Nina , it is always better to get it from food. unbalanced sups. could be dangerous. I rec just all electrolytes. you can use salt with mangesium and potassium foods.
@mattyb got it all figured out on chronometer.

You can also buy salt replacement in the supermarket.... half NaCl, half KCl!

Perfect explanation about how to have a better digestion and how to produce more saliva and more HCl etc!

@Canari great video, thanks for posting! I actually read almost a summary version of that today which also suggested things like making sure you focus on your meal, getting the smell of the food and sitting down and eating it and not watching tv while you eat etc. I found I was salivating before eating when I tried this, so it must be having a positive effect. I'm going to try relaxing and taking a few deep breathes as suggested in the video too!

Wouldnt go over 7g KCl (or 4 grams elemental). Better play safe and stay lower than 6g KCl
Usual dose for hypokalemia for adults is 7500mg KCl. And max dose for HYPOKALEMIA! (not for you) is 15 grams KCl.

I actually think ratios of potassium/sodium/magnesium are more important than dosages. Higher dosages might speed things up though.
Tip for people feeling worse on magnesium at first, add some (more) sodiumChloride.

@gbolduev what makes potassium go inside the cell? this is what we generally want to achieve to regain health, am I wrong??

Has anyone ever tried brewers yeast together with this protocol? Ive seen people talking about it as supp, but not in this combination. Any experiences?

according to some researchers the prefect ratio is found in sea/ocean water and unprocessed-grey-still wet sea salt... sodium can trans-mutate into as much potassium as the body needs, according to some... but this could be all BS...

Hi - quick question for everyone, I’ve been taking 5ht for about 3 years now everyday since suffering from PFS, I’m just catching up on some reading here and it seems this can cause PSSD is that correct? If this is correct should I stop taking it cold turkey or slowly come off it?

Yes come off it. Do it slowly.

Salivating... and you know what? Also making stomach acid!
Instead of deep breathe, well if you mean full breathes I agree, but I suggest doing it with the consciousness of what is moving bellow and above lungs, so belly massaging organs when you inspire, plus shoulders going up. Our resp. diaphragm is also there to massage our organs. And then if you want to increase the calmness, and thus saliva etc, nothing better than a pause after expire, as this induces the parasympathetic state that is needed. Pause with no effort, just a stop, and no more than comfortable. It is the same as the CP in Buteyko! But done several times and without measure.

Good question.... Also, it seems that what is INSIDE the cell is NOT what is seen in the hair test. It makes things difficult to understand... Can a low K means that we have a lot INSIDE the cell, and that it appears low in the hair test?

i have read from dr Watson that hairs are made both of extracellular and intracellular stuffs...so it is hard to reply to your question

Yup I use it sometimes in this protocol. Definitely works as a source of quality amino acids in highly absorbable form (when in liquid.)

I just used 4 HCL pills with my last meal. Definitely too much for me- lowers cortisol and causes fatigue. 2 HCL tabs seems to really do the trick though.

Thanks, at least for the first time I get some answer about it! The lab I used told me that we do not see what is inside, that is why toxic metals are not always seen from the start....
This is so strange that they can hide! Where do they hide actually!!!

Will this protocol eventually make me estrogen sensitive? I've been doing it for like 2 weeks and it feels good so far.
Also I'd like to try resveratrol for like a week, just to see how I'd react,If any symptoms would go away or get better, even though I know the results wouldnt be permanent,
Would that be safe or could it mess up my future progress with this protocol?

Isn’t it better to supplement certain B vitamines instead of all the kale and spinache? As there are a lot of minerals in the vegetables that some of us don’t really need.

Anyone here use losalt? On the label it says 450mg potassium/1.3gr but is that elemental or not? Otherwise it would only be like 250mg potassium/1.3gr if its not elemental.

Potassium is potassium and elemental. Potassium chloride is potassium chloride.
But if you want to supplement potassium and you buy potassium chloride, you obviously need to calculate with the percentage of cloride to potassium ratio.

1,3g mix = 450mg potassium (from ~900mg potassium chloride (~50%)) and 170mg sodium (from ~ 420mg sodiumchloride(~40%))
