Any input? How can I have 0 potassium? My zinc is off the charts, probably because I. was dumb enough to use Head&Shoulders, would the descriptions be different if I used a shampoo without zinc sulphate? Got a list of supplements to buy.

Seems like the test is corrupted.. 0 potassium seems imposible.. and they are basing the supps on these test results, if u can afford I would run again.. wash your hair with a natural soap and then wait 24 to 48 hours without any product or washing before u submit sample.. maybe try arl as well?

I became sick after getting burned out at work, so low potassium seems likely, though I have been supplementing a lot of potassium chloride

@Ocguy

Its not 0. Its 1. And thats totally possible.

Range starts with 2. So its just the graph looking really shocking, but actually its not at zero.
Ok, fair enough.. I'm on my phone and didn't look at the attachement or reference ranges.. was basing my reply on the shock claim

I used selenium shampoo 6 months prior to my hair test and it was still off the charts. Best to shave it off and start fresh or wait a couple months

I’m starting to wonder if my elevated magnesium on test #1 was due to Epsom salt baths.

This stuff can be tough smh.

My gf had this kind of potassium in her 2nd test too. I think maybe it was transitionatory? She came out of 4 lows anyway.

I had low potassium in my 1st test, then checked my cronometer and i never hit the rdi for it. So i had tomato paste and potatoes to hit the rdi, as well as 30mg zinc a day which increases it. My 2nd test my potassium increased a lot, taking me out of 3 lows. Check my signature. Now ive been trying to get my mg up.

Btw i dont think you should take zinc, it lowers copper, and yours isnt high. I shouldnt have taken it in hindsight.

I took a lot of hcl before but it made me feel bad after a while, I dont remember exactly the symptoms. About nine months ago I took zinc, manganese and potassium chloride daily for 3 months, so I dont understand why potassium is so low, though I was told it was due to stress.
