So I joined this facebook group "magnesium advocacy group", they have a website 'gotmag.com' and its very interesting timing as Gbold's current protocol seems to be strikingly similar.
For instance, Gbold is taking mag / potassium / copper / zinc / b2/ iron / calcium. It seems like they're in order of importance.
The MAG group recommends here: http://gotmag.org/the-root-cause-protocol/
seems heavily focused on increasing Ceruloplasmin. Has gbold written about this before???
i.e. no vit d supplements
no hormone supplements
Recommends magnesium (and co-factors, it says b6/boron/bicarbonate). Says magnesium is the only mineral you can supplement directly and see increases. Says men need 850mg of magnesium a day (holy cow! the magnesium supplements usually only give 100-120mg per capsule or 'serving size' LOL. but i guess you 'd get some from diet too)
they recommend an 'adrenal cocktail' which has around 62mg whole food vit c, 372mg potassium, 458mg sodium chloride
recommends Taurine!
recommends against high dose zinc cos it blocks copper absorption
says copper can't be supplemented directly, you need to get the ceruloplasmin up and that will make copper go up.
