Thats what i did, but my tests are all normal besides cortisol being a little high which is why im stuck right now. Its not that easy, you know.

I'm skeptical of TEI too but might be worth a couple month trial if you're stuck?

So i have made some huge lifestyle changes in the past few weeks. I’ve decided to stop playing soccer at a professional level as i have been injured and sick constantly. I am now playing at a lower level 3 times a week as a hobby. I have also decided to start pursueing the type of job i want and will be going back to school September 2019 studying (comercial) economics which is what im good at and what i like doing. Im still going to the gym 3 times a week, switched to a fullbody lifting routine + 20-30 mins of cardio after. Happy with the changes i made

Nice, good job. Econ is fairly useful at times. Good for you!
Yeah, skimmed it... The quitting bc of injury less than ideal, but you gotta do what's right for you. Everyone needs breaks sometimes. Fullbody is ideal or top - down, I like.

Worked my way up to 200gr carbs + 120gr protein daily + rest of calories from fat and i feel really good. The protein especially seems to be really important to feel good for me.

Nice. That's really good. How long did it take to work up to 200 g carbs? Like 4-6 weeks? 8 wks? 20 wks? 4 wks? 1 wk? 5 days? 1 day? 40 days?
Nice my real guess was 6 weeks. That's how long it took to go from skinny mini at 1400 or 1800 cals to raising my Total Daily Energy Expenditure and Pyramiding up cals to 2700 and 3500 etc. I will likely do that again. That was several yrs ago. It works. Same with any nutrient, but most would do it with carbs or total nutrients of ea type.

I added 40 each week so 5 weeks pretty much

Wow that’s great. Last I heard from you, you were down in dumps with bad cfs. So you’ve gotten a lot better over last what 8 weeks with increasing carb consumption?

Cfs definitely beatable by diet and exercise alone by some people and you’re a great example of so. Exercise has been a part of this correct??

BTW dont forget about salt. It literally makes me feel 10 times better when i eat more salt. I now take 2 bouillon cubes (5gr salt each) every day in hot water

little things i have noticed about my diet:

- Bacon makes me bloated and puffy from water retention. Its not the sodium because other salty foods dont have this effect on me

- High protein intake from meat (mostly ground beef and chicken) makes me feel a lot better + makes me recover faster from workouts

- Dairy has the same effect as bacon, makes me bloated and puffy. Completely cut it out of my diet except for 30gr whey post workout

- Eating only at night during a 4 hour eating window (6 pm till 10 pm) gives me more energy during the day + i dont have to think about food either

- I now walk my dogs for an hour after eating my last meal and it really helps me with digesting all the food

- I need more carbs than i thought, currently at 200 grams a day sometimes a little more. When i go lower, i tend to get tired and lethargic during the day (possibly running out of glycogen)

Btw, unrelated but still interesting: extra potassium and a little magnesium (250mg magnesium + 1 gram of extra potassium) completely takes my PMS away (cramps and irritability)

Looks good to me. Maybe you are a slow oxidizer so you need more carbohydrates/less dairy/less fat.

Dairy and pork fat are both high in pre-formed vitamin A, it is probably the vitamin A causing issues. Adequate meat protein provides the zinc and aminos to build retinol binding protein(RBP) to remove vitamin A.

I take magnesium glycinate and potassium chloride powder. The potassium is kinda gross but i mix it with lemon flavor so its ok.
