My friends who do bodybuilding always say they prefer high estrogen over low estrogen.
With low estrogen every day is a challenge - everything is dull, including food, socialising, relationships, etc. You just want to do nothing. Also this dry mouth and sweating a lot for no reason. No pump in the gym. You get really pissed off for no reason at people who look at you the wrong way. Stuff like that. You feel 80 years OLD. I think most guys have experienced this at some point.
Too high estrogen and I think you just become too emotional and disconnected from reality. Bloated, Fantasizing, Live in a dream world. Food tastes "AMAZING" (like how girls like food), etc.
This is obviously an older thread but I suppose I'll comment anyways. For the sake of our descendants, heh.
This has been my experience as well after crashing my E2 with aromasin while natty (foolish, I'm aware). Unfortunately, it's now months after the crash and I still haven't recovered. So I guess I classify as post AI syndrome. I've normalized somewhat with certain symptoms still lingering.
I've decided to experiment a bit. I've hopped on TRT few months ago (which I now, after finding hackstasis, consider a mistake; should've gone the natural route). This helped some symptoms but my anxiety was harder to control so I've since dropped the dose AND added inj. E2 enanthate.
Currently, my protocol is about 8mg test e ED + 0.1mg e2 ED. What's interesting is that my symptoms have actually worsened in the last week, seemingly. Feeling run down again and lying in bed with 0 motivation for anything.
I'm trying to understand why that is.
I suppose low test dose converts to DHT preferentially, minimally converting to E2. I probably should've tried doing just this low test dose protocol without E2 to see if in few months the AR would downregulate due to there not being enough E2 to oppose androgens. Adding E2 has likely just slowly downregulated ER and upregulated AR and 5AR as well in attempt to oppose elevated E2 levels. So funnily enough, despite higher E2 levels in blood there's more androgenic action to inhibit estrogenic activity. I don't yet know how progesterone receptors and glucocorticoid receptors are implicated in this story. And what the current mineral imbalance status is.
I'm trying to figure out what to do because these last months absolutely wrecked my life which was otherwise quite amazing before (I've dealt with asexuality and ED after vaccine but still felt very comfortable in my body and still motivated to do stuff). I'll likely stop TRT soon but this will probably prove to be extra uncomfortable since using SERMs is not something I'm willing to risk (considering the possibility of worsening my condition).
I'll likely try TEI soon. And fasting - but then again, there's not much meat on me to lose.
If any hackstasis veterans are still around - I'm happy to hear your suggestions.
