Hello everyone,

Im a new member so i will try to keep this as short as i can.
My story is similar to most PFS sufferers.
Its been 7 months since i crashed.

I took Finasteride almost 9 years without major problems, except a little less libido.
I stopped finasteride 2 times.
1st time it was in July and after 2 weeks everything was back online.
Extreme high libido + erections (spont/noc/morning) and ofc massive hairloss
(extreme pain at the scalp and inflammation).
Back on finasteride for 2 months.
2nd time it was in October ( i decided to quit forever no matter what)
10 days after my last pill I crashed hard. :/

I have had only Sexual symptoms but almost all of them.
-Low Libido (20-30%)
-Erectile dysfunction
-No nocturnal/morning/spont erections
-Hard flaccid penis
-Insensitivity/"Cold" genitals
-Curvature to the left and upwards
(I did ultrasound - Its not Fibrosis/Peyronies and no doctor can explain this!)
-Pelvic floor discomfort (after ejaculation)

Hairloss has stopped permanently, and now i keep growing new hair!

I did some Blood work in November and December (3 exams)
Total Testo: 3.70 -3.55 -2.75 ng/ml
Free Testo: 40 - 35 -31 pg/ml
SHBG: 20-26.5 nmol/l
E2 : 28-29 pg/ml
FSH-LH: 2.5-3.5 (they have almost the same values)
Progesterone: 0.8 ng/ml
Prolactine: 5.3-5.4 ng/ml
Cortisol: 100 ng/ml
ACTH: 32 pg/ml
DHT: 0.53 ng/ml
3adiolG: 5.8 ng/ml

I crash even harder when i use things that they are supposed to raise my testosterone/androgens.
Gym, clomid, tribulus, creatine etc.

I read about SPRM's in this forum and that some ppl have cured when they used Ru and EllaOne.
So i ordered EllaOne to give it a try.
I want to believe that the theory with the Progesterone Receptor is right.
Im not an expert in hormones so i will need your help guys for sure.

I really hope that we will find a solution to this.

Thanks everyone in advance.
And im sorry for my bad English.
I did my best :)

Greetings.

English was great! Welcome man. Sucky issue we have here but a lot of us are getting much much better along with several cures here.

While this seems all hormonal and for you I’d say it’s a good thing your sides are only sexual, PFS can affect you on all levels and there are several ways of going about it.

The hormonal methods seem to more often than not give some sort of spurt ahead for guys here. Some occasions no help. Some occasions they’ve played big role in cures.

That said, we have ways here of attacking system non-hormonally essentially with balancing the system with overall health. Maybe look into ARL and TEI mineral balancing, “detox protocol for improved health”, zinc finger/betaine hcl protocols, and fasting.

There are many things to do here that can help you beat this health problem you have here. Just be glad it’s the year 2018 and you found this place man!

Welcome aboard... to echo @bruschi11 , there's a great amount of progress here on this forum and you'll definitely find some improvements...

I typically suggest things I've taken and continue to take... and choline has been a staple in my daily regiment as you'll find, acetyl choline is needed for day time erections. Our receptors need this to be built back up. 500mgs twice a day I take.

You can google acetyl L-Carnitine and it's benefits on peyronies disease which we don't have but the penile tissue repair benefits of this amino at 2G is what I use (I use 3G)

Quick hit from google, there's many others:
Acetyl L-Carnitine and Peyronie's Disease

Also note two points: Crashing on something that others say helps happens at different stages of recovery so don't rule out certain things... and don't rule out the concept of holistic healing... where a product may make you feel worse for the cycle, say 30 days, but the bounce back is where the recovery is...

The latest example I've been researching is sulbutiamine ... this is an OTC derivative of thiamine that crosses the BBB and, depending on which research, blocks dopamine which , on paper, sounds bad and many ppl say it feels low.. but when you block dopamine, it forces our brain's dopamine receptors to up-regulate as it searches for dopamine (sometimes referred to as increasing density)... then you stop sulbutiamine after 30 days, and bounce back to a better baseline during the next 60 days. (Again, I haven't done this at all and this is just from researching) I'm giving an example of where you kinda feel bad at first but recover with a better baseline.

