my 300m sprints went from 39 seconds to 63 seconds on a keto diet :))))).. i never heard olympians on low carb/keto/zero carb diet...

Because they aren’t, their performance would suffer too much but for normal people who lift a few times a week and do some cardio, its completely fine to follow a keto diet

I would love to se you play soccer on keto diet LOL you are a goalkeeper. Just standing there right? hahaha Training 3-4 hours a day for soccer on full keto/zero carb diet LOL good story bro..

You have a very big ego, for no particular reason as i haven’t seen you give anyone good advice around here. However, i did soccer on a keto diet for a few months and my performance was definitely lower than on carbs but it was still possible to train on it.

The power/sprinting doesn’t make sense to me because slow oxidizers run on sugar (atleast @Helen said so) and fast oxidizers are running on fats so it would make more sense for slow oxidizers to be good at sprinting/explosive movements as they are running on sugar while fast oxidizers are running on fats so they would have better endurance. A lot of people on the keto diet also get better endurance as they start running on fats which doesn’t provide explosive energy but long lasting energy

Fast oxidizers have impaired fat metabolism. They dont run on fats. to fix them you need to make them run on fats.

Using diet that makes your performance worse. Makes sense..

Was just trying it out, wasn’t forever
I have no idea what you talking about ego here. In your post it sounded like keto is good for athletes and sports. I am just saying it is detrimental. Keto diet for sports like soccer, hockey etc.. is even worse than diet of average americans.. So I don't know what's your point... Keto diet is good for inactive fat people. Not for active people let alone athletes.

Im curious about @Helen 's opinion about carb backloading diet for bodybuilding or health in general. Many guys do this on swole source who recover from pfs. @Cdsnuts do it too. But as far as I remember, when I tried it and I run on fat mostly and I do a carbbackloading I get huge brain fog from the carbs.

Because there are a lot of people on keto diets while lifting weights and doing cardio. Ketogains on reddit is completely filled with people doing it. Keto is not optimal for athletes and i never said it was, i just tried it myself to see what it is like. Keto is not just for fat inactive people, theres a lot of in shape people who follow a keto diet because of the way it makes them feel.

Omg I was doing bodybuilding 10 years. Yes you can lift weights and do cardio on keto. But we were talking about endurance sports on keto.. Yes you can sit on stationary bike and do some cardio, but you can't do real biking without glucose lol. Then you talking about 3-4 hour soccer training without glucose? How you can run, sprint be dinamic etc.. without glucose in the blood???

It is a cyclical keto diet. I did this for a while and did the carb loading on the weekend.

Keto diets are good for aerobic sports like swimming. Running. Not as good for burst sports , or lifting . Although some people do it to stay ripped.

Burning fats is a slower process. and thus a huge burst spends that energy fast and you are not able to make acetylCO fast enough to proceed.

But some people whos sugar metabolism and fat metabolism is impaired at the same time. feel ok going into the fats metabolism or keto. Same as on hydrogen water. if your sugar and fat metabolism is impaired you run on protein and that is very bad for you, and thus if you go on hydrogen water, you start running on fats. and may be later on you add sugars. We don't know that yet.

Thus any acidic water will make you run on fats . Cancer is when you run only on protein since both of your metabolisms are impaired. This creates a lot of ammonia.and very toxic state. Thus cancer is known to be cured with aspirin. OR I would assume hydrogen water by turning you into fats metabolism and dropping cortisol by lowering potassium in the cell.

This is why I said that I am not against hydrogen water, but it could be just protonated water which has all these effects, which was decribed by Volkov and in that case all these machines, and special waters are just a rip off. Drinking water with some acids or malic acid would do the same thing.

Inhalations of hydrogen might be good, but has to be done daily to have any effect at all I would assume.

We dont really know how hydrogen water works. May be it would be good to increase your b vitamins with it. folic acid b12 etc.

Is it ok to drink both malic acid and hydrogen water? And as you have said in the past that Pois is cancer and the cure is the same then H2 could be the solution?

Will be getting on the inhalations next week to see how I do.

Also I do still feel H2 has chelating abilities malic acid does not, just based on how I feel when I drink either or.

I feel good on malic acid and it feels like a v efficient cleanser, but H2 always feels slightly more profound. But then again, I could be wrong, time will tell

If you dont do good on b1. you might try carnitine for POIS.

Can you post your hairtest?
Unfortunately not, have not sent it off yet, but have paid for it and got all the stuff, decided to go all in on the H2 and save it for a later date, but will send it off next week and post results when they arrive
