Quick google search. Couldn’t find anything official on it, though, but enough to back out for me.

Guess I will wait for Gdol’s mineral protocol now and hope my sexual sides and face will clear up from that.

The guy is just guessing and the other log I posted above showed that adding in zinc fixed his symptoms, which is expected since high amounts of copper will deplete zinc.. Zinc and copper need to balanced. If you have one that is much higher than the other you will become unbalanced. Same with taking high amounts of zinc, which can also act as a 5ARi and kill your sensitivity since it depletes copper which could lower estrogen too much,, taking just copper orally can do the same thing as well...

The guy in his log even said when he upped it to 10mg a day he got the issues, not at lower doses and he wasn't taking zinc with it. More copper = less zinc

Like I said, nothing official, but the few whispers here and there make me scared a bit.

Side note; my copper (1.4) is quite a bit lower than my zink level (15). Not sure if adding zink would create an even bigger hole?

Still my big question is how this peptide forms.

I think it is induced in wounding, but otherwise will its formation increase with increased intake of histidine glycine and lysine +|- copper?
Or does one need it in supplemental form or injections?
Are there cases where GHk-cu expression is lowered? Or even inhibited?

But of course on paper it’s actions look pretty awesome.

Injections work best, it seems to have poor bioavailability (the actual peptide itself) when used orally. @Scenes was trying taking each individual component separately orally, but we don't really know if that method works. Injecting 5-10mg per day sub Q would be the most effective way.

Well, I guess this is why no one tried it. Even the Loren Pickart website you referred to doesn't feature a Products section, and I sure didn't feel inclined to email him asking what form he is selling. I assume it's mostly creams though.

Maybe start with:

  • 1 gram glycine
  • 1 gram lysine
  • 250-500mg of histidine
  • 1 gram vitamin C
  • 2mg copper glycinate (or another amino acid chelate)
Take it all at once maybe 1 or 2 times per day.

Alright , Who ever tried to take this ? Any one have any conclusions ? This peptide looks very promising , and could offer a lot of benefits for our bodies, not just hair grow ...

@gbolduev What do you think about this, should we start try this oral route with aminos +copper +vitC?

I gave sources already before, I didn't reference Pickart's product (I don't know if they are legit) just the research.

You can do it anywhere on your rat really :) it is not like a deep intramuscular injection

Most common spots lower stomach, thighs, triceps etc.

@joekool is the peptide king, perhaps he would know best. In the past, all those spots I listed worked for me via sub q

Also, no you wouldn't need to do it locally (on the scalp) perhaps it could be more effective but we don't really know, it would have a systematic effect when used sub q

There are already multiple hair patents on histidine, lysine, copper and zinc. Just recently, there are also shampoos including histidine in them as well. So the research is pretty solid, the only thing I worry about from getting it from places that have it premade is it being underdosed or watered down. You can just buy the pure ghk-cu powder on your own and make a serum and try it,

The human tripeptide GHK has a long history of safe use in wound healing and skin care; it is naturally occurring, nontoxic, and is active at a very low nanomolar concentration. It readily forms complexes with copper, regulating its metabolism and improving its bioavailability. It possesses antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and regenerative properties, improves circulation, supports stem cell functions, and promotes nerve outgrown and synthesis of neurotrophic factors. Recent studies demonstrated its ability to regulate a large number of human genes. At 1 micromolar it was able to suppress 70% of genes overexpressed in metastatic colon cancer. It upregulates p63 and integrins in epidermal stem cells, increases collagen, glycosaminoglycans, and decorin expression. Our studies with the Broad Institute's Connectivity Map revealed its ability to regulate a large number of human genes including those that are involved in nervous system physiology, development, and maintenance.

Even though it is not always possible to distinguish between activity of GHK peptide and its copper complex GHK-Cu, we strongly believe that for the future therapeutical applications GHK-Cu should be used. Numerous studies demonstrating pleiotropic health promoting and antiage activity of the GHK-Cu peptide together with recent studies revealing gene regulating activity of GHK suggest that this compound may belong to a class of epigenetic modifiers capable of exhibiting broad protective and restorative actions, reducing harmful epigenetic changes caused by environmental perturbagens. The GHK-Cu peptide should be considered a promising neuroprotective agent capable of preventing the development of common age-associated neurodegenerative disorders."

How is it any different than just copying how liposomal vitamin C is made? Just google, how to make your own liposomal vitamin C - it is really easy. I assume you could just use the raw ghk-cu powder and make it the same way, it is just a vehicle.

They mention angiogenesis, so it made me think about the little video I posted about angiogenesis some days ago.... and that this is not to look for in all cases, just for the people who would be in the case of making too much.... and there was some sexial side effects mentonned in the video.

Background: Research has shown the efficacy of hair growth factors in hair regrowth. We describe the intradermal injections of a recombinant, bioengineered hair formulation, containing growth factors, into the scalp skin, for enhancement of hair regrowth and evaluate its efficacy. Objectives: The objective of this study was to assess the efficacy and safety of the hair growth factor formulation in reducing hair loss and enhancing hair growth. Materials and methods: This was an open-label, prospective, single-arm interventional pilot study in which 1000 patients were given intradermal injections of a hair formulation into the scalp skin. The formulation contains vascular endothelial growth factor, basic fibroblast growth factor, insulin-like growth factor, keratinocyte growth factor, thymosin β4, and copper tripeptide-1 suspended in a sterile injectable vehicle. Intradermal injections of this hair formulation were injected into the scalp once every 3 weeks for a total of eight such sessions. Hair pull test was performed before every session. Videomicroscopic and global images were taken at baseline, fourth session, eighth session, and 2 months after the completion of the eight sessions. Relevant safety assessments through physical examination, questionnaires, and appropriate laboratory examination were conducted through- out the study. Results: Significant reduction in hair fall was seen in 83% of the patients on hair pull test. Videomicroscopic image evaluation showed that most patients had a decrease in the number of vellus hairs, increase in number of terminal hairs, and increase in shaft diameter. Seventy-five percent of the patients believed that the hair injections were aiding the treatment of their hair loss, and it was also beneficial in post-hair transplant patients. At 1 year, a statistically significant increase in total hair count (P = 0.002) continued to be seen. Treatment was well tolerated. Conclusions: Intradermal injections of this hair formulation may be a promising option for treating male as well as female patterns of hair loss.

I think they use AHK-CU ( L-alanyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine-Cu2+) and not GHK-CU in their formulation .
