nice. I will do the same soon.

do you think coming off of everything...even vitamins, herbs and minerals is necessary ?

Depends. I didn't stop everything since what I'm taking vitamin wise has helped me a lot so I wanted to see what I'm STILL missing even after supplementation.

I think there's much better things than clomid (though it has worked well for some guys). And possibly dostinex., as well.

Interesting thought. that makes sense that we get all around better info on were we stand if we see abnormal results while taking vitamin and minerals so this way we know what to adjust dosage wise or perhaps we would now know to exclude/add one or the other in order to correct what ever issue we see from the results.

opposed to just seeing the imbalance off of everything and having no idea were we will stand once we start taking vitamins and minerals.

very good point

I think @gbolduev is blind. So once again. Can you post link of5 beta reductase deficiency symptoms ?

5 beta reductase makes your bile acids, without bile acids you will have a build up of cholesterol and malabsorption of fats. and mainly phospholipids and you will have bilirubin stones in your gallbladder which completely blocks all your bile flow.

this will cause deficiency of lipids needed for the brain , sex, fat soluble vitamins etc and you will have very thick blood since cholesterol wont be used and wont be disposed off.

This is why I said to do liver flushes all the time. Also you can take bile acids. chenodeoxycholic acid plus cholic acid. 5 beta reductase makes those . These 2 acids will dilute all your stones and let you absorb all the needed lipids from the diet. After years of fin your gallbladder had zero bile acids, means it is solid green mass with very little bile.

Also you need to eat good fats( butter) , plus vitamin Bs, since b vitamins make NADPH and NADP those are needed for 5 alpha and 5 beta reductases. Also you can add vitamin C , since cholesterol is converted down the line into 5 beta reductases by vitamin C and NADPH which fin impairs.

https://www.amazon.com/Allergy-Rese...70118&sr=8-2&keywords=nt+factor+energy+lipids

And vitamin B vitamins plus vitamin C

Plus flush the liver over and over again. This is the problem in PFS

PLus do the hairtest and see which other cofactors for bile you are missing like copper manganese zinc. etc

Delta 4-3-oxosteroid 5 beta-reductase deficiency: failure of ursodeoxycholic acid treatment and response to chenodeoxycholic acid plus cholic acid.

@gbolduev I finished 2 bottles of this bile acid factors without any changes.. I was also using lecithin.. Good fats are what in this case olive/ coconut oil? Also my common sense says stop eating egg yolks and eat more oats etc. for good fiber to reduce the cholesterol load in the body/ liver? I like egg yolks, but I think that they make me sluggish.. I have very bad blood circulation so this will be part of it for sure..

edit- Btw my conjugated bilirubin is always elevated. So that is sign of what you just said?

I think I already know the answer to this, but... We shouldn't be doing liver flushes on ARL, right? Because we're taking minerals in such specific ratios and the magnesium load required for a liver flush could set things back.

I find the magnesium load, affects me for about 2 days(light sleep, sweating...), until I get enough daily sodium/potassium back in. I think the flushes are to beneficial to avoid.

This view on bile acid is interesting
Also Androsterone seemingly plays a role in its synthesis as well; this is from RPF:

The so-called Farnesoid X Receptor (FXR) is a very interesting nuclear receptor inside the cell. It has a multitude of functions, but one of the main functions includes sensing and controlling the levels and synthesis of bile acids. (...)
androsterone is a potent activator / agonist of FXR and it can do that in low micromolar concentrations (10 microMol). These concentrations are achievable with in vivo doses with 10mg - 15mg androsterone in humans.

androsterone directly binds to the FXR-LBD and induces recruitment of coactivators such as SRC-1. Furthermore, androsterone can function as an activator of FXR both in a transfection system using gal4-FXR fusion protein induction of reporter genes and in cultured cells using endogenous FXR/retinoid X receptor heterodimer activation of gene expression. Finally, androsterone treatment of castrated male mice induced expression of SHP, suggesting that androsterone may also regulate gene expression in vivo via the FXR
-------

That could explain why some reported changes in their stool while on r andro and be another reason why so much people got better with r andro

However now that I think about it, maxout777 a former PFS, successfully recovered his sides whereas he had no gallbladder, he got it removed before

very interesting, I will definitely try this low dose of androsterone 5-10 mg, because high dose kills my aromataze and then i want to kill myself, serious depressive side effect of low estrogen.
You dont need a gall bladder to produce bile. And yes, my stools were very good and dark on r andro.

Yes but, i took Finasteride one time, one mg and it is all, and it fucked me.

Why do I have neuropsychiatric problems if i took it once ?

I'm stuck in alcalosis.
Don't say me that one time could have blocked my bile production

Hi @gbolduev, I have a family history of high ldl cholesterol. Since recovering my health, my LDL has dropped down to just above the max limits. My Testosterone is mid range, I have no real complaints in that department. But I'd love to improve both those numbers if possible.
I read somewhere that those with frequent, loose movements are not as likely to have blockages, it this true? The liver flushes are not something I want to do at this time, can I get away with anything else, slow but steady? How do you feel about Ursodiol? The silcone dioxide in the Jarrow product is not good no?
R.

Isn't this taking hormones exact opposite what @gbolduev is saying here all the time? What will happened when you stop taking it?
