@manu So Wilson who was working at least 2 decades with Eck doesn't understand the process of nutritional balancing who does?
I am not saying he understand biochemistry and the specifics of HTMA well as Eck did. I am talking about the program as a whole.
From what I heard from him he understand that well. Just because he got insane and started talking nonsense later on for whatever reason doesn't mean he is crazy guy who doesn't know what he is talking about.. But you can disagree that's ok..

Feeling very good on the program so far... I plan to stay on it for 3 months. That would be 25th of may.
That's right before my vacation. So that's perfect.
I was worried that I will feel a lot of anxiety on the program as it has been often times in the past.
But this time it actually makes me very calm. It might be from 3x2 taurine daily.
Body temperature stays at 36.6C most of the time now. Have not seen 37C recently.

I do notice Dr. Wilson sees it almost like a supplemental program (e.g. "Most people are deficient in these nutrients!") which could be correct don't get me wrong. But for example Helen said it's more like an active chelation program where they use minerals to chelate. So they use like the opposite to what you are toxic in. But sometimes also use stuff that you might be toxic already in to first fix another problem. Not like a multivitamin where you take stuff to correct deficiencies.

Wilson did work with Eck so I imagine he does understand it to an extent. I don't get how you can go so crazy though. It makes no sense. If this program works it should make you less crazy.

Hi, I wanted to ask if and how you treated your nasal polyps without having to undergo surgery?
Hi, I had surgery years ago but they grew back even worse 1-2 years later.
I can not really tell you for sure what improved them this much. But I have been on ARL for over 3-4 years and I noticed that the situation improved with every ARL cycle a little small bit.

Now I still have them but there are so small that they don't really bother me anymore.
When I get sick or hungover or any extreme situation. Then I can still feel them getting worse.

I have a prescription for dupilumab which I can use in emergency cases but I have not used it in a long time because I think it could interfere with ARL and I don't really need it.
Also I ran a few anti-parasitic cycles and I think this has improved it as well (you can read about it in my log).

This is something which still bothers me: if I fix the root cause of them then they should fall off... So actually I still have not fixed the root cause...
It is just that inflammation is in control now so they are smaller.

Do you have nasal polyps?

Personally, I don't think I have an excessive amount of them, based on the symptoms. My father has them, and they've suggested surgery for him. He gets temporary relief from cortisone sprays and inhalers.

Where can I find out what ARL provided you with?

Thanks

ARL is an individual program based on a hair test. It does not necessarily help him to take same things I have taken. Could even make things worse. It has to be adapted to his body chemistry.

And as I said: I still have them.

Does he have high eosinophils on blood test?

I need to check. What exactly are you referring to?

I was just wondering because I know a few people who polyps and most have high eosinophils.
And high eosinophils are associated with parasitic infections. So maybe it would be worth to take the anti parasitic approach in that case.
But I guess there are different types of nasal polyps.

ARL is giving me 3 grams of taurine a day. That's A LOT.

I was thinking about it and I think helen explained this if I remember correctly. Most people with chronic infections have taurine deficiency:
Since NADPH oxidase is heavily upregulated a lot of NADPH is used and not enough remains for glutathione recycling. Therefore glutathione has to be synthesized de-novo. Which means it has to use cysteine for synthesis of glutathione.
But cysteine is also needed for synthesis of taurine. So all those people like me with chronic high NADPH oxidase will have taurine deficiency.

Taurine has so many functions. Will be interesting how I feel after that cycle.

I used a lot of taurine back in PFS days. I never noticed much from it except slightly less anxiety, maybe. Wonder how you feel on it. I think it also helps to prevent zinc toxicity or has some synergy with zinc.

Yes for me I think it lessens anxiety a little bit.
But ARL gives me 30 capsules a day. I can not tell which effects are from taurine alone.
