used to stimulants.
