@HerrFisch
I'm pretty sure one can't convert ARL to TEI 1:1. I think they measure different values.
If you look at freeflow's thread (see Post fast hair tests): https://hackstasis.com/threads/pre-intra-post-fast-hair-tests-20-days-of-water.1168/
Or when I converted my ARL to TEI I got a Na/K ratio of 1 but I'm sure I have sodium inversion (sugar intolerance, adrenal fatigue, etc.).
So I'm pretty sure that's not a correct way to do it.
Just wanted to let you know![]()
@HerrFisch
You are right about freeflow!
I don't know what you mean by same numbers...
ARL ideals: Na=25, K=10
TEI ideals: Na=20, K=13
If they measure the same values, they have complete different ideal ratios.
ARL Na/K = 2.5
TEI Na/K = 1.53
In TEI I have almost ideal ratio (that's what I meant by ratio = 1). I don't think this right.
I would think they have tested this (adrenaline/cortisol) and would not end up with such different ratios.
I mean this is a crucial ratio right? Completely different nervous system response...
But maybe I'm wrong...
EDIT: Ha sorry HerrFisch you are right they also say 2.5 is ideal ratio!

Apparently it's manganese AND b2 which gets wasted in my current body chemistry (that's why maple syrup works much better than plain manganese supplements). My first ARL cycle is over and I felt fairly good on last days. Little bit better baseline than before ARL.
But recently I had some little pain in one of the teeth, which my dentist put on "watched" last time.
I ate some cream of wheat with maple syrup and the pain went away completely. After a few days there was a little bit of that feeling on the tooth again. Maple syrup. Gone.
I think it's the manganese in maple syrup.
I noticed this before ARL also, that's why I experimented with manganese before.
ARL gave me manganese, that's why I had no problems while on ARL.
Apparently my body tries to get rid of manganese. I think it's to hold iron low.
My silly mind would guess I have iron toxicity.
But fortunately I don't have to figure this out on my own. I have sent in my hair to ARL again.
Hopefully they will cure me.
Have a nice day!
Apparently TEI ideal levels changed back in the day because they were made to by the fda or similar. Arl’s didn’t though. I think ARL ideal levels are the accurate ones.
Interesting. So back then they used ideal values which match with their ideal ratios.Apparently TEI ideal levels changed back in the day because they were made to by the fda or similar. Arl’s didn’t though. I think ARL ideal levels are the accurate ones.
I think so too, but I still like TEIs way of doing things (supplementing etc)
Interesting. So back then they used ideal values which match with their ideal ratios.
However I think their programs run on ratios between minerals mostly.
That's why their ideal ratios haven't really changed (because program hasn't changed that much I would guess).
They just changed the way how the result is presented basically.. IMHO

Got my new hair test.
Interestingly my magnesium increased a lot.
Na/K inversion is gone, that's why I feel a little bit better.
Still have adrenal insufficiency but got from exhaustion stage to resistance stage (according to ARL).
ARL also states that I have impaired digestion and liver/kidney stress. I might consider doing a liver flush, since I have all the ingredients at home... but I don't want to do anything which might interfere with ARL so maybe a will do it sometime in the future...
Unfortunately manganese has not improved...
They give me so much megapan it's crazy ))