Everyone is here to help...

Im really glad that i found this place.
I know that if that happened to me some years before i would be absolutely helpless.

Personaly im ready to use every method (hormonal or not )that has been mentioned on that site.
But Im not sure if i belong to PFS case 1 or 2.
Maybe you can help me figure it out.

According to many Endocrinologists that i have visited the last months my Labs are perfectly fine.
My low Total Testosterone (300's) is due to low SHBG (20-26).
My free Testosterone is fine.
Estrogen Fine.
Everything is fine.

From the other hand, I personally believe that my Progesterone is considered to be High.
LabCorp for example sets Progesterone's limits for men between 0.0-0.5.
The lab that i did those exams sets them at 1.2.
Im really lost...:/

I cant find any labs from men who have mesured their Progesterone levels.
And i know that makes sense...
Because there is no reason for a man to mesure his progesterone levels!
I personally took the initiative to take this exam.
Doctors were always wondering why....

Thanks JoeKool for the reply.
I already ordered L-Carnitine.
Acetyl-Choline and Choline is the same thing?

I also have read that l-Carnitine sensitize our AR.
But the question is that if this is really a problem of AR desensitization...
I am really open to try anything.

But i believe that before I start a protocol , I have to figure out if i belong to PFS case 1 or 2.
Maybe you could help me on this one too.

@brix I use the Nature's Way Choline 500Mg tablets... I get them from amazon or anywhere like this:
Nature's Way, Choline, 500 mg, 100 Tablets

I actually split the pills with a knife in half and in quarters because I can't take such a heavy pill with water. I can't drink milk. I take 1 whole pill in the morning and 1 at night. There are better choline supplements that supposedly cross the BBB better. They are citocoline/cdp-choline and GDP-Choline. If you can stomach those, those are better forms. I get the Hershey squirts so can't take those two. So 500mgs AM & PM though I've testing higher numbers so bitartrate is safe for me, just lesser amount cross BBB.

@EsQimo Acetyl-Choline is what's made from Choline and the active component in the brain. That's why the better Carnitine is the Acetyl form... for brain benefits.

What's your body temperature ? I forgot to list I take iodine as well... 2 drops of nascent iodine every morning in water. This is for thyroid help which benefits your body temp and testicular activity. That coldness which I felt will improve with this. You can actually put iodine right on the testicles, kinda paint it in. Penis too... iodine alone or iodine in DMSO right on the penis to open the vessels and get some activity in there.

I haven't read that ALCAR sensitizes our AR but that's not a bad thing. Estrogen is what sensitizes the AR which then makes you DHT receptive, getting libido, erection, feelings... etc...

I think your blood levels are an interesting case & you can likely prove a big point here if you want to try something. As we've researched and see, a snapshot in time of our blood levels prove nothing because they appear normal yet we have functional issues. Again, for males, estrogen is needed to sensitize the receptors...I'll get back to you on cases...

Do you have any normal feelings... not just sexual but happy, sad, anxious ?

Thats a difficult question to answer.
I believe that i have some feelings but they are not as strong as before.
Its a little bit difficult to feel happy now because of this condition.
I cant fell in love with a girl cause the sexual sides.
So i dont know...

In the morning, if i sleep well at night (for over 7-8 hours), i experience a kind of anxiety, like im very prone to stress.
That is happening every morning for 7 to 9.
Then around noon this anxiety fades away.
Im not sure but i believe that this one have to do with Cortisol levels in the morning. (Adrenaline- Nor etc)
If something stresses me in the morning, my hands start shaking and I experience breathing difficulty.
That one lasts for 5 minutes.
Then to the 2nd stressful situation i act normally.
I assume that my body produces GABA the 1st time and then im calm.
Im not sure if that have something to do with PFS.
Maybe yes maybe not :)

My body temperature is normal.
My TSH is around 1 (0.80-1.20)

I believe that PFS have to do with our receptors or enzymes.
Not our hormones.
The day i crashed, just minutes before the crash, I felt a surge of libido.
Like a libido spike.
And then a switch in my body closed immediately.

