Fluoroquinolones damage

I have talked with a biochemist, he thinks that fluoroquinolones induce damage in some people by chelating copper.
Thinking about it, it may make sense, i have found some people with pfs that felt better on fluoroquinolones, and it may be due to copper chelation

I’m curious in this too as I took some of these during pfs which made me worse.

@Helen any ideas? Just need to get potassium up to get copper working?

-I was really scared sort of, but think damage is done and improving over time w/ lots of hard work.
-But I had an incident that necessitated that stuff (fluoroquinolones - which also have ruined some lives). - I was totally fkd but mostly that was fin I'm quite certain.
-I needed it, could have been a BAD infection without taking something. Some time summer or fall last yr.
-NOT what you're supposed to do maybe, but I tried some copper here and there and forgot that I got nearly vomit inducingly ill. I took some after randro and 4andro and working out. - I felt like I had to eat (not hungry but to stop the nausea). Could have been mj, I don't think so tho, bc happened before also with only copper and randro/4andro. -Although, I probably was not eating enough. I usually fast - so I take most things empty stomach (and have for 5-6 yrs at least). -BUT Zinc or Copper destroy me nausea/headache/sickness feeling wise... and maybe that's bc of the empty stomach thing, but I think anytime I tried them even with food - it wasn't good.
-I think the right form of copper, i have 2... won't use again most likely.
-I was taking potassium everyday most of last 2.5-3mo, forgot lately, that reminds me. -still taking simplified electrolytes i.e. greens every meal with pro + sea salts,( but that's not really a protocol), on top of whatever else.

-adding a q here to save room:
-@Slayo, -Do you think zinc makes me sick for similar reasons (needing to bind to some enzyme)?
-Maybe I should get patches for things that orally made me sick. People (mostly kids) take them for various meds (psyche) when they have some enzymatic deficiency.
-(Also, Nicorette, Daytrana patches, etc.) -I tried mj cream... etc not v helpful, good creams tho. --Best ROA is insufflation besides injection (for srs drugs), or vaporization.
-OBV I do not rec any drugs, nor snorting, shooting, nor vaping/smoking any. --THO CBD oil is oral and isn't that helpful... vaping probably would be. SO changing ROA could be a big game-changer for a lot of intolerable things for many people.

The biochemist said that copper patches could help those people.
Also i'm aware that copper can induce vomit, that's why months ago i opened a post about a company selling copper-niacin (copper 1), that they claim it doesn't need to bind with ceruroplasmin to work and it is almost all oxidised inside the cells compared to standard copper supplements where very little get oxidosed inside the cells, but nobody paid attention

So, Slayo... if after TEI, I ever need it... ideally I don't, but if I ever need copper... just get that patch? Patches cause less problems for various substances for some.
Way before PFS, copper and zinc make me feel... almost like I should go to the hospital (I waited it out each time). I mean, I also fast all the time... and take most things empty stomach or with coffee (just saves time, eating at night only).

Also, (I don't care... gone, long ago... 4-6 weeks), I took these antibiotics, damage gone after tons of fasting right Dec--FEb? gone... just like accutane, damage gone....
-correct? @Slayo

I’ve been using mitosynergy activator on and off for 6+ months. I think it helps quite a bit but I’ve also been taking potassium/sodium/vit c as well.

After pfs crash I had low blood ceruloplasmin and potassium was 1 on the hair test. I originally dismissed copper toxicity but I think it might be what made my potassium so low. So I’m focusing on that now. Low Potassium also seems to correlate with low cortisol.

I feel like I get massive copper dumps from both the copper and potassium.

Also one interesting thing is that my hair grows back completely sometimes now since taking these things. At my worst after crashing I had gone pretty much bald from the temples all the way back to the crown.

And my stool became perfect colour again after being pale yellow for many years.

My bad crash came from finasteride but I also had bad side effects from cipro and accutane in previous years.

I’m wondering if you can just buy niacin and take it with a cheaper copper supplement because I noticed if I take something at the same time as the mitosynergy supplement I feel the effects a lot more.

The guy over at Nutritional Balancing Science also managed to finally bring his potassium levels up.. 2 of the things he says that might of contributed to that are the mitosynergy copper and saunas which I believe. The temporary recoveries I’ve had have also involved sauna. Sauna apparently helps a lot with removing toxic copper.

Do you have a hair test?

What is mitosynergy activator? Do you have a link?

And you take copper but are experiencing dumps? Are you trying to get rid of copper?

Very good man, i have written a post about mytosenergy copper, nobody paid attention

I have read a, paper aboit FQ damage, and i think that it isn't as easy to solve as taking copper patches, it induces very big oxidative stress and chelates iron, copper, zinc, manganese, magnesium, so i think an hair test is needed to see where are you at @MNK99

-H.T. 1 results, recorded in the annals of time. --> CLEAN.
-H.T. 2 results, imminent. ---> Improved or dying, either way, whatever yo. I'll look into it. I appreciate your efforts. Fluro's only hurt my stomach. --fasted like a goddamned corpse.

Looks like they have new labels.. when I say the activator one I mean the one with d-ribose in. The ones with glycine in had the opposite effect on me. I got nothing out of the glycine ones.. only bad effects.

MitoActivator Original Formula Convenience Plan - MitoSynergy

My last hair test was 4 lows.. potassium 1 and sodium 2

Because of the low Ceruloplasmin in the blood I’m trying to raise that along with my potassium/sodium levels to start. I was taking limcomin for a long while before that to balance sodium/potassium via ARL.

The biochemist that makes it claims that it uses the NADH pathway instead of ceruroplasmin

Yes exactly.. I notice when I have taken some other supplements at the same time as mito they seem to have a stronger effect as well.

Do you have normal copper on hair test?

I have high copper, but think that could mean I have too much , or too little because the form I have is bio unavailable. So even with the high copper on hair test maybe a bio-available copper supplement would be helpful. Idk. I will start with TEI and trying to get rid of this not bio-available copper

Not sure man. If you have started with TEI I would probably continue with that and see how you go.

My copper is actually low on the tests. I’m still unsure if the product can raise ceruloplasmin over time as some of the people I have read about that had an increase were also taking estrogen and other things but it seems to give me positive effects overall so far.

FWIW, this guy had the same TEI report (high bio-unavailable copper on hair test, low bio-available copper) and reported benefits from MitoActivator.

This guys does have a similar HTMA to me and he got his copper way down (over 4 years)!

He’s like yeah feeling good but my sleep is still shit.

FML I could do 4 years of balancing and still sleep like shit (((
