City absolutely destroyed Chelsea today. Wow.. I think are the favorites to win the CL right now, though you can never rule out Barcelona. Rooting for Ajax and also Liverpool somewhat, though.

So in soccer, it's like hockey but you use your legs to kick a ball instead of a hockey stick to strike the puck, rite??

So hard to pin favorites for the CL, historically the La Liga teams have had the most success but idk this year... Barcelona could still take it home. But then again you still have Juve, Real, Mancity, and even Dortumnd is doing well. I'd put money on Barcelona if I had to bet though.

It's the quarter finals now of the CL. Who do you all think is going to take it home now?
Tottenham 1-0 against Mancity, and Liverpool 2-0 against Porto.

At this point I would say Juventus are the favorites to win. But I wouldn't be against the underdogs Ajax beating them either seeing as they destroyed Madrid :D

@Admiral @Nina @RebelWithACause

Ok how do you dutch people feel about the Ajax game yesterday? That was absolutely tragic and I'm not even a hard Ajax supporter, felt so bad for the boys with the lead they threw. The Ajax team has so much talent also, De Jong and De Ligt are soooo good.

Imagine having to root for Liverpool or Tottenham now ....

A guy can go on the phone for 30-40 min to discuss with another guy the last evening soccer game, they both watched on their own :))))))))))))))))))))) Men discuss men with hairstyles. How cool is that ))

I had big sympathy for Ajax, but what bothers me is condition of football in my country, Poland. Everybody concentrate to be next Lewandowski, Piątek. But no one want to Xavi, Iniesta - playmakers and guys who are not always on first newspappers pages. It illustarte also condition of our society, everybody want to participate in success but few want to work on it-pure egoism.

I´m really glad to see you value Iniesta and Xavi, Messi´s career would have been very different without them (and without the rest of that fantastic Guardiola trained FC Barcelona, I still fucking dislike them both though). Iniesta for me is the best spanish football player in history and should have won the Golden Ball in 2010 when Messi was given a frickin present.

Iniesta/Xavi led Spain to big success. Messi still dont have this impact on Argentina. To be a great player you need to win/or play cosmic fotball with your national team.
