Juicing with Breuss juicing ingredients isn't bad at all imo, but I put apple and cucumber in the last time I made juice, which likely made it alot more tolerable by adding some sweetness.

I’m considering getting back into juicing. I binned it after my juice fast years back, but I definitely remember how energetic it made me (even back during the depths of those days).

You were using straight ginger juice? ginger you cant do much, i just use a small maybe 2 inch piece but its mixed in with lots of other stuff and I still even taste it strong. Havent had any detox reactions from it yet
I use 5 grams of ginger powder daily. I use it in my evening tea. mixed with ceylon cinnamon, bacopa dried, gotu kola dried, a banana peel (has magnesium and makes tea taste sweet), and this greek mountain herb called sideritis (helps aid digestion).

tastes pretty damn good and has an almost drug like effect cause I put 5 grams of every herb above

yeah I've had energy problems and I've been doing it the past 4 days a Litre. Makes my energy great too. Just so gosh darn expensive. I get it done at a place near my place. using a juicer at home doesn't seem that much more economically either because of the volume of veggies/fruits you need + cleanup

Yeah doing it at home was the worst. Just a ton of fruit laying around and always having to clean up the equipment.

Never tried juice fasting so couldn't compare, but juicing a supportive lifestyle benefit is definitely worth it. Also, regarding juice fasting, you don't really get the full benefit since it takes like months for body to restore mineral, electrolyte and vitamin balance. Usually juice fasting lasts up to a few days to 2-3 weeks max and that is not enough time for the body to restore long term deficiencies.

We saw the B2 study where it took months for the body to replete itself even with a high dose isolated supplement. So just adding in juicing to a good high protein diet over the period of a few weeks to months can definitely be much more beneficial IMO.

Similar to herb cycling but the benefit over that is you get the live enzymes, which are are not present in the herbs since they heat them over a period of hours to get the extrract powder which kills a lot of the components specifically all the enzymes

I fucked up my juicer after 1 day. I put in full onion to apply in my hair and it broke. It was a cheap ass juicer so I might buy a better one this week.

Ginger powder is okay, but like any vegetable, fruit, herb etc. raw is the best if you are in compromised state so you get the enzymes. They heat the ginger to get it down into a powder and this degrades many of the beneficial components in ginger, specifically all the enzmyes (some of the antioxidants like gingerols seem to still be present though). This takes the pressure of your pancreas from making them and the food can get absorbed very easily. When the pressure gets taken off the pancreas it can work better to regulate insulin secretion too.

I think I have that breville one
no way I'm keeping that around in apartment . Mine was like 600 or so it was on sale I think. I mean yes helped for a time. Water is built into costs of living tho sort of... In this hemisphere at least. You know water bills pay for that shyt. Water 4 life, yo.

maybe it was 300-400. It's huge. I don't remember. Vitamix is legit too. Super loud great smoothies tho. And the dry goods blender for imported coffees is sick. No coffee rite now BC of Tei ... But soon. During break and studying drinking at least 1 a day.

Is it necessary to drink those juices on an empty stomach in the morning?
Or do you sip some of it through the day with your meals?
Or both?
I am still on carnivore diet but seem to handle juices well, so I will incorporate them a bit more.

For HCl, beet is said to be the best.
Is celery in breuss juice the stem or the root?
Is the radish any radish or the black one?

No problem with raw potato?
Do you filter the starch?

My juicer is a slow screw, and I need to pass the stuff at least twice, and then I put some water in, as it has a tap on the out-pipe, and then I let the water come out, and get more juice. The problem of this kind of juicer is that it is not economical for small batches, except if you use those tricks above...

But you do not heat anything and the juice is very good.
I also juiced whole oranges, and it got thick like a marmelade when cold! So I made marmelade.... (lol not for me!)

Curious, since we're both very similar in the fast oxidizer and everything affects us the same way - does the sugar from the juice not bother you at all? If I remember correctly, people with our metabolism are to avoid sugars and fruits in most recommended diets. I've cut them out - but I wouldn't mind to start juicing again soon.

Refined sugar does like cookies and candy, fake juices/soda and shit. I don't feel energy or anything after that quite the opposite actually. I feel good when I take in sugar in the form of fruits and fresh pressed juices/vegetables. I believe it is from the mineral and electrolyte balance you get with it so the body can utilize glucose properly. But, I also workout a lot of do sprints, saunas and stuff, so maybe that is another way it doesn't bother me at all too since I could use some of the extra glucose. If you feel good on it, it can't really hurt you since your body will just regulate it since its a whole food really.

Also, a lot of these veggies can actually lower blood sugar and even increase insulin sensitivity, like ginger for example. So when you combine a lot of them together it is a nice balance.

I also don't eat breakfast. I wake up, juice 30 ounces and just drink it pretty quickly. Then I don't eat a real meal until lunch time which is like 4 hours later.