Dont know.
I belive AR downregulated or upregulated for some reason.
Im trying to understand the Gdbols theory and how AR/ER and PR be involved.

yes it's all about receptors in my opinion... while on FIN, your AR up regulate looking for DHT but only finds estrogen... then at cessation of FIN, it's hypothesized that the 5AR2 enzyme is free to convert as much test to DHT which 'overloads' these up-regulated androgen receptors and either, destroys them (unlikely) or severely down regulates and holds this state...

and that morning feeling is 100% adrenal... I had it too... I used to 'turtle' up bigtime many times a day (where the penis shrinks up)... that's all adrenal...

and our GABA receptors are hurt as well during FIN since we blocked 5AR which is needed for adenyl cyclase to convert to GABA ... the choline will help there too.

The progesteron receptor?
Because i see that some guys got to 70-100% from Ella or RU.
I have never read for a cure from SARMs until now.
Thats strange.

Personally, Libido is the major problem.
If i get my libido to 70% im good.
When u dont have any libido everything else doesnt matter.

Doppler ultrasound shows that my penis is working perfect.
My ED comes from low libido.

I will try choline for sure.

I have EllaOne in my hands finally :)
How exactly I have to proceed?
Its a 30mg pill, so I assume that I have to break it in 6 pieces of 5mg?

Also guys i dont know from where exactly to start.

I also think about Copper and 3 weeks later Zinc + NAD + Magnesium + Manganese + B6

There are so many protocols that im lost.
Electrolytes, zinc finger..

Is Ella a safe protocol in general?

Any help would be appreciated guys

fingers crossed man!

Yeah Isolate the Ella cycle and try and cut out most other extraneous supplementation and definitely no other drugs during or immediately after the cycle.

I'm surprised trib does nothing for you since it usually is the only thing some respond to, but we're all different. How sigh did you dose the trib?

I'm looking forward to your results from Ella.
Best of luck, my dude!

2nd day on 5mg Ella.

I dont believe that have an effect on me until now.

Yesterday i had less libido after a gym session (0% litteraly)
Today i have 30% (at least i can get an erection)

I really believe that this has nothing to do with Ella.
Its the usual fluctation of libido.

fingers crossed man!

Yeah Isolate the Ella cycle and try and cut out most other extraneous supplementation and definitely no other drugs during or immediately after the cycle.

I will do a 5 day cycle.
I dont know man.
Most people saw results immediately after take 1-2 pills.
I feel absolutely nothing...:/

Thanks IHateFin.
I was taking 500mg /1 gr/2gr tribulus per day.
I dont know maybe i have to up the dosage to 5-10gr day.

I will not stop trying things.
Thats for sure.

4th day on Ella.
Until now it seems that it hasnt any effect.
Still low libido, ED, insensitivity, curvature etc.
:/

I dont feel better or worse...the feel the same.

My ED got better last night when i ate 4 eggs.
My libido remained the same but my erections were more solid.
Due to choline i guess...

I may be wrong but I thought only a few people experienced immediate results while taking Ella. Rather, the effects (if any) are felt via the snap back, after stopping Ella. And the snap back can take weeks. Or am I thinking of RU(?)
Either way, best of luck to you. Praying it works for you.

I’ve done two short Ella cycles 2-3 days 5-10mg and a few short RU cycles. I agree, the benefit seems to come after4-5 days. After my last cycle of Ella I stopped everything except still taking choline and inositol. I’ve been doing great. You can read my updated but I really believe in this protocol. Good luck!

I feel like for Ella to work you have to have made some improvements already. It works based on prog levels so depending on where your body is in its healing will determine how sensative you are to prog and estrogen etc. if you have low sensitivity to these hormones it could explain why you feel nothing from ella
