Keeping biochemical balance for the exercise freaks

Gelatin and or collagen powder is recommended for active people, but @Helen said collagen/gelatin tanks potassium and chloride and should not be taken in alkalosis. So mixing it with fruit/veggies and salt will fix this? How do we know we are not in alkalosis anymore?

Helen said athletes are in respiratory alkalosis(and also also metabolic alkalosis) all the time? How do we get out of it and stay out of alkalosis?

Helen said pine pollen would be helpful for serious athletes, but later said this as well tanks potassium... how do we avoid this side effect?

Also how would pine pollen compare with extremely low doses testosterone (i.e. 3- 7mg/day)... helen said low doses of T will not even imbalance the body....

Viktor Conte, the father of steroids said that in 2- 3 weeks steroids will leave the body and will not show up in anti-doping testing... so what would be the best choice, pine pollen or low dose T for serious competitive athletes?

Are there other T containing food? or pine pollen (or low dose T) is enough?

What else should exercise freaks do to keep/maintain biochemical balance?

Also interested. I only recently realized that weight training has been giving me POIS like symptoms for a couple of years now, and have lightened my training considerably. Though I do miss it, it does highlight how out of whack I am.

I'm curious about this also. In the military I'm forced to exercise twice a day sometimes more so if anyone had information on this it would greatly appreciated.
