NO i don't think so. In fact I know so.
MAYBE inherit things that make it more likely to occur after use of SSRI's/SNRI's. Inherit anxiety, depression? Sure. --esp with poor parental coping mechanisms and attachment issues, and "feeling like it's not a safe environment". But inherit, a post drug disorder like this? no. It's not thalidomide. Nor agent orange.
No way a kid will inherit PFS nor my PSSD. Pssd gone, but it happened BC of a drug. AND PFS was also because of a drug.
MAYBE, they'd also have horrible reactions to meds, but I will steer them straight.
BTW my father used avodart, flomax, etc... no pfs (he's older and it was for uro reasons). Probably some side effects, but not the like. He's also not a health fanatic.
I think if i had a son, they'd inherit ADHD for sure, or pretty likely and similar things perhaps (dep on mother and random chance), but the odds are there.
This is like, if I was addicted to coke, will my son be? Not necessarily, probably not. BUT may be more likely to use substances bc of other reasons and also genes.
I HIGHLY doubt a kid born to a parent with PSSD will have that. HOWEVER, the very reason (tho probably not completely thought through or with bad info behind it in the scientific literature), that a parent USED an SSRI (i.e. say proclivity towards depression, anxiety, cynicism, etc)... that may be passed on. Not saying that 100% happens.
Gene editing (despite recent events in china) cannot occur yet for future children, but can maybe soon enough be used in people already born. Really not that soon.... but in our lifetime.... perhaps. Probably.
