I put a teaspoon or so in, a small capful

Holy shit help

It wont come out

Ive washed my hair with 2 different shampoos

Ive tried to claw it out with my finger nails for 20 minutes

Ive tried to shave all my hair off (the shavers wont even cut it cos its full of lecithin fat) now ive got random patches that barely chunked out

God i was rubbing my eyes my eyelids nearly stuck to my face causing blindness. Almost. Okay a bit dramatic

Fuck fuck fuck

People are coming over in 50 minutes i dont want to have to explain this

Lecithin is an emulsifier, so you have to give it oil. That is why you want to use it on your head: you try to unclog your follicles from an excess of fat. Thus the glue is from an excess of lecithin compared to the oil. You know how sensitive is a mayonnaise?

Even for motor oil and pine resin, people traditionally "wash" their hands with butter, and it mixes and then they wash with real soap. Same principle: make a mayo! -->> Add a fat when you want to remove the lecithin.

Also, baking soda is quite good, it is a strong fat and chemical remover. It even dries your hair too much, so I follow with lemon juice to compensate pH. Baking soda is also a good crub BTW, like salt...

Dang I had a similar reaction the first time, I put a whole capsule of sunflower lecithin in (before I buzzed my hair back down too), left it in about an hour, then tried to go shower and do the salt scrub. Total nightmare, same as you. Sticky goopy mess. Baking soda does work like a charm though.

I put about 1/3 of a capsule on my head now each morning after my shower/salt scrub. I massage it into my scalp real good then rub it around in my short hairs like hair gel until it's all dispersed fairly equally and none of it looks stuck or matted down. I leave it in all day and wash it out at night with baking soda which is pretty easy at that point. Then my head is nice and clean for bed and doesn't get anything on the pillow, then I wake up and do the salt scrub again in the morning.

I have my hair buzzed short and use at most a 1/4 teaspoon of liquid lecithin. I massage it in and let it sit for an hour or two and then when I'm ready to wash it out, I take a little bit of coconut oil, massage that in really good and then shampoo. The lecithin comes out without any issues. So, if anyone is having problems getting it out, first, don't use too much, a little goes a long way and then use some coconut oil to make it easy to wash out.

Great thanks for the tip. How much coconut oil are you using?

I just used lecithin powder, mixed it with water and rubbed on the scalp and let dry. Left overnight and today it just washed right out with shampoo, like normal hairgel.
