thoughts on using nizoral? I know it's a minor AR5-inhib, but it worked well on my hair before this mess and I thought it could help mitigate some higher DHT sides I have now (along with hairloss) if used sparingly
Don't bother with AA for hair anymore, and if you truly wanted to go to that route again just look at @Jack17 log. He is on dut and microdosing it enough to keep DHT not too high or low so his hair is good and reduce sides as much as possible. He is doing thorough testing within his log to make sure things are stable.
TEI or NB is ideal if you want to fix all your problems until there is another effective/quicker way (like a revised version electrolytes protocol for example).
In the end, DHT is not the bad guy it's just a metabolic issue and it's a response mechanism from your body that your hair is falling out.
You might accomplish something similar from soy products or isoflavones. ThTs what I'm doing now.I agree, it's just a bandaid and doesn't fix the problem. but the fact remains that it did help my hair significantly without noticeable sides. a lot makes sense about @jack17s log. and I thought I could hit some very mild 5ar inhibition without doing any damage, but that may be wishful thinking. Has anyone even noticed sides from keto?
Also for diffuse thinners I think its worth looking into SIBO too, I'm going to start a 4 week protocol soon that includes natural antibiotics like oregano oil
The idea is that diffuse thinning is a malnutrition form of hairloss, caused by bad bacteria eating all the nutrients before you get it
I've been having 1 cup of mixed berries a day for over a week now, hair is feeling great. I think also the super high antioxidants helps lower inflammation which also prevents baldness

Do you know any good products?Should try topical rasberry ketones as well they only used a small dose topically as well (0.1%) so you can def go higher with potentially better results.
Also this thread is pretty interesting. I used to use the derminator years back and it did stop my shedding I just couldn't deal with it doing it all the time Lol

I always thought that, at least for facial skin, it encouraged collagen production in areas where it was lacking or had decreased.Isnt dermarolling used specifically for breaking down excess collagen? I thought thats the whole idea behind it.
But ofc it causing scar tissue would be bad.
