I've been fed with Loratadine and other antihistamines almost whole childhood (had quite severe allergy; some docs said I'm asthmatic).
Strangely enough, I don't recall any allergy symptoms after SSRI use...

It surely does NOT prevent you from getting PSSD.

Yeah me too @health I stopped using most allergy meds except for really bad days. Same on asthma except I still have that. In fact was possibly worse than ever, during some of PSSD. I was smoking a lot though (all hyperactive/hypomanic people smoke!). Bronchitis and flu's and all that. No smoking since that year basically. Vape a lot though. I used to get bronchitis as a kid, thought I was dying several times after PSSD bc my coughing was that bad. Not in the years since.

Ive been using it some 5 days now, and i actually get some results.
My morning wood is back and my brain fog is definately less pronounced (If anything i feel more active, not more sedated as one would expect with anti-histamines). It very much reminds me of Buspar (which i used after getting PSSD).
No impact on libido though, but i have an increased pressure on my throat, which i had before when i took SJW, which gave me a window. (still dont know what this means however).
Note that buspar is often used to decrease the sexual side-effects of SSRI's, maybe this is simular. I am not sure if the articles is taking about side-effects by SSRI usage, or PSSD, this could be something similar.
Anyway, ill try it for about 2 weeks, as it is safe, OTC, cheap and without any side-effects.

Im at day 9 now, upped to dosage to 20mg/day since day 8. Doesnt seem to make me tired/dull.
Surprisingly, i feel i make small steps forward every day! I estimate i am at 50% now so too soon to tell, but this really does something. Both Emotions and libido are up.

Almost done with the 2weeks. Minor impact on libido, but brain fog is almost gone and it seems to have cured my PE that i developed in the last 6 months. Also felt bit more emotions, even stress (although not always rationale, like it wants out after 2 years of ignoring it)
Going to see if this lasts when i stop taking it. Overall pretty good stuff but far from a cure, at least at this dose for 2 weeks.

Have you used Cyproheptadine as well? If so which one do you like better?

Jaxx can you give more info on your PE? I've had PE since I came off lexapro and it's one of the most annoying parts of this syndrome.
It was weird, not oversensitive but more like a reflex that was activated too soon. Instead of a flow towards an orgasm it was on/off like.
I still dont feel like to old me, but its an improvement.

Netherlands, and i appreciate the offer reallly, but i likely try levorongestrel first.
Did either of the two do anything for you?
Cypro definitely has some nice effects. It seems to enhance libido/arousal quite a bit. Problem is you will be tired AF later on that night.
Moreso the next day, if you don't take it again. After Day 2 or 3 of high dose though, usually the body adapts to the effect and the tiredness is not much apparent.
I can't imagine the shit without Caffeine though!!!
I used up to 12 mg per day for about 3-4 days. Didn't wanna' risk fucking up my liver by using it longer than that.
